Rising from the ashes of ALAZKA and Time, The Valuator, brand new German duo FLOYA have shared a video for their second single, 'The Hymn', streaming now via Arising Empire.

After the hopeful and dance-inducing 'Wonders', FLOYA are now shaking things up with their second effort entitled 'The Hymn'. This time the duo are leaning more towards fast-paced rock, while still managing to maintain their unique art-pop influence. 'The Hymn' scoops you up without warning and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster through FLOYA's own dreamscape.
Vocalist Phil Bayer comments:
"'The Hymn' is about compromise and letting go, but also about making peace with those concepts. There are times when you realise you can’t have everything you want, so then you’ve got to decide what to pursue and what to let go of. Those kind of things can be fairly dramatic sometimes, but in the end these scenarios teach us about what’s most important to us."
FLOYA, consisting of Phil Bayer and Marv Wilder, blend modern EDM elements with poppy hooks on their previous single 'Wonders'. After carving a name for themselves as the founders and songwriters of their previous acts, Phil and Marv are on a journey of their own, exploring a vast array of genres and following one simple mantra: There are no limits. With this statement engraved on their minds, FLOYA strive to create something bigger than themselves, taking listeners on an unforgettable adventure.
FLOYA teamed up with Chris Kempe at Embark Audio (ALAZKA and Time, The Valuator) for full production duties and additional songwriting, with mastering handled by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro, Don Broco).
