Taken from their 2016 album Hawaii, 'Still Alive' is from the band's Live from Estudio del Sur sessions, and a new take on the original track. 

The band comment: “Still Alive is one of the most representative songs, and maybe the saddest, on our latest album Hawaii. 

"Capturing that feeling of hopelessness was a challenge both for the band and for the director of the video, Bernardo Quesney."

They add: “Sonically, it is different from the album version because it is much less processed. What you hear is Aisles' organic live sound, just like you would hear it at one of our concerts. Even the tempo of the song changed as a result of that search.”

Psychedelic doom has a new voice in newcomers MORAG TONG, who are proud to announce their debut LP Last Knell of Om, to be released May 18.

The track was first premiered on LouderSound, where Morag Tong also declared in their opinion the Ten Loudest Bands on Earth.

Unquestionably odd and instantly lovable, Last Knell of Om is ostensibly a stoner doom album but at heart an anti-doom record, the sounds of the genre taken to the nth degree. Slow, expansive, spacious sonorities meet a shared passion for musical experimentalism driven by a vocalist-drummer and a wall-of-sound approach.
 
Recorded in a studio at the top of a hill just south of London, Om contains the very minute traces of pick-up from the chart-topping Capital FM station. Similarly, opening track 'Transmission' begins and ends with recordings of birdsong – a link to lead track 'We Answer'.
 
Although not strictly a concept album, there is an impressive level of cohesion to Morag Tong’s Last Knell of Om. Heavily DIY, Morag Tong embarked on March tours with Tuskar and Sail, and put on their own mini-festival called The Local Fuzz. The band have played alongside Slabdragger, Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard, Earthmass, Monolithian, and more.

A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH have re-signed with SPV, with new music expected to be released in Autumn 2018 via the Long Branch Records imprint.

The band led by founding Type O Negative and Life of Agony member Sal Abruscato released their debut And Hell Will Follow Me in 2011 and firmly implanted their roots in the metal scene with the sophomore album Lay My Soul to Waste in 2013. Both albums were nominated by Revolver Magazine in their Top 20 Albums of the Year in each year of release.

On the surface, A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH are impressive. But you'll want to dig deeper and immerse yourself in all the sonic and lyrical layers, because the band isn't afraid to plumb the depths of darkness that humanity is capable of. It's murky stuff, but someone has to do it.

Frontman Sal Abruscato was born in Brooklyn, NY, and started playing drums at age 10. The co-founder of Type O Negative with Peter Steele, he performed on Slow, Deep & Hard, Origin Of The Feces, Bloody Kisses and various best of and soundtracks. Sal was also the drummer for Life of Agony, with additional projects including Supermassiv & My Mortality. Now the singer, songwriter and guitarist for A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH, expect new music toward the end of 2018.

Swedish rock outfit NORMANDIE have signed a deal with Easy Life Records, the label home to Lower Than Atlantis, Arcane Roots, Waterparks and more. 

After a huge response following the release of their debut album Inguz, the quartet will release an extended edition of the critically acclaimed record on 13th April 2018 via the label. Inguz - Gold Edition will feature the original album tracks, follow up singles ‘Ghost’ and ‘Pay For This’ as well as alternative tracks that were recorded at Soundtrade Studios.

"We’re so happy to announce that we’ve signed to Easy Life Records!" the band comment. "The label is incredibly supportive; it feels like we’re a family which means that we can focus on our music and know that we’re in good hands.
