'Journey to Narahmon' is taken from the band's highly-anticipated new record IV, released 25th February 2022.

Pre-order IV here: https://orcd.co/naxatras_iv

IV is the band at their creative peak, with all their experience put to use, and you can hear the first glimpse of the record with the exquisite new single 'Journey to Narahmon'. An expansive, mesmerising six-minute journey, with nods to Pink Floyd, Elder, Steven Wilson, the new track's wordless vocalisations, by guest vocalist Eva Seitanidou, demonstrate the power of Naxatras at its fullest.

It’s been almost a decade now since Naxatras first set out from the Greek north to carve out the path fate had set for them.

Since 2012, the group have been honing the rough edges of psychedelic rock, combining heavy riffs, heady soundscapes, astral melodies and a deep appreciation for groove.

Naxatras now return. The band have today revealed the tracklisting and awe-inspiring cover art, created by Chris RW, which you can view below.

IV is - fittingly - the first new music to showcase Naxatras as a quartet. It is a significant departure for the group, already celebrated across Europe for their jamming-based approach to psychedelia. The focus with IV is now more directly on songwriting, musicianship and composition - drawing magic from early 70s prog rock and master songwriters of esoterica.

The new album has gaps that only a keyboard can fill, so Naxatras welcome a new member to the clan: Pantelis Kargas. The whole operation of the band has changed - the previously trademark analogue sound has shifted to a more surgically precise approach, the orchestration multileveled and powerful.

Naxatras' musical imprint began in 2015, with their first album I. Recorded in a single day, the record was a best-selling underground sensation and welcomed with critical acclaim.

Shortly after the band went on their first tour, with live shows in Greece and five neighbouring Balkan countries. The second album - II - followed in 2016, with the same attitude in live performance, live recording, and fully analogue mentality.

However the road proved to be the band's calling - summer 2016 led to Naxatras' first full European tour, sowing the seeds of high anticipation.

An established act with the release of III, 40 more European dates followed, with a firm fanbase in every city on the continent. The album release show in Athens was to more than 1,000 devotees, a sold-out spectacle, and the subsequent tours included performances at Desertfest, Rock Im Waid, Duna Jam, Ozora and a series of appearances in Australia.

Naxatras will tour Europe in April 2022. Dates are as follows:

31.03. - Sofia (BG), "Mixtape 5"

Led By Lanterns announce debut album & release video for new single 'Good Enough' feat. Mercedes Arn-Horn

Debut album Paralysis due for release 28th January 2022

UK rock band Led By Lanterns have announced their debut album Paralysis, due for self-release on 28th January 2022. In light of the announcement, the band have also released a video for their new single 'Good Enough', which features Softcult's Mercedes Arn-Horn.

Check out the video for 'Good Enough' here: https://youtu.be/7ieWyzScabk

Stream/purchase 'Good Enough' here: http://www.ledbylanterns.com

The band's new 10-track release is full to the brim with bouncy hooks, heavy riffs and soaring vocals, reminiscent of You Me At Six, Don Broco and Normandie, all whilst retaining the band’s own shine. Paralysis also welcomes some familiar faces, featuring collaborations with Softcult’s Mercedes Arn-Horn (‘Good Enough’), Trash Boat’s Tobi Duncan (‘Alive’) and WAVED (‘Six Feet Down’).

Lyrically, Paralysis explores mental health and its many forms. The album is inspired by the situations that leave you feeling powerless, being trapped in your own body and mind, unable to reach out to those around you. Overthinking (‘Satellite’), managing self-expectations (‘6FD’) and accepting that relationships may grow apart (‘Disconnected’) are just some of the many relatable topics on Paralysis, that will connect with music fans across the globe.

A band who pride themselves on community, Led By Lanterns have created The Lanterns Alliance via Patreon, an online space where they can connect directly with their fans. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/ledbylanterns

As well as their Patreon, the band host weekly Twitch shows and have created a support network through Discord, which brings their fans together and offers them a safe space to connect and share.

In their short career, Led By Lanterns have toured alongside Normandie, Mallory Knox and WSTR. Their singles have clocked over 765,500 streams on Spotify, championed on Crash Course, All New Rock, New Metal Tracks and The Pit playlists – an impressive feat for such a young, DIY band.

The Last Ten Seconds Of Life release powerful new single 'Invictus Unto Fire'

Self-titled album out 28th January 2022 via Unique Leader

'Invictus Unto Fire' video streaming now

The Last Ten Seconds Of Life return with new single 'Invictus Unto Fire', taken from their upcoming self-titled album, out 28th January 2022 via their new label Unique Leader.

Pre-order the album here: https://orcd.co/tltsol

On the new track, the band state: "‘Invictus Unto Fire', the opener and tone setter of our upcoming self-titled album, showcases our drummer Steven Sanchez's introduction into the band and a new atmosphere of heavy for The Last Ten Seconds of Life."

TLTSOL now return to the fold in 2022 with a career defining self-titled album. Straddling the nu metal, rock, death metal and downtempo genres in equal measure, TLTSOL have created a magnum opus of a record that will appeal equally to fans of Korn and Slipknot as much as it will to fans of Alice in Chains or Pantera.

The band comment on the album: "The pinnacle of malevolence, crushing riffs, and unbound lyricism that listeners have come to love and identify with us. Unique Leader is the perfect home to release this monster and we are more than excited to work with the brand to deliver this album to the masses.”

A Pennsylvania-bred deathcore band with a relentless, ferocious attack – and a name taken from a Smiths song – TLTSOL emerged in 2010 and have since become a major name on the underground rock scene with their emotionally intense and physically punishing sound.

"an absolutely stunning album" - Alex Baker, Kerrang! Radio

Vocalist Anthony Diliberto comments on their debut album:

"It’s hard to put into words what this record means to us. We’ve been working on it and doubting ourselves for what feels like an eternity now, but to see it finally see the light of day is so much more thrilling than it is scary. We can only hope people will take the time to listen to it from start to end with as much attention as possible, and perceive just a bit of the blood, sweat, tears and love that went into it. We also want to say the biggest thank you to the people who support us, pre-ordered the album or just spread the word, and to our amazing team for all their work over the last year, together we are Resolve."

Pre-order Between Me and The Machine here: https://resolve.lnk.to/bmatm

'Forever Yours' follows previous singles 'D.G.G.R.S.', 'Surrender', 'Emerald Skies', 'Beautiful Hell' and 'Seasick Sailor', which have all had strong support on Alex Baker's Kerrang! Radio Fresh Blood show.

Resolve are a band that have been savouring every second of their journey so far and biding their time - observing, learning, building - and making sure that every single aspect of how they’ve wanted the band to function was fully realised before delivering it to the world.

Starting their journey back in 2016 after their previous projects parted ways and their intentions set on this being their forever band, vocalist Anthony Diliberto, bassist Robin Mariat and drummer Nathan Mariat have spent the last half a decade tinkering with the formula that feels the most suited to them. Making their first mark in 2017 with debut EP Reverie, before following with standalone single ‘Carmela’ in 2018, it wasn’t until 2019 that they felt truly at home in their sound.

That was in the form of Pendulum, a collection of three songs that not only represented the beautifully bludgeoning and densely expansive sound that was resting in the back of their heads, but also found them appearing on Spotify’s New Core, New Metal Tracks and Kickass Metal playlists.

When looking out for each other and soul searching feels more crucial than ever before, Resolve have put together a record that transcends borders altogether. They've created a universe littered with as much darkness as light and as much hardship as hope. Between Me and The Machine feels like just the beginning of a truly spectacular voyage to the stratosphere, but right now, it is the sound of a band making the most brutally honest and beautifully human music they can.

Resolve will support LANDMVRKS on their 2022 UK/European tour, joined by ten56. and Glassbone.

ten56. release new video and release debut EP

Fronted by Aaron Matts with members of Novelists FR, Kadinja, & Uneven Structure

'Kimo' video streaming now; Downer Part.1 EP out now via Out Of Line

Nu-deathcore quintet ten56. fronted by Aaron Matts (ex Betraying the Martyrs) and members of Novelists FR, Kadinja, and Uneven Structure, have unveiled their fourth single / video 'Kimo', and released debut EP Downer Part. 1 via Out Of Line Music.

Watch the video to 'Kimo' here: https://youtu.be/wXUjBRRLhK4

Purchase here: https://www.outofline.de/ten56
Stream here: https://ten56.lnk.to/downer

Aaron Matts comments: "'Kimo' is a track that we back-and-forthed internally on for so long, before eventually coming to the conclusion that with the right execution, sometimes less is more and also that more is always more *laughs*; we knew that we needed to push the bar to the very limit in how heavy we wanted this song to be, and felt that the visuals the track demanded would couple perfectly with the release of Downer Part.1 - We intended this first record to be listened to at full volume, from front to back, and for the user to really slip into a sense of claustrophobic discomfort and invest their energy into finding the many nuances of production that we spent so much time finding to take this record just one head above what is commonly found elsewhere.

“Please enjoy, and our appreciation for those that have taken the time is endless. Thank you."

On debut EP announcement and the decision to couple tracks with the videos, Aaron continues: "It was definitely a conscious decision to unravel and release all the singles in this order, just to show people that we’re not a one-trick pony. It’s honestly been the most enjoyable time I’ve personally had when writing and recording music. Downer Part.1 is a six-track, and it’s supposed to sound bloody horrible!

"The EP is surely enough to offer a little bit of insight into what’s to follow from ten56. and proves that producing a steady flow of tracks represents the band at that moment than sitting on a twelve-track for a couple of years, plus I have absolutely no patience generally speaking."

On the formation of ten56. and further plans, Aaron concludes: "We've been working on this silently for over a year and have a lot of surprises all backed up and ready to go; I can confidently say that no matter what people's first impressions of our first single may be, they should not be hasty to form an opinion until they have heard the whole upcoming record, each single is going to a shock to the system, that I am sure of! As for the guys in the band, it's been a help being in the game for over ten years, it started with Arnaud, then together we hand-picked from our close friends who we knew would be the perfect fit, and f*ck me we lucked out, everyone is so sick."

Party-slam legends Party Cannon get in touch with their felines in cat-themed video

New album Volumes of Vomit out 14th January via Gore House Productions

'Nauseating and Unpalatable’ guitar and bass playthrough filmed at Maison De Moggy

Scottish party-slam legends (and stuff of nightmares) Party Cannon are a band that never run out of ideas. Selling themselves as conceptually idiotic, musically gifted, legends of partying, and the band with the best logo in death metal, they've decided that what was missing from the world of death metal playthroughs was in fact....cats.

Ahead of their new album Volumes Of Vomit, set for release 14th January via Gore House Productions, the band ventured to the inner bowels of Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, to the infamous Maison De Moggy and in-line with Scottish COVID guidance filmed this bass and guitar playthrough for their first single 'Nauseating and Unpalatable’.

Premiered via Slam Worldwide you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/PmjehRgbv4c

Pre-order Volumes Of Vomit here: https://orcd.co/partycannon-volumesofvomit

Comments cat fanatic and bassist Clankenstein“We were looking for ways to make a bunch of guys sitting around playing guitar more fun to watch and there is literally nothing more entertaining than a large number of luxury cats, so it was a no brainer. It is also a fact that guttural riffs are good for cats and their health, there is no scientific evidence for this but it’s a fact. The idea of filming in the cat cafe came to me after seeing a nude calendar that was shot in the cafe. Huge thanks to everyone at Maison De Moggy in Edinburgh for being so cool and accommodating!"

A spokescat for Maison De Moggy commented on working with the band, "Miaow, purrrrr purrrr miaow."

Forthcoming album Volumes Of Vomit offers up nine chunks of IQ-lowering, slamming sickness, mass-gaining gym riffs, irresponsibly fast blastbeats, and the swampiest gutturals known to mankind and in true Party Cannon over-the-top style, is not your normal death metal album. This is fully fledged party slam at its most unhinged.

Produced by Jörg Uken (Defeated SanitySinisterAnvilDespondency) at Soundlodge Studios, Volumes Of Vomit delivers the most brutal sound of the band’s career. Raw, live and crushing, you’ll feel like you’re actually in the room with these terrible people - who brought in their well-known guttural friends Ross Sewage (Exhumed), Don Campan (Waking The Cadaver) and Andrew Lomastro (Cerebral Incubation) to assist in the madness.

The album cover and sleeve collages were handled by Jan Grotle of FLUIDS and Cochino Art.

Hailing from Dunfermline, Scotland and signed to Gore House ProductionsParty Cannon have subjected a large portion of the planet to their partying having frequently toured the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. Making waves since their inception in 2010, their debut EP Partied In Half is now considered an iconic release within the slam death metal scene.

Famously, Party Cannon's multicolour party balloon not only stands out against frosty-branched-logo-bands wherever it appears on gig posters, but regularly pops up globally. Make no mistake, Party Cannon know how to stand out.

Party Cannon are:

Stony 'Stony' – Vocals
Mike 'Exceptional Body Hair' – Guitars
Craig 'Shreddy Krueger' – Guitars
Chris 'Clankenstein' – Bass

Melbourne-based alternative-heavy band Future Static release their mesmerising new single / video for 'Waves', streaming now via Wild Thing Records.

Newly appointed front-woman Amariah Cook comments on the new single:

“The song resonates with many different experiences that we’ve all faced recently. From doing a whole lot of nothing, to then diving back into a fast-paced, relentless rhythm, with no certainty of anything going ahead. It’s all so overwhelming to even begin to think about. It feels like you're being submerged, drowning in an ocean, and you can’t get out, even though you know that all you have to do is sit up, breathe, and just feel the waves.”

Opening with thunderous drums, ‘Waves’ aptly crashes into a wall of searing guitars and thudding bass, paving the way for front-woman, Amariah Cook, to showcase her sweeping and eclectic depth. As the track unfolds, structure and dynamics are harnessed with finesse. Whilst navigated by the deft instrumentation of the band, the enigmatic vocalist effortlessly switches between her immense screaming range and hypnotic clean melodies.

Amariah’s debut performances turned heads, headlined by her charismatic personality, endless energy, spontaneous stagecraft, and incredible proficiency in both in harsh and clean vocals, which have a timeless quality to them.

To coincide with the release, the band will perform a number of headline shows and festivals throughout Australia in the next coming months, alongside Bad/LoveBanks ArcadeParkway DrivePolarisTrophy EyesThy Art is Murder, WolfmotherKingswoodTwelve Foot NinjaCaligula’s HorseCirclesDregg, and many others.

‘Waves’ will be followed up by a series of singles to be released in 2022, which will lead into the group’s debut album due in the second half of the year.
