Watch the lyric video to 'NARES' taken from the new EP here: https://youtu.be/R0MduZA9Hh0

The social distancing restrictions of the Corona era prompted The Hirsch Effekt to take a radical step: what if you not only recorded by yourself for the next release, but also wrote the songs completely alone? One song per band member. And so came about the concept of SOLITAER, which means "living individually" and thus represents the antonym to gregarious - Social distancing as a song writing concept. The opinion of the other band members was welcome, but required no necessity and didn’t need to influence the work of the respective musicians. In the end three songs were created - all of which showcase typical characteristics, that are part of the The Hirsch Effekt recipe, but do not sound like typical The Hirsch Effekt songs. It not only sounds like an extremely exciting experiment, but also frankly speaking: exceedingly extreme. The SOLITAER EP is rounded off by a band version of the song 'Gregaer', which was originally created as an orchestral version.

SOLITAER will be released as limited and serially numbered LP Edition incl. black vinyl, Exclusive Napalm Records Shop Edition incl. coloured vinyl, CD Edition incl. both SOLITAER and GREGAER EPs, stream and download. Also The Hirsch Effekt's latest vinyl EP GREGAER is now available again as a limited reissue with red coloured LP.

On tour with Lord Of The Lost Autumn 2022

Scarlet Dorn combine the elegance of darkness with the catchiness of pop. Free of genre boundaries, vocalist Scarlet sings herself directly into the heart of the listener. With industrial sounds, rock ballads and electronic beats, the band takes the listener on a journey through complex human abysses, the world of hope and sorrow, but also directly into the arms of life in all its glory. With her captivating voice, singer Scarlet Dorn exudes a variety of emotions ranging from gentle and tender to menacing and sombre.

Scarlet Dorn was founded in 2016 by the producers Chris Harms and Benjamin Lawrenz, together with the singer Scarlet Dorn. Not only through the release of the albums Lack Of Light and Blood Red Bouquet, but also through tireless touring with Within Temptation, Joachim Witt, Letzte Instanz, Lord Of The Lost among others, the band have already made a name for themselves in the dark music scene in those six short years.

Future Palace release sophomore album & video for new single 'Dead Inside'

German post-hardcore trio Future Palace have released their sophomore album Run, out now via Arising Empire. To celebrate the band have released a video for their new single 'Dead Inside', once again displaying the emotional power behind their sound.

Future Palace collaborated with Peter Leukhardt (Annisokay, Beyond The Black and Rising Insane) to record the music video for 'Dead Inside'.

Watch the video for 'Dead Inside' here: https://youtu.be/q8Kt-n91QDI

Stream/purchase Run in various formats here: https://futurepalace.lnk.to/run

'Dead Inside' explores a toxic relationship, not only the mark it's left on the past but how to deal with the lasting effects. "At the beginning of 'Dead Inside' there was the personal experience, that there are people who justify their behaviour by saying that they are irrevocably emotionally cold," says guitarist Manuel. "The track deals with a sometimes tragic situation both lyrically and instrumentally - it reflects inner turmoil, helplessness and anger at the same time."

"This is certain, the new songs not only sound different, they also came from different feelings," Manuel expands on the songwriting process. "We are therefore particularly looking forward to the live shows - because capturing these feelings in music is one thing, being able to share and express them directly is another."

After all, Future Palace's music has never been as multifaceted than it is on this album: this is music that wants to be heard and felt - everywhere and always.

One of the most aspiring post-hardcore acts in Germany, Future Palace signed to Arising Empire to release their debut album Escape in 2020, which garnered several million streams across streaming platforms.

Future Palace's sophomore album Run was produced by Julian Breucker (Beyond The Black) and mixed/mastered by Annisokay guitarist Christoph Wieczorek. Run explores the fight with one's own demons, the aftermath of a toxic relationship, and how the struggle with your own salvation is only the beginning, even after escaping from a dramatic situation. Blending the rawness of Holding Absence, Spiritbox and While She Sleeps with the irresistible, sweeping sounds of Bring Me The Horizon and PVRIS, the visually stunning and vulnerable record sets these painful processes to atmospheric post-hardcore, portraying the ups and downs of emotion.

Earlier this year Future Palace embarked on their first ever headline tour across Germany, followed by a European tour supporting Annisokay. The trio will appear at Full Force Festival and High 5ive Summer Fest over the summer, as well as tour with Battle Beast in August and September. POWERWOLF to release third single 'Glaubenskraft' taken from their livestream: THE MONUMENTAL MASS - A CINEMATIC METAL EVENT

Available on multiple physical formats on 8th July 2022 via Napalm Records

One of only three songs with German lyrics in POWERWOLF’s discography is 'Glaubenskraft'. Celebrating its “live” premiere via the cinematic streaming event THE MONUMENTAL MASS - A CINEMATIC METAL EVENT, the song proves to be a real highlight in the live band's set, ready to be unleashed to the masses at one of POWERWOLF’s massive tours or festival headline shows this year. The incredible sound production highlights this live version and turns it into a standout hymn for each fan of the genre.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/Hth9MJ76oys

The song, well placed at the end of the second chapter of the cinematic streaming event, called “Sin”, shoves a finger into the wound that the church has created for itself in recent years. The blank looking nuns in the video hovering while the band performs on an oversized burning cross speaks louder than any words.

All metal crowds will shout along to this banger of a song – whether they understand the German lyrics or not.

Pre-Order your version of THE MONUMENTAL MASS – A CINEMATIC METAL EVENT here: https://napalmrecords.com/powerwolf

At the end of 2021, POWERWOLF – the most successful German metal band to date – fascinated with a streaming event of unprecedented dimensions. Those who thought they had seen everything in the live sector were instantly proven wrong with unmatched audio production and visuals that can only be described as simply breath-taking. This summer, on 8th July 2022, this new benchmark for music streaming events will finally be available to view any time you crave. THE MONUMENTAL MASS - A CINEMATIC METAL EVENT will be unleashed on DVD, BluRay and many other physical formats.

POWERWOLF have stood at the peak of superlative, epic metal moments for years, but what they present with this streaming event surpasses anything seen before. After months of detailed work, a story was crafted and presented in several chapters based on the stunning music and elaborately staged cinematic scenes. All show effects, actors and stage settings work hand in hand with each other and bring the medium of live music to a level never seen before. From battles with clergy to stories of nuns, monks and burning angels, cinematic images immediately capture the viewer.

THE MONUMENTAL MASS - A CINEMATIC METAL EVENT is a live spectacle that unveils new details watch after watch, and cements POWERWOLF's status as the most outstanding band in their genre.

ABOUT POWERWOLF:

The story of POWERWOLF, beginning in 2004, reads like a true fairytale, but is the result of the most hard-working and entertaining live band on the heavy metal planet. POWERWOLF has not only received plenty of Gold and Platinum awards to date, but numerous releases have entered the official German album charts at the top position of #1. With Blessed & Possessed (2015), POWERWOLF achieved Gold status (in the Czech Republic) for the first time, while its predecessor, Preachers Of The Night (2013), hit the official German album charts at #1, and the incredible DVD, The Metal Mass (2016), came in at #1 of the German DVD-Charts. POWERWOLF's holy mass in the name of heavy metal is unstoppable – their latest magnum opus, The Sacrament of Sin (2018), again entered the album charts at #1. The accompanying, almost completely sold out Wolfsnächte headline tour – in which POWERWOLF headlined large venues with their phenomenal stage performances – became a single major triumph, as well as the numerous summer festival shows in which crowds were thrilled and completely captivated by the Wolves and their unique, (un)holy metal mass. With the new studio album, Call Of The Wild, and the Wolfsnächte 2021 tour charging through the largest halls in Europe, 2021 will again be a year completely under the sign of the wolf pack.

'Blackout 77' video streaming now

Banefyre album out 9th September 2022 via Season of Mist

Crippled Black Phoenix are proud to unveil 'Blackout 77', the very first track taken from their upcoming album Banefyre. The new full-length is set for worldwide release on 9th September 2022 via Season of Mist.

Mastermind Justin Greaves comments on the track: “A story of when, just for a night, the underclass, the downtrodden, the subjugated and outcast, all exploded in a rage when the power in New York City went down. The tension of years of oppression and abuse was released. For one night the freaks made themselves known and fired arrows to the sky. 'Blackout 77' is one part of our Banefyre, The musical journey. Fitting with the other tales and laments giving light to life’s outcasts, the freaks, the different. Who’s laughing now?”

JINJER granted permission to exit Ukraine and release surprise 'Call Me A Symbol' video

2022 summer festivals & 2023 UK/EU tour with Bullet For My Valentine confirmed

Progressive groove metal juggernauts JINJER have once again beat the odds: the band announces today that with the support of the Ukrainian Ministry Of Culture, they have been granted a special exemption to exit Ukraine in order to help their countrymen the best way they can – through music. This also means that JINJER’s upcoming EU festival appearances this summer are confirmed. The band will perform across Europe starting 10th June at Greenfiel Festival in Interlaken (CH).

JINJER bassist Eugene states: “We are very honored to announce that together with the help of the Ukrainian Ministry Of Culture, we have successfully been granted permission to travel abroad as ambassadors of our country to raise funds and awareness about the war raging back home. This is a huge honor for us as a band and as citizens. We will do our part to make sure that this war stops as soon as possible! Come support, dance and scream your hearts out for Ukraine!”

Find the full list of dates below.

Click HERE to see the special DONATION MERCH that Napalm Records and JINJER launched to help raise funds for the people of Ukraine.

In addition to this exciting news, JINJER released a surprise music video for 'Call Me A Symbol', taken off their latest critically acclaimed album, Wallflower.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/XzeNF7hf5lo

Eugene adds: “I think this video for ‘Call Me A Symbol’ will forever hold a special and unique place in our hearts as a band. Filmed on our short but awesome European Tour in 2021 tour that almost did not happen because of the pandemic, and now released at such a dark time in which our country has been invaded and there is war on the streets of our home. I really hope this video and this important time in history gives people a new perspective that there are always two sides to everything. Good and evil, just and unjust - cherish the good times and face the bad head on... but never ever give up.

In addition to JINJER being granted permission to exit Ukraine and playing EU festival dates this summer, they also announced new EU + UK tour dates with Bullet For My Valentine and ATREYU for 2023.

Holding Absence & Alpha Wolf announce split EP The Lost & The Longing

Holding Absence release new single 'Aching Longing' featuring Alpha Wolf

The Lost & The Longing EP out 15th August 2022 via SharpTone Records

Holding Absence and Alpha Wolf have announced a split EP titled The Lost & The Longing, due for release on 15th August 2022 via SharpTone Records (ROW) and Greyscale Records (Australia and New Zealand). The EP includes four new tracks, two of which feature collaborations between both bands.

To mark the announcement, Holding Absence have released their new single 'Aching Longing' featuring Alpha Wolf.

Check out 'Aching Longing' here: https://bfan.link/the-lost-the-longing

Lucas Woodland of Holding Absence comments: "We’re ecstatic to be announcing The Lost and The Longing, our split EP with Alpha Wolf! They are a band we’ve loved as people and musicians for years now, and we’re so grateful they wanted to drop this release with us.

"We can’t wait for people to hear our two new singles 'Aching Longing' and 'Coffin', too! 'Aching Longing' is our band at its heaviest yet, and 'Coffin' is on the complete opposite side of the spectrum… We are always trying to stretch our band into new shapes, and can’t wait for people to hear what we’ve produced with these two tracks!"

Sabian Lynch of Alpha Wolf adds: "We first met Holding Absence back in 2019 at the Impericon fests in Europe and we got along like a house on fire. We really enjoy their super catchy tunes and luckily enough they enjoy our heavy tunes. We talked a bunch over social media and kept up to date with what they were doing and when Lucas (jokingly) mentioned that we should do a split, it surprisingly just seemed like the best idea ever. We both released albums around the same time and it made sense timing-wise for us both to release new music at the same time. Working with them has been a breeze and we’d do it again in a heartbeat."

Scott Carey - Guitar

IV is the band at their creative peak, with all their experience put to use. It’s been almost a decade now since Naxatras first set out from the Greek north to carve out the path fate had set for them.

Since 2012, the group have been honing the rough edges of psychedelic rock, combining heavy riffs, heady soundscapes, astral melodies and a deep appreciation for groove.

IV is - fittingly - the first new music to showcase Naxatras as a quartet. It is a significant departure for the group, already celebrated across Europe for their jamming-based approach to psychedelia. The focus with IV is now more directly on songwriting, musicianship and composition - drawing magic from early 70s prog rock and master songwriters of esoterica.

The new album has gaps that only a keyboard can fill, so Naxatras welcome a new member to the clan: Pantelis Kargas. The whole operation of the band has changed - the previously trademark analogue sound has shifted to a more surgically precise approach, the orchestration multileveled and powerful.

Naxatras' musical imprint began in 2015, with their first album I. Recorded in a single day, the record was a best-selling underground sensation and welcomed with critical acclaim.

Shortly after the band went on their first tour, with live shows in Greece and five neighbouring Balkan countries. The second album - II - followed in 2016, with the same attitude in live performance, live recording, and fully analogue mentality.

However the road proved to be the band's calling - summer 2016 led to Naxatras' first full European tour, sowing the seeds of high anticipation.

An established act with the release of III, 40 more European dates followed, with a firm fanbase in every city on the continent. The album release show in Athens was to more than 1,000 devotees, a sold-out spectacle, and the subsequent tours included performances at DesertfestRock Im WaidDuna JamOzora and a series of appearances in Australia.
