Rising nu-metal reawakening Profiler return with their most explosive track to date, 'Dope'. The new single follows the success of its predecessor 'Waste', which saw the band earn support from BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists with Sian Eleri, Kerrang! Radio, and BBC Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe, rapidly cementing their place as one of the most exciting names in the UK’s heavy scene.

'Dope' signals a raw evolution in the band’s sound: darker, heavier, and drenched in emotional intensity. With towering riffs and fierce vocal delivery, the track explores themes of manipulation and survival within the chaos of a toxic relationship. Singer Mike shares: “'Dope' is a track that is about gaslighting and manipulative techniques within a toxic relationship. It’s about getting lost within another person and re-claiming yourself.”
Known for their versatility and boundary-pushing songwriting, Profiler continue to carve their own lane. 'Dope' is a bold, angst-driven anthem that throws open the emotional floodgates and sets the tone for the band’s next chapter.
To celebrate the release, Profiler are proud to announce their first-ever headline show at The Black Heart in London on 10th December 2025. A venue known for breaking new talent and hosting future legends, this will be an unmissable night for fans. Tickets available here: https://myticket.co.uk/artists/profiler
With momentum on their side and growing reputation for hard-hitting, genre-fluid rock, Profiler are poised for a breakout year, and 'Dope' is the sound of a band ready to take the reins.

Swiss doom/sludge quartet Zatokrev have revealed their new moving single 'Pearl Eyes', a third fragment of their upcoming album, ...Bring Mirrors to the Surface, which will be released on 29th August via Pelagic Records.
Watch the video for 'Pearl Eyes' here: https://youtu.be/jAxE9ERJXY4
Pre-order ...Bring Mirrors to the Surface here: https://orcd.co/zatokrev
Zatokrev comment: "Our third single is another piece of the puzzle of a cathartic self-discovery from the upcoming album. It was a true joy to collaborate with our longtime friend Lio and his crew on the new, spontaneously and intuitively created video. They truly melted into our musical energy and gave the composition the natural, raw imagery it craved."
The monumental ...Bring Mirrors to the Surface continues the story its predecessor Silk Spiders Underwater... began telling in 2015, and features guest vocal performances by Schammasch, Inezona, Minsk, and Bölzer.
After all the detritus of pain, time, and letting go has been slogged through, 2025 sees Zatokrev return with an immense and immersive new (double LP) album: ...Bring Mirrors to the Surface obliterates the past and conjures a future previously unimagined, pleading with humanity to remember the power of the will and the imagination.
An album in which to truly lose oneself, these songs provide a candle in the dark, an arcane map, directions to the tearing down, and the painful realizing, as a means to metaphysical freedom. A beauty unmatched in any previous Zatokrev material has become entrenched in every aspect of this record. Moments of comfort flow freely into the deafening sounds: ...Bring Mirrors to the Surface encourages one and all to stare into the abyss of the self. Zatokrev have given us a musical grimoire. Sounds heard through the ages have congregated in a unique moment in time.
“Changes, recognize, release. A black flame splitting the ground in two, opens the gate to where we lose ourselves.”

The Las Vegas-based gold-certified, hard-rock titans, OTHERWISE, triumphantly return with a brand new EP and label home.
Some Kind of Alchemy EP will be released 22nd August via Seek and Strike.
To celebrate the news, the duo have revealed their new single and video, 'Stop, Drop & Roll (Doesn't Work In Hell)'. A hard-driving banger with a massive catchy chorus, 'Stop, Drop & Roll (Doesn't Work In Hell)' will quickly garner your undivided attention.

OTHERWISE have returned to their roots and re-embraced their classic harder rock sound, reminiscent of their widely acclaimed debut album.

OTHERWISE state: "Signing with Seek and Strike was honestly a very easy decision for us. The label was co-founded by a dear friend who has believed in the band and our message since our inception. He cares about us and vice versa, which is saying a lot for the music business.
“The first single, 'Stop, Drop and Roll (Doesn't Work in Hell),' was initially conceptualized years ago, in the midst of the Iraq War. We thought about the sacrifice of our fellow poet-warriors in military service and the lies that were being propagated to justify the actions of those in power. Another truly beautiful aspect of this release was our chance to reconnect with the incomparable Dave McMahan (our original drummer), who helped us focus all of that early fire into formidable performance art. The raw, sleek simplicity of those days was perfectly captured in the video for the song by its talented director, Lance Gergar. The intro gave us goosebumps the first time watching it. Plus, for me (Adrian) personally, getting to rock my balls off barefoot in a corporate elevator and NOT get arrested, is a hell of a statement!
"Returning to our roots with this EP is truly exciting for us and getting to do it with our friends and family at Seek and Strike is nothing short of righteous. We can’t thank our die-hard fans for all of their continued support and hopefully we’re hopeful to add a whole new legion of supporters to the fold with this next release. See you all soon.”
OTHERWISE have been an unrelenting force in the unforgiving trenches of the music industry, for the past two decades. Consisting of blood brothers Adrian and Ryan Patrick, the powerhouse duo behind the Las Vegas hard rock outfit, they’ve turned scars into anthems and stages into battlefields, earning RIAA Gold Certification for their breakout hit 'Soldiers' a modern rock classic born from the grit of the independent grind. Raised in a city of illusions, the Patrick brothers built something real: a fiercely loyal fanbase they call The Family Wise, bonded not by hype but by heart.
Over 250 million streams later, their legacy isn’t just loud, it’s ever-lasting. Through their nonprofit Life By Music, the brothers use their platform to give back, delivering instruments, lessons, and life-changing experiences to at-risk youth and veterans nationwide. Every note they play carries purpose. Every show is a family affair and every song is a battle cry from two brothers who refuse to ever back down.

Denver trio Fox Lake have just released their blistering new single 'Real Fast'. A band known for weaponising genre chaos into something razor-sharp and exhilarating, the track is taken from their upcoming new album New World Heat, out this Friday via MNRK HEAVY.
Since 2017, Fox Lake have been fusing metalcore, hardcore, hip-hop and rock 'n' roll into a sound that hits hard and refuses to settle. With 'Real Fast', they’re keeping fans guessing: short, savage and built around a sample rather than a riff, it’s designed to disorient and provoke, arriving like a punch thrown in a basement pit, raw, relentless and impossible to ignore.
Watch the video for 'Real Fast' here: https://youtu.be/ZVaLvrHwWcg
Stream the single and pre-order New World Heat here: https://foxlake.ffm.to/newworldheat
The band comment on the latest single, “‘Real Fast’ is the last single before the album release because we wanted to keep people guessing. There are songs on the album that might have more memorable hooks, bigger features, or a longer run time, but we collectively agreed that we wanted to put out something that would hit like an uppercut and keep people curious about what the rest of the record had to offer. From a songwriting perspective, this was a rare case where the song was written and conceptualized using the sample as the blueprint rather than adding a sample to an otherwise finished song. We wanted to write something "real fast" so the listener would never know what hit them.”
Reading the lyrics throughout New World Heat, Fox Lake reveal the redemptive theme at the album's beating heart, stating, "The basic concept of the album is about burning things down in order to restart. It's about who you are versus who you want to be. The world you live in versus the world you want to live in. It takes guts to strip everything away and take a hard, honest look at your life and the world around you."
Continuing, "Everyone has things that hold them down and things that seem to hold their reality in place. Habits, social circles, vices, beliefs, political systems, traumas, etc. Those things will be different for everyone. But the one constant is that action begets action and inaction begets inaction. You either drown in complacency or burn parts of yourself away to create a better world. We all have a choice. Musically, we felt like this concept fit perfectly with where we were at. We all have different inspirations that we want to bring into Fox Lake. It can be tricky to mesh together all the genres that we're inspired by while still having an original sound."
The band finishes, "So for this record, we burned down the limitations we had previously put on ourselves and restarted our writing process with a singular goal, to sound like Fox Lake. The end result is an album that we're extremely excited about and that feels very authentic to us. The music is faster, heavier, groovier, and catchier than ever before. It's a new sound for a new world. Everyone is going to have different opinions on whether the band is more hardcore, nu-metal, rock or metalcore. But everyone's gonna know it's Fox Lake."
To support New World Heat, Fox Lake will hit the road hard on a headline tour of the USA. Find out more info and dates here.

NYOS, the lauded Finnish instrumental duo, return with news of their new album Growl, and reveal the first single from the record.
Growl will be released 10th October via Pelagic Records.
Pre-order Growl here: https://orcd.co/nyos-growl
Watch the video for the new single, 'Get Ready', here: https://youtu.be/Pt3go7dpvvY
Comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen, NYOS are known for their immersive and often physically demanding live shows. The duo create massive sonic worlds using Brooke’s labyrinthine loops and atmospheric layering alongside Kainulainen’s kinetic drumming, in music that is rhythmic, raw, and eclectic.
Since their formation in 2014, NYOS have carved out a distinctive place within Europe’s experimental and post-rock scenes, characterised by their relentless energy, polyrhythmic complexity, and hypnotic layering.
While still rooted in their signature loop-based approach, Growl is “more ambitious with song soundscapes and compositions”, says guitarist Tom Brooke, naturally embracing a denser, more textured sound with greater attention to atmosphere and tension.
There is a palpable sense of urgency and propulsion throughout the record, aided by Brooke’s evolving, lush guitar tone and Kainulainen’s increasingly expressive drumming. A newfound openness in production, with the help of mastering engineer Guy Davie (Foals, Bloc Party, Nala Sinephro, Jon Hopkins) allows the layers to breathe, giving the music a spatial, cinematic quality. Shimmering loops and glassy guitar tones ripple through layered percussive patterns, evoking natural phenomena and surreal inner landscapes. "Growl is a real NYOS record," says Brooke, “zero rules, or concept, but just pure freedom.”
Throughout their discography, NYOS have shown an emotional and tonal shift toward ambiguity — a willingness to dwell in dissonance or delay resolution in favour of sustained tension or tranquil drift. These dramatic shifts can be felt throughout the album, in which the listener is escorted from vibrance to intensity, offering a contrast not in energy, but in clarity.
“We often have a vibe or some ideas we wanna try out”, comments Brooke. “The songs though basically come from jamming - we'll jam stuff and I record the jams, and then kinda backwards shape them into songs which we then re-record! So often the final structures will be set when doing the first guitar/loop recordings, but the ideas are always all there.”
The result is a dynamic and emotionally complex record that feels like a mature synthesis of everything that had come before. There is a joy in the interplay of Growl, even when the music veers into abrasive terrain.
“Growl is our longest record to date, and when producing it, we were very conscious to make sure it is an album that holds the listener”, states Brooke.
Throughout Growl, NYOS remain unmistakably themselves: their hallmark technical precision and sonic inventiveness are ever-present. Harnessing a vast dynamic range, the Finnish two-piece blend moments of fragile minimalism with visceral, precise, and emotionally immersive sound. “I think sonically it has all the characteristics of some of our works, but I think that we both feel like this record is the first time we've ever truly managed to capture everything we want”, says Brooke, “all the angles/emotions/vibes came out just as we hoped/imagined.”
As eclectic and exciting as ever, NYOS are a band in continuous motion, unafraid to challenge themselves and their listeners with ever-expanding sonic vocabularies. Growl is an album that is both coherent and seamless in its movement, walking a tightrope between meticulous structure and explosive energy.
In their time NYOS have performed hundreds of shows across the globe, including with Zeal & Ardor, Esben & The Witch and The Comet Is Coming.

Sweden’s Orbit Culture have released 'Hydra', their third single taken from their upcoming album, Death Above Life, scheduled for a release on 3rd October 2025 via Century Media.
Watch the Dune-inspired video, produced by Industrialism Films, Vicente Cordero with additional editing by the band’s long-time partner, Riivata Visuals, here: https://youtu.be/Kx3vRmXip5I
Pre-order Death Above Life here: https://orbitcultureband.lnk.to/DeathAboveLife-Album
The band comment: “With ‘Hydra’ we dove even deeper into the heavy tunings we explored on our previous single, 'Death Above Life'. Lyrically, it’s a raw and unfiltered track about cutting ties - direct, honest, and uncompromising. The song was written during a period of intense stress and frustration and channeling that emotion onto paper felt like a necessary release.
"Visually, we drew inspiration from the vast, cinematic atmosphere of the Dune films. That same sense of scale is echoed in the production - distorted, low-tuned cellos and thunderous drums that feel like something massive is coming. This is easily one of our most ambitious videos to date. We scouted the California desert to find the perfect location - no green screens, no tricks. What you see is real: just four Swedish guys sweating it out in the scorching desert heat.”
Orbit Culture have already released two songs and videos taken from Death Above Life, the album title track and 'The Tales of War'.
”The album represents change, a new beginning,” says guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. “It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth.”
Following their triumphant main stage set at Download Festival, Orbit Culture return to the UK this November on the Death Above Life tour. Catch them on the following dates, with Gaerea and Atlas in support:
08 Nov: Damnation Festival, Manchester
10 Nov: NX, Newcastle
11 Nov: SWG3, Glasgow
12 Nov: Stylus, Leeds
14 Nov: KK's Steel Mill Wolverhampton
15 Nov: Electric, Bristol
16 Nov: Electric Ballroom, London
Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own.
Orbit Culture’s 2023 album Descent and their subsequent EP release The Forgotten topped many year-end lists in 2023, including Metal Hammer who described the album as: “a formidable entwining of modern metal’s most effective and exciting strands into an impressive milestone.” Exhaustive worldwide touring and a steady stream of crowd-pummeling festival slots across the globe, have set the stage for something much larger.
Orbit Culture are a band poised. They are the sound of metal in the most modern sense.

Lord Of The Lost and Within Temptation have unveiled a music video for new single 'Light Can Only Shine In The Darkness', taken from Lord Of The Lost’s upcoming studio album OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, out 8th August 2025 via Napalm Records.

Together, Lord Of The Lost and Within Temptation have created a song that unites the complementary voices of Sharon den Adel and Chris Harms in perfect symbiosis. The track impressively expands the rich diversity of Lord Of The Lost’s ever-growing sonic landscape - a testament to their ability to continuously discover new shades within their darkly colourful spectrum, to embrace new perspectives, and to remain true to their roots.
Vocalist Chris Harms commented on 'Light Can Only Shine In The Darkness': “Shortly after playing the final show of Iron Maiden’s 2022 tour together with Within Temptation, the idea for ‘Light Can Only Shine In The Darkness’ was born – an attempt to create a hybrid song between Within Temptation and Lord Of The Lost, and ultimately a duet for Sharon and me. The fact that it actually came to life is a dream come true, because a duet with Sharon has been... no, had been, at the top of my bucket list for over a decade!”
Following the era-defining success of their #1 album Blood & Glitter (Official German Album Charts) and their celebrated appearance in the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Lord Of The Lost continue to push boundaries with unmatchable versatility on OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, the first album of an exciting album trilogy.
What is the essence of Lord Of The Lost in 2025? That is one of the questions OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 fearlessly begins to answer. Once again, the band proves not only musical excellence but also masterful craftsmanship: Produced by Chris Harms, recorded, mixed, and mastered at the legendary CHAMELEON STUDIOS in Hamburg, the 11 tracks hit with a force and brilliance that immediately transport us into a dark yet colourful ballroom. From there, the tone is set: Dark Wave Metal on an amphitheater scale.
Chris Harmscomments on the album: “Darkness, melancholy, loneliness - all words that often have negative connotations, that we may associate with danger, sadness and loss, and not without reason. But darkness can also be security, melancholy the warm and sentimental feeling of our memories, and loneliness becomes necessary silence, peace and inner contemplation. OPVS NOIR is a travel guide, or perhaps also a travelogue, through the dark sides of our inner world, which so often move precisely in the area of tension between what we emotionally categorize as positive or negative. And with Vol. 1, all of this is just the beginning of this 3-part journey...”
Lord Of The Lost will tour the UK in November with support from UK metal outfit Skarlett Riot and the synth-rock pioneers JULIEN-K (featuring Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh of ORGY) from the US. Dates:

Chilean progressive rock band Aisles return, with their first single of 2025: 'Blue Skies'.
Stream 'Blue Skies' here: https://farolatino.ffm.to/blue-skies
Right out of the gate, 'Blue Skies' channels the DNA of Aisles, harnessing the band’s experimental approach while referencing the melancholy of bands like Leprous, Vola and Muse. Guitarist German Vergara’s complex melodies hand off to Boris Seeder’s hypnotic chorus, over distorted riffs and head-nodding drums. The track was produced by Vergara and Fernando Cubillos, and mixed and mastered by engineer Jacob Hansen (Vola).
Vergara elaborates, “This is the first song we worked as a full band since Boris joined a year ago. We feel empowered with this new lineup and the new music we have made together. 'Blue Skies' is a song about how someone thinks about the person they love, without knowing where they are or how they are. Due to unknown circumstances, these two people are separated. It's a love song about the value of inner life and subjectivity.”
If that's not enough, Aisles have shared another treat with their fans - the announcement of a UK tour with five dates across the country, including a performance at HRH Prog Festival.
Dates:
9 November 2025 | Bannermans – Edinburgh TICKETS
11 November 2025 | The 1865 – Southampton TICKETS
12 November 2025 |The Fiddler’s Elbow – London TICKETS
13 November 2025 | Corporation – Sheffield TICKETS
15 November 2025 | HRH Prog Festival – Great Yarmouth SOLD OUT
Having released five highly acclaimed studio albums, progressive rock band AISLES have created an unparalleled musical approach that combines intricate melodies and sonic openness. They have toured the Americas, Europe, and performed with prog legends Marillion, Focus, and Riverside.
In 2005, AISLES released their debut album, The Yearning, recognized for its elegant and delicate melodic work. In 2009, their second album, In Sudden Walks, inspired by existential literature and theatre, was nominated for Best Foreign Record at the Prog Awards in Italy. Their third record, 4:45 AM (2013) was ranked among the best albums of that year in numerous publications specialized in progressive rock.
Their fourth studio album, Hawaii (2016), a conceptual double album that narrates the life of humanity in space after the destruction of the Earth, was called a “masterpiece”. The success of the album allowed AISLES to tour in Europe, the United States and Mexico.
In 2018, they released the EP Live from Estudio del Sur, complemented by four live-recorded videos available on YouTube. The band released their fifth album, Beyond Drama, on April 5, 2023, after the departure of three members and the reconfiguration of the group. On June 30, 2023, AISLES released the instrumental suite Bahamut, inspired by the science fiction novel of the same name written by Chilean author Francisco Ortega. On May 2024, they released the EP Obras de Los Jaivas, where they tribute Chilean prog folk group Los Jaivas, featuring four guest singers - and closed the year with new single 'The Dream', introducing new vocalist Boris Seeder.

Explosive and rebellious band Dogma release the official video for 'Be Free', a "lost" track from their debut album that marks a key moment in vocalist Lilith’s early transformation.
Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/3GtlEw8Eeno
Stream here: https://ffm.to/dogmabefree
The video invites us into the subconscious: Lilith lies asleep, trapped in a dream. A dark entity begins to seduce her, a being that doesn’t force, but whispers. It doesn’t command, but lingers. This shadow moves through her body and her doubts, trying to awaken something deeper than fear: desire.
As the nightmare unfolds, Lilith watches her closest companions align with the entity, as if seduced by something she still resists. The chase becomes existential. Is this corruption? Or revelation?
'Be Free' is not about pleasure. It’s about what comes before it: fear, resistance, and the quiet urge to disobey. When Lilith finally wakes up, she is not liberated yet… but she is marked.
Musically, 'Be Free' is Dogma's only ballad, but it is no less dangerous. Beneath its slower tempo and melodic softness lies a tension that never resolves. The song breathes, trembles, and dares the listener to find themselves in the same dream.
Dogma have also released a Scarlet Blood/Black Mass Drip variant of their self-titled album, which can be worshiped here: https://ffm.to/scarletblood
Having ignited South America with fire and flesh, Dogma returns to desecrate European soil beginning on 30th July including two sold out UK headline shows and a performance at Bloodstock Open Air. Dates are below:
30 Jul: Wacken, Germany - Wacken Open Air 2025
1 Aug: Tilburg, NL -Little Devil (Sold Out)
2 Aug: Köln, Germany - Helios 37
3 Aug: Frankfurt, Germany - Nachtleben
4 Aug: Berlin, Germany - Berghain Kantine
8 Aug: Utrecht, NL - dB’s
10 Aug: Walton-on-Trent, UK - Bloodstock Open Air 2025
11 Aug: Glasgow, UK - Audio (Sold Out)
12 Aug: London, UK - The Black Heart (Sold Out)
14 Aug: Carhaix-Plouguer, France - Motocultor Festival 2025
Born from the union of heavy metal and unapologetic sensuality, Dogma is less a band and more an exorcism. Their performances bleed theatrics and throb with tension — an altar where riffs reign, inhibitions collapse, and every beat is a confession.
In their church, there is no shame — only truth.
No penance — only passion.
No gods — only Dogma.
Kneel if you must... but it is not to pray.
