Lyricist and vocalist Daniel Tompkins explains the concept of the track:

“Far too often we find ourselves lead into conflict and inner turmoil. Life is surely a battle, history has a bad habit of repeating itself and when living with the constraints of an onerous life it’s easy to overlook the greatest gift we’ve ever received: life itself.”

Acclaimed progressive doom-merchants KING GOAT have streamed a new lyric video. 'Doldrum Sentinels' is the first listen from their much-anticipated new LP Debt of Aeons.

First premiered on Metal Hammer; watch 'Doldrum Sentinels' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVO2chSz3bs

Debt of Aeons will be released on April 20 via Aural Music, with artwork by acclaimed artist Travis Smith (OpethIced EarthKatatonia and many more).

Pre-order the album: https://kinggoat.bandcamp.com/

In the band's own words, "the album is, in many ways, a reflection of the world in which it was conceived; the result of personal mental decline and the resultant pessimistic view of our species. This negativity permeates the record at an atomic level, seeping from between the riffs and spilling like bile from the lyrics themselves. Our sound further expands on the journey that Conduit began, exploring a multitude of paths to do justice to our vision. Debt of Aeons is upon us and we're proud to release this record."

Watch the band on tour in April (dates below). The tour follows the band's support of Gothic Metal legends Paradise Lost in February.

Dates:

Friday 20th April Temple Of Boom Leeds England

Saturday 21st April Asylum Birmingham England

Sunday 22nd April The Black Heart London England

Saturday 28th April Green Door Store Brighton England

This follows KING GOAT's steady rise as one of the most highly-regarded bands in British doom. Debut LP Conduit was critically acclaimed worldwide, including support from Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, Terrorizer, Angry Metal Guy (Album Of The Year) and many more.

The band have previously played at Bloodstock Open AirMammothfestDoom Over London, HRH Doom vs Stoner; and alongside EnslavedGrand MagusSolstafir and others.

A stunning listen, combining Opeth at their heaviest and most dynamic, Mastodon at their earliest, and Gojira at their most venomous, Mire is a step up from a band who were already impressing.

CONJURER have recently completed a four-date headline tour (selling out the London show), and booked for UK Tech-Fest and 2000Trees Festival. Prior tours with WeedeaterOHHMS, shows with Employed To ServeVenom PrisonOathbreaker, and festival appearances at Bloodstock Open AirDamnation FestUK Tech FestDoom Over London and more besides place CONJURER in rarefied but highly deserved company.

Dissonant newcomers GOD COMPLEX are riding high on the wave of their second brutal video, the claustrophobic 'Insignificant'.

Standing at a whirlwind 84 seconds, 'Insignificant' - premiering on Decibel - is available here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8brHbphYyRk

'Insignificant' follows on from GOD COMPLEX's debut video, the violent 'Hate Runs Through Me'. The exciting introduction to the blackened hardcore-tinged band had Metal Injection say "they're on a path of destruction that'll be hard to stop" with "a keen sense of down-tuned melodic riffs, catchy hardcore hooks, and unsettling dissonance to keep it constantly interesting".

Although only forming last year, the Liverpool-based UK band have already toured with Venom Prison and Corrupt Moral Altar, and played alongside Loathe.

THE PEARL HARTS' unique brand of rock set them off to a whirlwind start; they were hand-picked to open tours with both Garbage and Skunk Anansie within their first few years of existence and also won many media champions including the likes of NMEClashKerrang Radio. Being 100% DIY makes these achievements all the more impressive.

Having met on the road playing in former bands, lead singer/guitarist Kirsty and drummer/vocalist Sara ran away from their previous lives to become music outlaws on their own terms. Utilising heavy guitars, bouncy grooves and combining Kirsty and Sara’s wide-ranging vocals, THE PEARL HARTS create a unique and innovative barrage of sound. Influences of Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac and The Distillers are clearly apparent, but they have also been compared to bands such as Rage Against the Machine and the Beastie Boys for their attitude and grit.

With summer festivals and international touring to be announced this spring, 2018 is set to be a huge year for THE PEARL HARTS.

British Heavy Prog Psych Chiefs BOSS KELOID Reveal New Video for Anthemic Single 'Chronosiam'
Boss Keloid_4.jpg
Another gargantuan stride forward for the UK’s masters of weed-ravaged schizo-prog-doom, Melted On The Inch is insanely exciting, sounds like nothing else on Earth and confirms that Boss Keloid deserve (a) knighthoods and (b) the adoration of millions.
— Dom Lawson, Metal Hammer

British heavy prog psych chiefs BOSS KELOID have released a new video for their anthemic single 'Chronosiam' which is taken from their forthcoming third album Melted On The Inch, due for release via Holy Roar Records on April 27th 2018. 'Chronosiam' breathes an entirely new life into BOSS KELOID’s sound and was premiered yesterday by Metal Hammer Magazine here

The band comments: "The theme of Chronosiam is about personal endeavour outside of the comfort zone and having the courage to fulfil those paths in life that you wouldn't normally take. It's the realisation that there are no barriers holding you back but negative influences constraining you, and that you can embrace your true self to the fullest. Embrace life and don't be afraid to create."

After earning acclaimed reviews for Herb Your Enthusiasm (2016) and The Calming Influence of Teeth (2013), BOSS KELOID’s notoriety for producing heavy and magnificently multilayered music has continued to grow. Having joined Holy Roar’s outstanding roster the quintet is poised to continue the momentum that’s been building since their formation in 2010. Melted On The Inch is six anthemic tracks showcasing a matured, evolved BOSS KELOID, as the Wigan based quintet continue to flirt with new genres. These are undoubtedly the biggest, most intense songs Boss Keloid have ever written. This is their line in the sand and the results are inspiring.

Melted On The Inch will be released by Holy Roar Records in the UK/EU and Deathwish Inc in the USA on April 27th. UK/EU pre-orders are available here. USA pre-orders are available here

"We would like to invite those who are don't think women can sing rock to come down and find out for themselves"

UK rockers EVA PLAYS DEAD announce EP release shows & launch PledgeMusic campaign
Eva Plays Dead 2018 Resize .jpg

UK rockers EVA PLAYS DEAD have announced two release shows in Nottingham and London to celebrate their forthcoming EP The Fix, out on 27th April 2018 via Playing Dead Records

Dates for the shows are as follows:

26/04/2018 - London, Thousand Island
30/04/2018 - Nottingham, Bodega

Sticking to their DIY roots EVA PLAYS DEAD have also set up a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund the release, which has already hit 17% of the target since launching on Thursday 8th March. The band have set up Playing Dead Records to release the hugely personal EP in order to maintain full creative control.

Exclusive EP and ticket bundles are available here: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/evaplaysdeadthefix

EVA PLAYS DEAD have also released the video for their new single 'Get Back', check it out here: https://youtu.be/YsuKonDsBro

The band comment on the new single:

"Life - life doesn’t always seem to go to how we want it to and living with a mental health condition like Bipolar Disorder can make you feel like you’re stuck living inside your head. ‘Get Back’ has been a song that has become incredibly important for us whilst dealing with Tiggy’s battles with mental health during 2017. The visuals throughout this song and video are created by Tiggy from real experiences and emotions she has faced before ultimately being confirmed as having Bipolar Disorder. This song is just the beginning of our new direction and positive future - we're hoping that our new music and experiences will open up discussions surrounding mental health issues."

Raucous, raw, and topped off with frontwoman Tiggy’s thunderous vocals, The Fix is a reinvention of classic rock at its best. Listen for the peaks of track four, ‘Bones’, or the heady anger of opener ‘Spin’ – this is an irresistible no-holds-barred five-track barrage. An angrier release than its predecessor Sounds of the Written WordThe Fix is a highly personal release, detailing Tiggy’s relationship with bipolar disorder.

EVA PLAYS DEAD are a young band with an already impressive history: notable supports include SOiLNew Year’s DayAlien Ant FarmSkindredDevilskin and more, and the band have garnered the attention of Kerrang!Planet Rock Radio and TeamRock amongst others.
