Fans are eagerly counting down the days to the full album release, anticipating a collection of tracks that will further cement Sable Hills' status as titans of their genre.

Guitarist Rict comments: "The new song 'Odyssey' is the beginning of our long journey. We have a new member and a new label. Finally we’re ready to go. The song is very melodic, and also heavy. Very metal, and also hardcore. We’ll release this song with 100% confidence. So excited to show our new sound to you."

Sable Hills have captivated audiences with their electrifying headline tours, notably Chaos J.P. 2023, which featured the likes of Like Moths To Flames and Knosis, led by Ryo Kinoshita, former vocalist of Crystal Lake. This tour marked an important return to Japan for these acts after a long hiatus.

The band's ascent to prominence was ignited by their debut album EMBERS (2019), which received widespread acclaim and positioned them at the pinnacle of Japan's metal scene, allowing them to share the stage with renowned Japanese bands such as coldrainCrystal Lake, and international heavyweights Fit For A King and After The Burial. Appearing at major festivals Bloodaxe Festival at Club Citta Kawasaki and True North Festival at Shin-Kiba Studio Coast further enhanced their reputation.

The release of their second album DUALITY marked another high point in their career. The album's release tour, extending from Japan to Europe, included performances at Wacken Open Air in Germany and Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic. At Wacken 2022Sable Hills achieved an historic victory, winning the METAL BATTLE 2022, a first for a Japanese band.

In 2023, the band kept on striving forward, selling out their show at Spotify O-WEST and performing at major festivals including coldrain's BLARE FESTKNOTFEST and at Wacken Open Air for the second consecutive year. Their very own FRONTLINE FESTIVAL at Kawasaki Club Citta was a resounding success, attracting close to 1000 attendees.

Issues share love letter to fans in surprise farewell single release 'Since I Lost You'

On the heels of announcing their final six shows, pioneering prog-R&B outfit Issues have shared a surprise single called 'Since I Lost You', a love letter to their fans and ode to the last twelve years.

Bassist Skyler Acord takes the vocal reigns on the track, which have been honed over the last two years of pursuing his solo venture. 'Since I Lost You' is the exclamation point at the end of the Issues story. A statement from the originals.

Starting this Friday, the band will play six final shows in Anaheim, Chicago, and the band’s hometown Atlanta, and will mark their first shows since 2019.

Listen to the final, new single here: https://issues.ffm.to/since-i-lost-you

Purchase tickets from here: issues.ffm.to/farewell

Official statement from the band: "Issues has been a central figure in our lives since 2012. We’ve played countless shows, toured almost every continent, met thousands of people, and made so many friends in our peers and travel companions. The importance of this band to our lives cannot be overstated. So many of you were right there with us.

"2020 hit us as hard as it could possibly hit a band. Tours canceled after we paid the deposits, new album cycle cut short, and the last any of you guys heard from us was when we fired our singer. All of these were incredibly traumatic experiences, not only for us, but also the fans to whom our music means the most. Life changed for the three of us after 2020 in significant ways that made making Issues our full time job impossible, but it doesn’t feel right to end our story in tragedy. We feel very strongly that the legacy we want to leave be a positive one.

"These shows are the final chapter in a long history of pushing the limits of composition, musicianship, and culture in every way we could. We want them to contextualize our body of work over the controversy and member changes and gossip and bullsh*t and to stand as a monument to the three real muff*ckas still standing, the music we’re so proud of, and the fans still with us. If this band has ever meant anything to you we want you to be proud of being a part of this too. Proud of the gigs you’ve seen, the tattoos you got, the friends you made. So we’re putting this sh*t to bed in true
Issues fashion. Very, very loudly."

Final shows:
Jan 12: Los Angeles, CA, Echoplex
Jan 13: Chicago, IL, Concord Music Hall
Jan 19: Anaheim, CA, House Of Blues (Sold Out)
Jan 20: Chicago, IL, House Of Blues (Sold Out)
Jan 27: Atlanta, GA, The Masquerade (Sold Out)
Jan 28: Atlanta, GA, The Masquerade

Adored by fans across the globe, Issues have spent the past decade-plus breathing much-needed life into a scene that had gone stale in the wake of emo’s second wave. According to Kerrang!Issues are one of the 22 Artists Shaping the Future of Rock, alongside Foo FightersTwenty One Pilots, and Fall Out Boy. Artist of the Year, Best Vocalist, Best Live Band (AltPress), and Best New Talent (Revolver) winners and nominees, the celebrated Atlanta quartet never failed to deliver on the swelling momentous hype throughout their tenure. Soulful R&B hooks, neo nü-metal bounce, prog-rock smarts, and active rock are swirled together in passionate ceremony, bridging the gap between the theatrical shimmer of The 1975 and the heavy syncopation of Meshuggah with energetic ease. Hints of classic funk, jazz fusion, and modern pop swagger weave between pulsating rhythmic punch and guitar driven riff rock, without a moment of incoherence. Issues have mastered the art of the mashup, a genre unto themselves. Roughly three years before the release of their final album Beautiful OblivionHeadspace was the Number 1 Alternative Album in North America, following the success of the band’s self-titled debut, which cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 in February 2014.

Fans can expect more surprises from the band and special guest announcements leading up to their final shows. For more information on Issues, be sure to follow them at the links below.

Progressive sludge outfit Lord Dying release new video 'The Universe Is Weeping'

Portland progressive sludge masters Lord Dying have unleashed their new single / video 'The Universe Is Weeping', taken from their long-awaited new full-length, Clandestine Transcendence, which is released 19th January 2024 via MNRK Heavy.

Premiered via Decibel, watch the video here: https://youtu.be/9RGY82xhUe0

Pre-order Clandestine Transcendence here: https://lorddying.ffm.to/clandestinetranscendence

Vocalist / guitarist Erik Olson comments on the new single: "We are very psyched to premiere the opening track and video for ‘The Universe Is Weeping’ off our upcoming album. This song picks up directly where our previous album leaves off. Post death. Blazing beyond the cosmos and outside the realms of consciousness. Total dissolution of the self. Into Clandestine Transcendence.”

Bassist Alyssa Maucere, who directed and produced the video, adds: “When asked to direct the video for ‘The Universe Is Weeping,’ I couldn’t help but tackle the concept of the Cosmic Calendar. For instance, the Universe’s birthdate is January 1st. Life on earth = Sept 30th. Human history is Dec 31st at 23:59:57. We consume everything in our path as our sources of energy, some of which have been on earth for over 600 million years. If the past can tell us anything about life, a new life form could come along one day that decides that they can house us, raise us, and overfeed us to become their most preferred source of energy. Or we could just destroy each other before that day may come, which seems more likely to me.”

Lord Dying transform tragedy into triumph. From the earliest rumblings of their first demo and self-titled EP (both issued in 2011), through the piledriving force of Summon The Faithless (2013) and crushing despair of Poisoned Altars (2015), the band have conjured masterfully melancholic heavy music for the misanthropic, with grit and grime.

In 2019, they delivered Mysterium Tremendum, a record Kerrang! declared a “prog-metal masterpiece.” The heady and adventurous existential meditation on death kicked off a trilogy and that story continues in 2023 with an increasingly ambitious follow-up, the aptly named Clandestine Transcendence.

Lord Dying cofounders Erik Olson (guitar, vocals) and Chris Evans (guitar) are joined by Alyssa Mocere (former bassist for Eight Bells), and Kevin Swartz (current drummer of Tithe). Chicago Reader crowned Mysterium Tremendum“a beautiful meditation on tragedy.” Produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou (High On Fire, Code Orange, Kvelertak) at his God City Studios, Clandestine Transcendence steps even further into the great unknown, filled with riffs and vibes.

Clandestine Transcendence picks up where 2019’s critically championed Mysterium Tremendum left off. Latin for “awe-inspiring mystery” or “terrible mystery” depending on one’s view of existence, Mysterium Tremendum began a narrative centered on a central character the band calls The Dreamer. Olson describes The Dreamer as an immortal being who wants to die. On Clandestine Transcendence, part two of a planned trilogy, he gets that wish. “This one is about what happens beyond death,” the frontman explains.

Symphonic metal supergroup Exit Eden unveil new single / video 'Femme Fatale'

Symphonic metal unit Exit Eden, consisting of Clémentine Delauney (Visions of Atlantis), Anna Brunner (League of Distortion) and Marina La Torraca (Phantom Elite), reveal their final single 'Femme Fatale' ahead of the release of their second album, Femmes Fatales, on 12th January 2024 via Napalm Records.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/NxK46TGtQYA

Pre-order the album here: https://lnk.to/EXITEDEN-FemmesFatales/napalmrecords

Femmes Fatales arrives with twelve songs in total – half covers, half own compositions. The trio’s original composition and third single, 'Femme Fatale', was written by Anna Brunner and Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite).

Exit Eden’s new masterpiece follows their debut, Rhapsodies in Black (#15 DE album charts), and millions of video views (12M on their cover of Bonnie Tyler’s 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' alone). Their latest singles 'Run!' (feat. Marko Hietala/ex-Nightwish) and 'Separate Ways' (Journey cover) have already surpassed a million views since their respective releases in October and December 2023.

'Femme Fatale', as well as the album in its entirety, marks an illustration of strength and female empowerment topped with symphonic heaviness.

Exit Eden state: “When our paths initially crossed years ago, we were strangers and became friends, allies, sisters in crime… With the song ‘Femme Fatale’, we turned the tables, played with our own cards and established new rules. We set ourselves free from prejudice and limitations, embracing our true nature and femininity, regaining our power to stand as modern witches — resilient, liberated, we ARE Femmes Fatales.”

When Clémentine DelauneyAnna BrunnerMarina La Torraca and Amanda Somerville came together to form EXIT EDEN, topped by the release of their first album, Rhapsodies in Black, in summer 2017, it became immediately clear that this combination would be both powerful and magical. These four outstanding and independent female vocalists proved that symphonic heaviness can go hand in hand with pop music - dressing well-known classics in a yet unheard soundscape, and evoking more than just a covers album.

Now performing as a trio, EXIT EDEN's new full-length follows the path of its predecessor, as it contains six cover versions of famous cross-generational super-hits, but this time also shines by offering six original compositions. With one exception ('Dying in my Dreams', co-written by Marina La Torraca), the remaining five original songs were brought to life by Anna Brunner and Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite), who is also responsible for recording, production and mixing, whereas the album was mastered by Jacob Hansen (DelainAmarantheVolbeatDestruction and many more).

Femmes Fatales will be available in the following formats:
1-LP Gatefold MARBLED RED/BLACK – ltd. to 300 copies worldwide

Chart-topping Swedish rockers tAKiDA release new single 'Sickening'

Chart-topping Swedish rockers tAKiDA are ringing in the New Year with their brand-new single, entitled 'Sickening'. The song is taken from their massive ninth studio album and Napalm Records debut, The agony flame, set for release on 9th February, 2024.

'Sickening' is a musical stand-out, and marks one of the most intense, heavier-leaning tracks on The agony flame, a record rich with dark, melancholic lyrics and heavy tunes all at once.

Watch the lyric video here: https://youtu.be/A8MEUyUkKgE

Pre-order The agony flame here: https://lnk.to/Takida-TheAgonyFlame/napalmrecords

This new video arrives on the heels of tAKiDA’s recent announcement of their 2024 Smoke & Mirrors Tour, including an extended run through several major cities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Supported by Those Damn Crows, the tour kicks off in Germany on 2nd April.

Tickets are on-sale now.

Ever since their start in 1999 and breaking into the scene with their first studio album, Make You Breathe (2006), tAKiDA has become one of Sweden’s largest rock bands, garnering mind-blowing success in their home country with six platinum singles (one of them 4x platinum), three platinum albums and five #1 albums. In 2023, tAKiDA’s recent singles, cut from the upcoming album The agony flame, have exceeded the already extremely well-accomplished band’s previous international radio chart success, with 'The loneliest hour' hitting #1 on German Rock Airplay Charts, and 'Third strike' added to daily rotation at Antyradio - Poland’s biggest and most important rock radio channel. In summer 2023, tAKiDA conquered the mainstage of the legendary Wacken Open Air, performing in front of twenty thousand people. With the release of The agony flame in 2024, tAKiDA will not only celebrate 25 years of band history, but surpass their current success without the shadow of a doubt.

The agony flame embodies the distinctive, unmistakable tAKiDA sound, rich with infectious, huge choruses. On the new album, listeners get to witness some of singer Robert Pettersson’s strongest vocal performances to date.

Over the course of tAKiDA’s fruitful career, the band has regularly topped radio airplay charts, and their star doesn’t show any signs of dimming! The first track released from The agony flame, 'The loneliest hour', became the band’s biggest radio success to date by going straight to #1 on the German Rock Radio Airplay Charts after its release as a standalone single in summer 2023. In trademark tAKiDA manner, songs like 'Your blood awaits you', 'Third strike' and 'On the line' are loaded with emotion and unlimited hit potential.

More than two decades after the band’s formation, tAKiDA’s new offering makes it crystal clear that the unit’s pop-infused rock is still relevant today.

Casey release agnostic new single 'Selah' ahead of new album

Welsh post-hardcore heavyweights Casey have unveiled new single 'Selah', the final glimpse of their new album, How to Disappear, to be released 12th January via Hassle Records.

Pre-order How to Disappear and stream 'Selah' here: https://casey.ffm.to/how-to-disappear

Vocalist Tom Weaver comments: "This song was actually named by Liam [Torrance, guitar]; it was a word that I wasn’t familiar with, but I think it fits the song perfectly. 'Selah' is “an expression occurring frequently in the Psalms, thought to be a liturgical or musical direction, probably a direction to raise the voice or perhaps an indication of a pause”.

"I’ve had a turbulent relationship with religion throughout most of my life. I’ve always comfortably considered myself an agnostic, but in moments of desperation I’ve definitely sought out reassurance from a being outside of myself.

"My overwhelming feeling towards religion is that at its best it provides a sense of belonging and community; and at its worst it serves to absolve accountability. In moments of crisis, I’ve often posed that question of “If you’re there, why are you doing this to me?”.

"'Selah' articulates that question with examples from my life. Near-death experiences or moments of pain that feel as though they shouldn’t happen beneath the benevolent gaze of something greater."

'Selah' follows Casey's previous singles 'Bite Through My Tongue' and album title track, which have seen huge radio support from Jack Saunders (Future Artists), Nels Hylton (Future Alternative), Daniel P Carter (Rock Show), Alyx Holcombe (Introducing Rock) on BBC Radio 1; Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Upset, and many more.

The new album caps off a joyous return for the quintet, reuniting in 2023, with seven huge shows in the UK and Germany, and the limited release of their 7'' Atone/Great Grief (Hassle Records).

Casey, at its core, was grounded in the notion that music is a labour of love. Without expectation of success, without desire to attain stardom, just a shared yearning to create music - and when this no longer rang true Casey stayed true to themselves, and stepped away.

In late 2018, when Casey announced they were bringing the band to a close, it felt like a premature demise. Their first two LPs - 2016 Love Is Not Enough and 2018’s Where I Go When I Am Sleeping – had firmly established the Welsh five-piece as one of the most exciting bands in Britain’s alternative scene.

Now, years later, the band have returned - bigger and better than ever before. Casey don't just replicate the feelings that inspire them - they embody them.

Lord Of The Lost cover Turbo Lover by Judas Priest and release first ever covers album

Lord Of The Lost have revealed their covers album, Weapons Of Mass Seduction, wrapping up the band’s most successful year so far. Among other highlights, 2023 has seen Lord Of The Lost hitting #1 on the official German album charts, representing Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest finals, many sold-out shows, providing tour support to legendary Iron Maiden (once again), and now the release of their first full covers album - exactly one year after the release of #1 album Blood & Glitter.

Listen to their cover of 'Turbo Lover' by Judas Priest here: https://youtu.be/T8FbR4iupBA

Purchase / stream Weapons of Mass Seduction here: https://woms.lordofthelost.de

Lord Of The Lost do not show any signs of slowing down in 2024 – on top of their fast-selling “15 Years of LORD OF THE LOST” tour that is approaching in spring and two dates in the US, the outfit has already been confirmed for several big festival performances. Make sure to get your copy of Weapons Of Mass Seduction and grab your tickets for the upcoming live shows in the new year.

Lord Of The Lost state: "During the production of our last album, Blood & Glitter, while recording our Roxette cover 'The Look' in Finland, it had already become clear that we had opened Pandora's box. The energy and fun of covering the songs of beloved and respected colleagues and idols was something we were determined to continue. So even before the release of Blood & Glitter we started working on this 'covers album' project, which for us is the perfect dessert to Blood & Glitter, before we embark on the adventure of reinventing ourselves again for a new studio album."

Weapons Of Mass Seduction features a wide range of songs from different eras and genres performed in true Lord Of The Lost style, all surprisingly fitting for the band and hence forming a cohesive collection of covers. Classic heavy metal track 'Turbo Lover', originally by Judas Priest, meets modern pop hits in songs such as Sia’s 'Unstoppable', Bishop Briggs’ 'River' and Zella Day’s 'High'. Ultravox’ 'Hymn', followed by Michael Jackson’s legendary 'Give In To Me' and Keane’s 'Somewhere Only We Know', expand the multifaceted selection even further. With added rougher elements such as heavier vocals, Bronski Beat’s captivating 80s electro pop hit 'Smalltown Boy' gets a dark makeover in the hands of Lord Of The Lost. The unit’s cover of another legendary 80s song, '(I Just) Died In Your Arms', features a guest appearance from rising singer-songwriter Anica Russo, who also took part in Germany’s ESC 2023 preliminary round Unser Lied für Liverpool (EN: Our Song for Liverpool). An emotional version of The Pretty Reckless’ 'House On A Hill' closes Weapons Of Mass Seduction impactfully.

A special 2 CD edition of the new covers album provides a cross-cut of covers previously released or already covered live over the course of Lord Of The Lost’s career. Among them are the Roxette cover 'The Look' feat. Blümchen – already known from Blood & Glitter – 'Children Of The Damned', a homage to Iron Maiden, with whom Lord Of The Lost experienced intense times during the last two years, and the cover of the Finnish ESC song 'Cha Cha Cha' by Käärijä - sung by Chris Harms completely in Finnish.

Lord of The Lost state:
"During the production of our last album, Blood & Glitter, while recording our Roxette cover 'The Look' in Finland, it had already become clear that we had opened Pandora's box.

Grungy rockers Marisa And The Moths release video for new single 'Fake It Till You Make It'

Hot on the heels of their acclaimed collaboration single 'Won't You Come' with Sophie Lloyd, rockers Marisa And The Moths have now released the video for their energetic, soul-stirring grungy pop-punk anthem 'Fake It Till You Make It'.

The new single is a glimpse of the band's highly anticipated second album, due 2024. More information on this soon.

Vocalist/bandleader Marisa quips: "'Fake It Till You Make It' is the most up-tempo, pop-punk-infused track we've ever released, and we're all set for a video that's as fun and whimsical as the song itself. And then bam! Alex pulls a surprise sickie. It's almost too perfect, given the song's all about winging it. So what's the Moths solution? Swap instruments, of course! Peter (our producer/live sound engineer) as a drummer? Please, that's too mainstream. We decided to play a musical game of dress-up, with Liam playing me, which is a role I now think he was born to do. Green screens, intentional rubbishness, with a side dish of previous music video Easter Eggs–it was probably the most fun we have ever had filming a music video, and hopefully you all have as much fun watching it as we did making it!"

'Fake It Till You Make It' is a testament to Marisa And The Moth's ability to seamlessly blend raw emotion with an irresistibly catchy chorus.

The group have also announced a series of headline dates for next year, as follows:

May 02: Reading, Sub 89
May 03: Cardiff, The Globe
May 04: Southampton, The Loft
May 10: Manchester, Star and Garter
May 11: Nottingham, Rock City Beta
May 12: London, Underworld
Jun 07: Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Jun 08: Newcastle, Grove
