Rising alt-rockers PHOENIX CALLING reveal video for 'Hold On To Glory'

Phoenix Calling return with brand new single ‘Rescue Me’, and have launched the video which was premiered on Mosh.

'Rescue Me' marks a change in sound for Phoenix Calling; stripped back verses with a focus on the dynamic vocal parts result in a more mature sound, and instrumental parts that are hugely memorable. This is in part thanks to the input from producer Lee Batiuk (Deaf Havana producer Old Souls / Fools & Worthless Liars deluxe edition), who the band brought back in to work with them once again.

'Rescue Me' is a very personal song with emotive lyrics and strong message. Vocalist Steve Chapmanexplains:
"Rescue Me was written after seeing a Facebook post by our bass player’s father in remembrance of his Dad who had recently passed away. The words were so poetic, honest and heart felt, that I always felt there was a song in there.
"The song is about loss, memories, reminiscence and being able to find yourself after losing a close friend. Life is short and we should hang onto the times that mean the most to us."

Check out the band on one of the following dates:

July 2nd - Festival Too, Kings Lynn supporting The Vamps
July 10th  - Willow Fest, Peterborough
August 27th - Redhill Rocks, Ratcliffe on Soar
September 4th - Fort Fest, Bedfordshire

Volumes sign to Fearless Records and release new song "Feels Good"

Fearless Records is thrilled to welcome Los Angeles, CA heavy rock five-piece VOLUMES to the family.

"We ultimately came to the decision to sign with Fearless Records after spending years watching them evolve into one of the top labels," explains bassist Raad Soudani. "The Fearless Records 'family' is a perfect fit for Volumes. We feel more confident moving forward as group and believe this opportunity will open"

The band have been busy putting the finishing touches on their new album, set to release this autumn, with the addition of new singer Myke Terry (formerly of Bury Your Dead). To give fans a first listen of new music, the band have released their new song and music video for "Feels Good," with the track available on iTunes.

Singer Myke Terry explains, "This song is about realizing we all have a story to tell. Everyone has to deal with their own problems and demons. There's beauty in finding the strength to pull yourself out of darkness. It's horribly bleak when you're down in the trenches.... It feels good to come out on top."

Check out 'Feels Good' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-Vb08vyvpE

Formed in 2009, VOLUMES are known to blend together an eclectic mix of musical influences, forging a creative bond between several types of genres that are worlds apart. The line up includes Myke Terry (Vocals), Gus Farias (Vocals), Diego Farias (Guitar), Raad Soudani (Bass), Nick Ursich (Drums). VOLUMES have been a stand-out in their genre for having two dynamic vocalists, utilizing different ranges of singing and screaming to create a layered, charismatic, volatile sound which leaves listeners begging for more. The combination of their efforts results in a fusion between intricate patterns, melodies, aggressive, straight to the point, metal. The band is currently putting the finishing touches on their third full-length, which will follow 2014's No Sleep, and Via (2011), which both peaked at #1 on the iTunes Rock & Metal Charts.

Next week the band will kick off their full summer slot on the Vans Warped Tour 2016 and then hit the UK on the Sumerian Alliance tour alongside Born Of Osiris, Veil Of Maya and Black Crown Initiate.

Black Coast have been turning heads at rapid speed, their previous two singles 'Mercenary' and 'Violence Reigns' championed by Kerrang! Radio presenter Alex Baker as well as making it onto the Total Rock Radio B-list. Despite the fact that the band are the new kids on the block, there's nothing rusty sounding about their material. Each of the five tracks on Crows Of The North are full of guts, tight riffing, razor-sharp vocals and breakdowns aplenty. That said, the songs are still hook-laden and full of melody.

Since their inception in 2011, Napoleon have become highly revered on the hardcore scene for seamlessly combining abrasive punk attitude with technical virtuosity and inventive hook laden songwriting. In true punk rock style, Napoleon have barely left the road in their time as a band, currently in the middle of an extensive European headline run, as well as touring with Being As An Ocean, The Devil Wears Prada, Architects, Comeback Kid, Defeater, The Amity Affliction, and jumping on countless underground DIY tours across Europe.

Having honed their skills in the live arena, the resulting sound is truly organic and energetic, setting them leagues apart from the many bedroom projects with players of a similar technical calibre. Napoleon could be compared to the likes of Architects, At The Drive In and Propaghandi, who have all shown fearless boundary pushing whilst retaining real attitude and feel.

Napoleon are ably supported by miserable London metal/hardcore mob Shields, fresh from their storming set at Camden Rocks Festival. The fast-rising metalcore mob with a tech-metal tinge have recently celebrated their one-millionth view on YouTube and have been constantly touring since the smashing success of their 2015 EP 'Guilt'.

SERVERS announce new album via Undergroove and gig dates for 2016

"Wild, dark times are rumbling towards us as a human race. We don’t have the answers, we are as afraid as you are. Everything is not OK! The world has gone to shit. Terrorism, politics, consumer greed, war and poverty are everywhere but we‘re force-fed by the media and organised religion that everything is OK and we’ll somehow get out of this. We won’t, not this time and your only chance to survive this is to collaborate, join together as one, forge a position of trust in a world where there is none and leave with us," say South Yorkshire’s dirtiest rock ‘n’ roll cult, SERVERS, who are set to release their sophomore album ‘Everything is OK’ on the 19th August 2016 via Undergroove Records.

Everything is OK is a vociferous call to arms from the Northern rockers. 10 brooding tracks unleash a healthy dose of melancholic beauty with equal amounts of haunting disposition, sonic drama, captivating hooks and 43 minutes of mood-building tension, succinctly enveloped by vocalist Lee Storrar's evocative, untouchable vocal delivery.

Comments bassist Lee Wilde: "For this album we wanted to take the whole Servers concept to the next level, deeper and darker. There's still the cult insight behind the songs but we tried to get deeper into the minds of those that operate in cults and look at the largest cults of all, like the mainstream media and organised religion in all its forms, looking at how they affect our everyday lives.  There's a darkness there, a sinister shadow in the background and we're force fed that everything is ok and that it's all going to work out in the end. Our view is that people need to wake up to this, to stop believing all the propaganda they are fed and as Servers we can show we are aware and look for the answers together."

Having perfected their sound on stages at Guilfest and Hammerfest and being main tour support for My Ruin under their belt, the band are set to spend the rest of 2016 gigging and touring, announcing the first in a string of dates to promote the release of their album, as follows.

June 18 -  Live in Barnsley Festival
June 19 - The Hop Bar, Sheffield
July 2 - Sanctuary Rock Bar, Burnley
July 9 - BeanFest, Rotherham
July 16 - Coalfields Festival
Aug 19 - ALBUM LAUNCH SHOW, Barnsley Rock and Blues bar
Sept 16 - Sheffield O2 Academy2

Everything is OK will be released on August 19 via Undergroove Records.

Melodic metal bruisers Griever unveil new video for 'She Is Death'

Infectiously talented melodic metal bruisers Griever are delighted to unveil their dark new video for 'She Is Death' taken from their new EP, Soul Searcher - out now!

Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ndNDoGVCsg

A band who grab hold and don’t let go, Griever follow in the tradition of the finest melodic metal. Reminiscent of the heyday of the Gothenburg Sound, Soul Searcher is a pummeling yet highly melodic album. A release bursting with potential that belies its relatively brief length, Soul Searcher is a deceptively straightforward record: no-filler, no-frills metal. A crowdpleaser of an album from a band who get straight to the point, for fans of Trivium, In Flames, Malefice and more.

Griever have previously supported Unearth, Being as an Ocean, Crossfaith, and more, and have recently completed a UK headline tour with goth rockers The Dead XIII. With fans all over the world (including merchandise worn on the slopes of Mount Everest), Griever are a band deserving to only get bigger and bigger.
