Paceshifters recently released new single 'Stranger', a taste of their forthcoming album due for release this autumn via new label Hassle Records – their first on the label and first dedicated release outside of their native Netherlands.

Check out 'Stranger' here: http://smarturl.it/PS_Stranger

The band recently filmed and recorded a live version of 'Stranger' at GieSound Studio in Zwolle, Netherlands, watch the video here:

Inspired by the grunge movement that shook the foundations of alternative music, Paceshifters bring an innovative twist on the genre whilst also boasting the complete unadulterated attitude that it was renowned for.

Possessing a no-nonsense mentality since their inception, Paceshifters have evolved into a devoutly passionate new grunge-rock band with a sound that is sure to enthrall any listener who enjoys the heavier side of Nirvana with doses of powerful Incubus-esque melodies and riffs along with the grit and energy of Chevelle. However, drawing comparisons doesn’t do Paceshifters justice; where the band exhibit their gifted uniqueness in spades is throughout new album Waiting To Derail, more details of which will be revealed soon.

Paceshifters are notorious for bringing an audience to its feet in full appreciation. Having previously rocked festivals such as Woodstock (Poland)GroezrockZwarte CrossPinkpopExitRock for People and SXSW the trio have honed their sound to perfection in the live arena, an impressive accolade in itself for a band at such a young age.

THE CONTORTIONIST release new single 'Absolve'

Progressive rock act THE CONTORTIONIST have released new video and single 'Absolve', taken their forthcoming LP Clairvoyant, due for release on 15 September via Longbranch / SPV.

Originally premiered by Revolver Magazine, watch 'Absolve' here:

"'Absolve' was one of the first songs written for Clairvoyant," says guitarist Robby Baca. "We honestly didn't know what to think of this track until nearing the end of our recording sessions; it became a favorite for everyone. The song represents a few sides of songwriting and the kind of mood that we wanted to explore. It is still a very unique track when listened to in context of the whole album."

'Absolve' is available on all streaming services today and, along with first single 'Reimagined', is available as an iTunes Instant Gratification track - fans who pre-order the album via iTunes will receive both tracks as instant downloads.

The Contortionist upcoming release Clairvoyant is the highly anticipated follow up to Language, the genre defying LP that continues to garner critical acclaim. Clairvoyant, which reunited the band with producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Through The Eyes Of The Dead), takes the best elements of The Contortionist’s past and reshapes them as the band follows their individual creative muses toward the future.

The band wrapped up a tour with Periphery earlier in the summer, before embarking on an intimate UK headline run and a slot at Download Festival. In September, The Contortionist will be main support on Between the Buried and Me's 10-year anniversary tour of 'Colors'. A European tour will be announce later on in the year.

BODHI announce release date for EP 'Ineffable' and release video for 'Enamor'

BODHI have announced that their debut EP Ineffable will be self-released on 25 August.

The one-man project has also unveiled the video for single 'Enamor'. First premiered on ItDjents, you can now watch the video for 'Enamor' here:

The alter-ego of The Room Colored Charlatan guitarist Justin Seymour, BODHI is an entirely solo musical operation, conceived only at the beginning of 2017. Reminiscent of PliniPolyphiaIntervals and other leaders in the melodic prog field, Ineffable is a glorious half-hour ride of uplifting and cathartic instrumentalism. Listen for example to the galloping, Animals As Leaders-esque opening to ‘The Texture of Motion’, or the powerful hit of the closing section of lead track, ‘Enamor’.

A musical departure from his original group in The Room Colored CharlatanBODHI demonstrates an intent and exciting new solo talent with Ineffable. With TRCC, Bodhihas played alongside TesseracTBorn of OsirisThe ContortionistJeff LoomisScale the Summit, and many more. Currently only a studio project, BODHI’s aptitude will surely see him scaling the ranks and joining the stage very soon.

CKY release new video 'Replaceable'

CKY have debuted their brand new video 'Replaceable' taken from their new album The Phoenix.

First premiered on Loudwire, you can listen to the track here:

Produced/Directed by JOFFco, 'Replaceable' is the second music video from the band's LP The Phoenix.

"The video for 'Replaceable' captures just how ridiculous the whole process of making a music video is," says the band. "And how bands have so many bad ideas pitched to them so we figured we put a bunch of them into one video. It's a comical look about our hunt to find an average director to shoot a decent music video and the struggle that ensued. Enjoy!"

The Phoenix was released on 16th June 2017 via eOne / SPV and is the first release from CKYsince they put out Carver City in 2009. The album was engineered and mixed at Rancho De La Luna, the highly regarded recording studio in Joshua Tree, CA.

CKY are currently playing the entirety of the 2017 Vans Warped Tour and is the band's first time retuning to Warped Tour since 2000. Before that, CKY finished a highly successful thirteen show run of the UK, most of which were sold out.

UK death metallers ABHORRENT DECIMATION debut new track & video 'Granted Indulgence'

"Bludgeoning, laden with groove and played with a frightening technical precision, the four-piece have, from within a modern sound, captured the vital essence that made death metal such an important genre." - Metal Hammer

UK-based extreme death metal group ABHORRENT DECIMATION have released their savage new single 'Granted Indulgence', ahead of the release of their sophomore album The Pardoner on July 28 via Prosthetic Records

First premiered on Echoes and Dust, you can now listen to the new track and watch the lyric video for 'Granted Indulgence' here:

Vocalist Ashley Scott commented about the new track: "We are really pleased with how this one came out. "Granted Indulgence" is such a pivotal point in the story too, so it was really important to us that it stood out. In the story, "Granted Indulgence" is the point at which our three men take to the woods in search of "Death". A right horrible git, who has taken the lives of men, women and children in their village. Instead of finding "Death" in the deep dark woods, they find a sea of treasure. It is at this point, the three men, so overwhelmed at this life changing find, they begin to conspire against one another."

Conceptually, the new album is an in-depth exploration into "The Pardoner", English poet Geoffrey Chaucer's most depraved and deceitful character from The Canterbury Tales. "The Pardoner" is a religious fraud and hypocrite who preaches against the love of greed, yet whose own love of wealth enabled him to profit off the sins of others. He claimed to work on behalf of the clergy, selling spiritual forgiveness for one's sins in the form of his pardons, which included forged "official letters" from high ranking church officials absolving one of their sins and bones and crystals blessed with healing powers. In Chaucer's story, "The Pardoner" tells a harrowing tale of three men whose materialism becomes the death of them.

The Pardoner was recorded, mixed and mastered by bassist David Archer at Audio Empire. The intricate artwork for The Pardoner was created by German illustrator Karmazid, based on a visual concept by Vocalist Ashley Scott.

ABHORRENT DECIMATION will release their upcoming dynamic, cutting edge modern death metal album, The Pardoner, on July 28, 2017 via Prosthetic Records. Pre-orders are available now via http://smarturl.it/AbhorrentDecimation.
