Pioneers of modern progressive, instrumental rock, INTERVALS, have unveiled a video for 'mnemonic' ahead of their UK / EU headline tour later this year. The 'mnemonic' video is a compilation of footage taken from 12 shows across the memory palace US Tour in March / April of 2025.

On the video, guitarist and band leader Aaron Marshall commented: "We did the Memory Palace US headliner earlier this year, and our media wizard brethren, Paxton Powell, cut this super sick live music video together for 'mnemonic'. We had such a great time on this tour with VOLA & Arch Echo, and the shows were so fun. Let's keep this energy going across the EU & UK this fall with our friends in The Intersphere!"

On returning to Europe to headline, he continues: "I'm so excited to FINALLY be returning to Europe & The UK this fall for our first headline tour in the region since we came over for Download Festival in 2019! We've been trying to get back over for a while now, and I know it's frustrating to have seen us playing all over North America and places like Australia and Japan, but we got a taste again this summer at Radar Festival in Manchester, and we are SO ready to be back. This tour also includes an appearance at Euroblast which I'm really stoked omn. We'll be playing a healthy amount of tunes from Memory Palace, as well as Circadian, and a ton of other music from the catalogue. I can't wait for these shows!"

German metal outfit Unprocessed are back with a statement of intent with their upcoming album Angel,  which is due for release on Halloween 2025 (31st October).

The brand new video/single 'Solara', featuring Zelli of Paleface Swiss, combines a fresh industrial yet electronic approach with the signature Unprocessed downtuned riffage. The combined vocal performances of Manuel and Zelli create one of the album’s most striking moments. The track gives Zelli space to explore a different side of his vocal approach, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that is sure to turn heads.

Unprocessed comment on 'Solara' and the collaboration with Zelli: "With 'Solara' we were able to bring worlds together, leaning more into metalcore while maintaining our core essence, bringing in drum and bass influences for the first time. This track also features one of our absolute favourite vocalists of the scene- Zelli. His flow, timbre and lyricism is nothing short of amazing and we’re proud to present it to the world!"

Zelli adds: "I love Unprocessed, the boys and their music. What I enjoyed most about this project was that we worked on it hand in hand. It wasn’t just a matter of sending files back and forth; it was a true collaboration. I love that we were able to blend two genres in a way no one really had before. And the best part? I got to put my vocals on music I’d never worked with before. That’s always the most exciting part of a feature. Shooting the music video in the Swiss Alps made this whole project even better."

This announcement comes ahead of the the band's performance at Arctangent Festival on Saturday 17th August.

Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.

The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: "This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany - it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of "Angel" in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we've ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.”

The band’s previous album, ...and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).

In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. After a nine years hiatus as a solo artist, Glenn Hughes is back with Chosen, his brand-new solo record: an album which presents Glenn in his most hard rockin’ fashion. An explosive record that offers Glenn Hughes at its absolute best with a state-of-the-art album, both from a songwriting and production standpoint. A truly captivating return.
 
Glenn Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, The Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.
 
Glenn Hughes first found success in the early '70s with the band Trapeze, before joining Deep Purple in 1973 during a pivotal lineup change that introduced him and David Coverdale to the group. Despite initial scepticism, the revamped band silenced critics with the release of Burn (1974), a powerful album that revitalized Purple’s sound and remains a classic.
 
During this era, the band headlined the iconic California Jam in front of over 300,000 fans, toured the world aboard their private jet The Starship, and released two more studio albums, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band, before disbanding in 1976.
 
Glenn's first solo album Play Me Out was released in 1977. He joined former Pat Travers guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall, which released an acclaimed self-titled album in 1982. Throughout the '80s and '90s, Glenn Hughes made countless guest appearances (both credited and un-credited) as a vocalist, bass guitarist or songwriter on other artists' albums. The endless list includes - among others - Gary Moore, John Norum, and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.
 
Since 1992, Glenn has started a prolific solo career with a dozen studio albums where he explored all the different sides of his songwriting and influences: from hard rock to funk and more contemporary sounds. He collaborated - among others - with such musicians as Chad Smith (RHCP), Dave Navarro, and John Frusciante.
 
He also founded or took part in some amazing musical alliances such as California Breed (with Jason Bonham and Andrew Watt), Black Country Communion (with Joe Bonamassa) and The Dead Daisies.
 
Glenn has collaborated with Robbie Williams on his new single 'Rocket', which was released on 22nd May 2025. The track also features a collaboration from Tony Iommi and will be the first time Glenn has been featured on a record with Tony since 2005, when they released 'Fused' together.
 
Glenn Hughes has also recently joined forces with Satch Vai, a new collaboration by legendary guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, by writing and singing on their new single 'I Wanna Play My Guitar'.

Chilean progressive rock band Aisles have revealed the video for their new single 'Blue Skies'.

Right out of the gate, 'Blue Skies' channels the DNA of Aisles, harnessing the band’s experimental approach while referencing the melancholy of bands like Leprous, Vola and Muse. Guitarist German Vergara’s complex melodies hand off to Boris Seeder’s hypnotic chorus, over distorted riffs and head-nodding drums. The track was produced by Vergara and Fernando Cubillos, and mixed and mastered by engineer Jacob Hansen (Vola).
 
Vergara elaborates, “This is the first song we worked as a full band since Boris joined a year ago. We feel empowered with this new lineup and the new music we have made together. 'Blue Skies' is a song about how someone thinks about the person they love, without knowing where they are or how they are. Due to unknown circumstances, these two people are separated. It's a love song about the value of inner life and subjectivity.”

Aisles will be returning to the UK in November, including a performance at HRH Prog Festival.

Having released five highly acclaimed studio albums, progressive rock band AISLES have created an unparalleled musical approach that combines intricate melodies and sonic openness. They have toured the Americas, Europe, and performed with prog legends Marillion, Focus, and Riverside.
 
In 2005, AISLES released their debut album, The Yearning, recognized for its elegant and delicate melodic work. In 2009, their second album, In Sudden Walks, inspired by existential literature and theatre, was nominated for Best Foreign Record at the Prog Awards in Italy. Their third record, 4:45 AM (2013) was ranked among the best albums of that year in numerous publications specialized in progressive rock.
 
Their fourth studio album, Hawaii (2016), a conceptual double album that narrates the life of humanity in space after the destruction of the Earth, was called a “masterpiece”. The success of the album allowed AISLES to tour in Europe, the United States and Mexico.
 
In 2018, they released the EP Live from Estudio del Sur, complemented by four live-recorded videos available on YouTube. The band released their fifth album, Beyond Drama, on April 5, 2023, after the departure of three members and the reconfiguration of the group. On June 30, 2023, AISLES released the instrumental suite Bahamut, inspired by the science fiction novel of the same name written by Chilean author Francisco Ortega. On May 2024, they released the EP Obras de Los Jaivas, where they tribute Chilean prog folk group Los Jaivas, featuring four guest singers - and closed the year with new single 'The Dream', introducing new vocalist Boris Seeder.
