Introducing new collective moksha (ex-Ithaca); release debut single 'Three Rivers' today

Introducing brand new spiritual art-rock collective moksha, who today reveal their debut single 'Three Rivers'.

The band comment: "'Three Rivers' takes its name from the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three sacred rivers in India, a place where families come to immerse the ashes of loved ones and perform rituals connected with remembrance and the hope of moksha (liberation). It asks a simple question: what would you do if you knew everything was temporary? What would change?"

moksha are a UK group founded by Sam Chetan-Welsh, best known for his time in the acclaimed Ithaca. Blending emo, math rock and elements of gospel, neo-soul and spiritual jazz, the moksha project brings together a number of brilliant musicians - including brass, woodwind, keys and multiple vocalists - to create expansive compositions that invite moments of connection and enlightenment.

Gathered together with the aim of only performing one to two times per year, moksha will approach each appearance as a rare live moment of transcendence.

Watch moksha at their first festival show, at the famed ArcTanGent, on Friday 21st August, mainstage, at 12:10pm.
