The Dialectic announce EP and drop ferocious new single

The Dialectic are the epitome of pure American heavy metal and their new EP, Crawl To The Throne, is quickly going to propel them into the upper echelon of the genre. This Texas based unit could be best described as Lamb of God meets Whitechapel and this dynamic sound is clearly evident on their blistering new single, 'Murder Machine.' This track serves as the first glimpse into the aforementioned EP and its new video perfectly captures the band’s live performance intensity. The new EP drops 17th November via Seek and Strike.

Watch the 'Murder Machine' video here: https://youtu.be/02XL3U8ZuV4

Mitch Howie (vocals) states: “Our new track, 'Murder Machine,' just has a certain level of power to it. It was the first song we wrote for this EP and I remember us all envisioning performing it live. We just inherently knew how insane it would be to open up our shows with this. That's why we chose to do a performance based music video for it. Some may think it looks a little overwhelming and that's exactly the point. That's what we aim for. We want you to see us play and within 15 seconds of our first song say 'WOW, that is HEAVY!’

"When we wrote 'Murder Machine,’ the EP’s concept immediately started to dive into the pursuit of opening eyes to governmental corruption and politicians spilling innocent blood for corruption, without getting their hands dirty themselves. Every song follows this theme.

"The writing process for this EP started out almost immediately after the official release of our last EP, A Falsehood Defined. We strived to put more emphasis on crafting faster, more aggressive sounds that we leaned into on the last EP, but with a more raw feeling in the lyrics. We shifted our lyrical content towards subjects that really matter to us (military, government, deep state corruption) and began to make sure the whole EP really followed those subjects. The other songs quickly followed suit and the ideas really fell into place once the title track. 'Crawl To The Throne,' was written, and the lyrics had a certain emotional feel.

"We have soldiers go to war and destroy their bodies for the government’s financial gain. Only to crawl back home to be handed a piece of metal, just to be quickly tossed aside so that the new generations can follow suit.

"This EP is about the cost and reward (or lack there of) of going to war to fight for a government that doesn't even know your name."

Stream 'Puncture Wounds to Heaven' here: https://casey.ffm.to/puncture-wounds-to-heaven

The new single is the first glimpse of the band's third album, in the words of Tom Weaver, vocals: "vocally (and musically) the most ambitious we've ever been, but still feels quintessentially Casey."

The new single follows a joyous return for the quintet in 2023, including seven huge shows in the UK and Germany, and the limited release of their 7'' Atone/Great Grief (Hassle Records). Casey will also shortly be supporting Funeral For A Friend with Dashboard Confessional at London's Roundhouse, 15th October.

Casey, at its core, was grounded in the notion that music is a labour of love. Without expectation of success, without desire to attain stardom, just a shared yearning to create music - and when this no longer rang true Casey stayed true to themselves, and stepped away.

In late 2018, when Casey announced they were bringing the band to a close, it felt like a premature demise. Their first two LPs - 2016 Love Is Not Enough and 2018’s Where I Go When I Am Sleeping – had firmly established the Welsh five-piece as one of the most exciting bands in Britain’s alternative scene.

Now, years later, the band have returned - bigger and better than ever before. Casey don't just replicate the feelings that inspire them - they embody them.

UK black metal standouts The Infernal Sea announce new album Hellfenlic

UK black metal standouts The Infernal Sea have signed to Candlelight Records for the release of their fourth studio album, Hellfenlic, which will be released on 26th January 2024. Ahead of the new album the band have released their savage first single, ‘Bastard of the East’, with accompanying video directed by Morgan Tedd at Erase Creative.

Check out ‘Bastard Of The East’ here: https://youtu.be/ql8MGuA-D48
Stream / pre-save Hellfenlic here: https://TheInfernalSea.lnk.to/Hellfenlic

Comments The Infernal Sea on joining the prestigious Candlelight Records roster: "It is a great honour to join Candlelight Records, a label that we highly respect for not only their output, longevity, but also their commitment to supporting homegrown talent. The next chapter of our darkened path begins today."

The Infernal Sea have been a plague on this Earth since 2011, composing fierce and terrifying black metal from the Fenlands of England, conjuring compelling tales of English & European history throughout the Medieval period.

Over the course of several releases, The Infernal Sea have established themselves as black metal wraiths, identifiable only as shadowy figures exemplified by plague doctor inspired masks and shrouds. New album Hellfenlic, which is an Old English translation meaning 'a Fen of hell', is 8 tracks of seethingly raw, black n roll infused rage and follows their three highly-acclaimed studio albums, Negotium Crucis (2020), The Great Mortality (2016) and Call Of The Augur (2012).

Hailing from the East of England, an area of bleak, flat, desolation that echoes throughout their music, much of The Infernal Sea's storytelling draws from this area. New album Hellfenlic, centres around the brutal persecution of men and women by the most infamous Witchfinder General, Matthew Hopkins who was most active throughout the East Anglian area. It tells of his obsession, his religious fervour, his brutality, and ultimately his downfall.

Commenting on the new single 'Bastard of the East': "This single delves deep inside the notion of how incredibly delusional Matthew Hopkins, the Witchfinder General was. He was a brutal, sadistic murderer, who strongly believed that he was carrying out God’s work. He extracted false confessions out of many fearful innocent women, during a time of great paranoia within the Church. He believed demons were rampant, causing mischief, fornicating and spreading blasphemy. It was the Witchfinders’ mission to protect the church and the people from these ‘lies’."

Forthcoming release Hellfenlic was engineered by James Burke at the Noise Cabin with mixing and mastering completed by Tom Dring at The Arch Recording Studio and cover art by Khaos Diktator Design.

The Infernal Sea have continued to elevate their live performances with a terrifying and captivating ritualistic stage show, enthralling audiences wherever they may roam. This has included performances at key UK festivals such as Bloodstock Festival, Incineration Festival, Damnation Festival, A Night of Salvation, Reaper Fest, Cosmic Void as well as a whole host of key support slots to bands such as Anaal Nathrakh, 1349, Taake, Napalm Death, Akercocke, Nargaroth, Primordial, Hellripper, Tsjuder, Mork, Rotting Christ, Hulder, Strigoi, Abigail Williams, Arch Enemy and many more.

The Infernal Sea continue to impress crowds with their visceral headline shows including a string of recent sold-out performances in 2023.

Forming in 2019, South Of Salem's brief history is already impressive, building legions of fans even at this early stage. In their time, the band have supported WASPWednesday 13, and packed out sets at Bloodstock 2021 and Stonedead 2023. Even more impressive considering they first hit the stage in 2020, with their live career then immediately halted by the Covid pandemic.

Death Of The Party will only up the ante: an all-out hard rock explosion of classic heavy metal, 80s sleaze and horror, with elements of MurderdollsAvenged Sevenfold, and beyond. Recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The HorizonTwin Atlantic, and many more), Death Of The Party is a huge record: anthemic, dark, punchy and powerful. You only need to listen to first single, the floorfiller that is the metallic-edged opening to the floorfiller 'Left For Dead'. South Of Salem are a band here to not mess around.

Inspired by rock gods as varied as Alice CooperGuns N' RosesZakk Wylde, and Murderdolls, to name a few, South Of Salem also take inspiration from the horror genre, to present a new twist on hard rock. Vocalist Joey is an avid collector of horror movies, with over 2000 DVDs and VHSs in his collection; he also writes spooky children’s books, with four published. Guitarist Denis – an avid fan of Zakk Wylde – has roadied for the legend himself, and is also a vinyl collector. His prize record is a Type O Negative test-press of Origin Of The Feces, with a scratch and sniff peel-away sticker. Thankfully, it’s still factory-sealed.

ABOUT POWERWOLF:

The story of POWERWOLF, beginning in 2004, reads like a true fairytale, but is the result of the most hard-working and entertaining live band on the heavy metal planet. POWERWOLF has not only received plenty of Gold and Platinum awards to date, but numerous releases have entered the official German album charts at the top position of #1. With Blessed & Possessed (2015), POWERWOLF achieved Gold status (in the Czech Republic) for the first time, while its predecessor, Preachers Of The Night (2013), hit the official German album charts at #1, and the incredible DVD, The Metal Mass (2016), came in at #1 of the German DVD-Charts. POWERWOLF's holy mass in the name of heavy metal is unstoppable – their latest magnum opus, The Sacrament of Sin (2018), again entered the album charts at #1. The accompanying, almost completely sold out Wolfsnächte headline tour – in which POWERWOLF headlined large venues with their phenomenal stage performances – became a single major triumph, as well as the numerous summer festival shows in which crowds were thrilled and completely captivated by the Wolves and their unique, (un)holy metal mass. With the new studio album, Call Of The Wild, and the Wolfsnächte 2021 tour charging through the largest halls in Europe, 2021 will again be a year completely under the sign of the wolf pack.

Finnish metalcore eccentrics One Morning Left have released a video for their brand new single 'Neon Inferno (Paradise)', out now via Arising Empire. A compelling narrative of a passionate yet tumultuous love affair, this musical masterpiece intricately weaves celestial and hellish imagery, painting a vivid portrait of a love that is as divine as it is destructive.

Check out the video for 'Neon Inferno (Paradise)' here: https://youtu.be/IALoBU6GL-A

Stream/purchase 'Neon Inferno (Paradise)' here: https://arisingempire.com/neoninferno

The song’s lyrical prowess lies in its ability to explore passionate, all-consuming love that walks the fine line between creation and destruction. The 'Neon Inferno (Paradise)' becomes a powerful metaphor in this journey - it’s bright and captivating, yet burning with an intensity that could consume all in its path.

Founded in 2008 in Vaasa, Finland, One Morning Left are well known for their unique blend of electro, hardcore and metalcore influences as well as their entertaining and energetic live shows where absolutely anything can happen.

One Morning Left’s most recent album, Hyperactive, marked their first new material in five years. The fourth album welcomed a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic and video game music, as well as 80s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.

Irish thrash metal legends Gama Bomb reveal new single/video 'Rusted Gold'

Irish thrash metal legends Gama Bomb have today shared their new single and music video, the rollicking 'Rusted Gold'.

'Rusted Gold' is the second track to be taken from Gama Bomb's forthcoming eighth album BATS, due for release on 10th November (Prosthetic). 'Rusted Gold's accompanying music video directed by Kiran Acharya, features the band playing live at a series of festival appearances including Hellfest, Pitfest and Japanese Assault Fest.

Watch here: https://youtu.be/c_2xh8VIUSw

Pre-order BATS here: https://lnk.to/GamaBomb

Of the new single, Gama Bomb vocalist Philly Byrne comments: "'Rusted Gold' is a Thin Lizzy-style metal epic - it’s a western too, which I think Philip Lynott would approve of.

"I’m fascinated by the role of Irish people in the American frontier times: their story is sometimes overlooked, or reduced to a caricature. So this song is about an Irish cowboy, a refugee from the famine, who’s out for revenge on all the people who treated him as a second-class citizen. When you see how Irish people and culture were treated during the Brexit referendum, I think this is still a relevant story."

From the tombs of Egypt to the faded glamour of old Hollywood, Philly, Domo, John, Joe and James (Vader and Decapitated) lead us through new sonic landscapes and all manner of novel adventures on BATSBATS is an album that could only be borne from Gama Bomb; they have embraced their inner absurdities, they’ve taken a trust fall into each other's arms, relying on the idiosyncratic glue that has bound them together over the last 21 years to propel them forwards. BATS is the first Gama Bomb album to be entirely produced, mixed and mastered by guitarist Domo Dixon; utilising the remote recording skills picked up during various lockdowns over the past few years, recording for BATS was approached with a deliberately self-sufficient attitude.

Whilst the lyrical content veers into various different directions, the album is tied together with a 1960s-inspired aesthetic as demonstrated via the BATS artwork - serving as a visual tribute to the iconic design trends and pop culture of the 60s. The art was created by the legendary Graham Humphreys, the artist behind iconic posters for A Nightmare on Elm StreetEvil Dead and What We Do In The Shadows, now in his fourth collaboration with Gama Bomb.

John Roche (guitars) comments: “The accompanying artwork and inlay by the lovely Rory McGuigan are based on 1960s exploitation movies in the vein of Russ Meyer and other directors who didn't want to put their name on their films.” Longtime GAMA BOMB fan and accomplished painter, Kirsty Clark, takes the starring role on the album artwork - welcoming you into the entirely fictional BATS cinematic universe.

Sonically, Gama Bomb manage to stay true to their distinctive thrash sound, honed to perfection over two decades at the frontline of headbanging and fist-pumping. There are nods to heavy metal titans such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, there’s even a sliver of Bad Brains-esque punk attitude, and more familiar influences such as Tankard and Sodom are still evident. But if you think Gama Bomb are serving up something run of the mill then you’ve clearly not accounted for the guest appearance by Irish musician Gavin Kerins or a star-turn from hip hop pioneer The Egyptian Lover who raps on - naturally - 'Egyptron'.

GAMA BOMB tour dates:

In the newest offering from the alternative rockers, listeners are taken on a poignant journey through the highs and lows of chasing after one’s dreams. The new single magnificently intertwines melodic grace with profound lyrics that lay bare the soul.

'Carried Away' eloquently expresses the dichotomy of time – a force that both propels dreams forward and serves as a reminder of the hurdles that yet lay ahead. Each note, each lyric, invites listeners into a world where passion meets obstacle, and dreams are both a source of inspiration and a wellspring of tumultuous emotions. In the haunting refrains of 'Carried Away', blacktoothed provide not just a melody, but an empathetic voice to the silent struggles that echo in the hearts of dreamers worldwide.

Guitarist Mathilde comments: "Ladies and gentlemen, whilst listening to our latest release, let yourself get carried away by the highest note ever to come out of the vocal chords of a male person at Sawdust Recordings, according to our dear producer Christoph Wieczorek. Damn, Henni was hitting that G on the last chorus note like a pro!”
