ARTIFICIAL LANGUAGE to release debut album The Observer

USA prog rock outfit ARTIFICIAL LANGUAGE are due to release their debut album The Observer on 28th April 2017.

They recently released the single for "These Aren't Mirages", taken from the forthcoming album. Check it out here:

The single is available as a free track when pre-ordering The Observer. Pre-orders are available here.

Boasting a sound akin to progressive rock mavericks Haken and Leprous, ARTIFICIAL LANGUAGE really embody a sound beyond that. Carving technical hooks and passages that show a gifted amalgamation of influences and prowess, they exhibit a sound more reminiscent that is truly their own. They plunge into a vastly distinct and unique territory of prog rock, where they have not only found their footing but have already claimed the land as theirs for the taking and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Hindi / Indian post-rockers ASWEKEEPSEARCHING announce new LP and stream new track

ZIA due for release 28.04.17

Indian post-rock band aswekeepsearching have announced their new album ZIA, set for release 28.04 via Flowers Blossom In The Space.

Pre-order the album and contribute to the band's PledgeMusic campaign here:

www.pledgemusic.com/projects/as-we-keep-searching

The world's only Hindi prog band, aswekeepsearching have given a tantalising glimpse into the new album with track stream 'Reminiscence'.

First premiered via Prog, you can listen to the track here:

https://soundcloud.com/aswekeepsearching/05-reminiscence/s-X1uoX

It’s rare that you hear a record as unique and emotional as ZIA. Mostly instrumental, partially sung in Hindi, and entirely cinematic and all-encompassing, ZIA is awash with pure aural beauty - lamentative, ethereal, and majestic.

For fans of Sigur Rós, 65daysofstatic, and God Is An Astronaut, ZIA is an album that meshes the finest traditions of cathartic post-rock and Indian musical heritage. Beyond the Hindi vocals, the album incorporates tabla drums, sitars, and Indian modes to stunning effect.

A band who’ve already toured Russia (watch their tour documentary here), aswekeepsearching have played major festivals across India, including all the Bacardi NH7 weekenders, and have shared stages with Steven Wilson, 65daysofstaticTides From Nebula, I Am Waiting For You Last SummerThe Formidable Joy and more - a group starting to flex their collective muscles.

Stay tuned for further news.

The single is the first new material from the band this year following their stunning debut full-length, Remnant of Humanity, released Spring 2016. Featuring Thy Art Is Murder's CJ McMahon, the album received critical acclaim worldwide and attention from Metal Hammer, Rock Sound, Metal Injection and more besides. Hand picked by Fit For An Autopsy to support on their UK tour, the band also played UK Tech-Fest last summer.

-----------------------

Since the release of their highly acclaimed EP Antithesis in November 2013, the group have fast scaled the ranks, and Remnant of Humanity is fine testament to From Sorrow To Serenity's earth-shattering approach and undeniable skill. Already turning heads, garnering support from BBC Radio 1, Metal Hammer, Rock Sound, Metal Injection and more, the album is a blistering sub-35-minute ride full of monumental grooves and vicious vocals, featuring guest appearances from Aaron Matts (Betraying the Martyrs), Scott Kennedy (Bleed from Within) and CJ McMahon (Thy Art is Murder).

From the rollocking opener ‘Hellbound’ to the apocalyptically huge riff on album closer ‘The Way Back’, Remnant of Humanity is a no-holds-barred release demanding to be heard. Not surprising as the album was mixed and mastered by world renowned producer Will Putney (Suicide Silence, Northlane, Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain and more).

THE INTERBEING announce new album Among the Amorphous (23.06.17) and sign with Long Branch Records

Danish tech metal powerhouse The Interbeing are set to release their new album Among The Amorphous, six years from their acclaimed debut album Edge of the Obscure.

Signing to German label Long Branch Records, the long-awaited new album is due 23.06.17.

The result of inspiring hard work and ambition, the second album is the result of gritted perfectionism from the band. An album that lifts the bar in regards of storytelling and songwriting in the world of technical metal, the songs have a sinister David Lynch feel crossed with polyrhythmic Meshuggah-inspired sonances.

The Interbeing plunges into a futuristic music journey in which Dara Corcoran's constant shifting between growls, whispering, chanting and grand melodies makes this album one of the most ambitious releases in Danish metal in many years.

Among The Amorphous is mixed by the newly talented producer Jonas Haagensen and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios (Volbeat, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Pretty Maids).

American rock act CKY (Chad I Ginsburg, Jess Margera and Matt Deis) have signed to Entertainment One Music (US) and Longbranch Records (Europe), and will release a new full-length album this summer.

"We are thrilled to be working with one of the most progressive record labels in the music business today," states vocalist Chad I Ginsburg. ”CKY are looking forward to a long partnership in great music for the entire world with eOne/Long Branch!”

The new yet to be titled LP will be the first release since the band put out Carver City in 2009.

CKY just announced a slew of UK tour dates right before returning to the US for the 2017 Vans Warped Tour. This is the band's first time returning to the Warped Tour since 2000.

2017 will be a massive year for CKY, who have sold north of a million albums over the course of their nearly-20-year career. Fans can expect new music and more tour dates from a band that is re-energised and refreshed, and emerging with a career-defining effort that will prove to be worth the wait.

Chad I Ginsburg, the band’s guitarist and singer, steps into the frontman role with charisma, charm, and bravado, confidently delivering a diverse performance as he claims a position that was clearly rightfully his to own.

He’s joined in enduring partnership and musical and personal chemistry by fellow CKY cofounder, Jess Margera, the drummer whose extracurricular work in projects like The Company Band (with guys from Clutch and Fireball Ministry) expanded CKY’s horizons as much as Ginsburg’s solo work has as well. The duo returned to their primary project refreshed and reenergized, with bassist Matt Deis (ex-All That Remains), who first joined CKY in 2005.

Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, and Deftones have all personally invited CKY on tour, cementing a legacy as a hard-charging live act. CKY built a worldwide fanbase of dedicated acolytes, friends, and supporters, lovingly dubbed the CKY Alliance, with a broader group of musicians, athletes, and other creative types in the CKY family, both literally and figuratively.

“We’re grown adults now with an eagle-eye perspective on who we are, what we do, and how to do it right,” Ginsburg declares, with matter-of-fact certainty. “None of us are out there in the clouds. We’re pretty well-grounded people that have an honest perspective on where we’re at.”
