The Hunna's vocalist Ryan comments: "'bloom' follows on from the first single 'hide & seek'. it’s a story about the raw gritty parts to love, life & relationships. are we able to see past any triggers or past trauma’s we faced for what they are? & do we have the courage to confront them?"

About the EP, he continues: "Our first ever EP blue transitions is a set of powerful, melancholic songs taking a deeper look into the transformations & changes that occur naturally in life between two individuals. The transitional moments & mechanisms that can play out all underlined by different complexions of blue signifying sadness yet also grace in the face of such difficult moments."

The Hunna, formed by Jack Metcalfe, Ryan Potter, and Daniel Dorney, burst onto the scene in 2015 with standout singles 'Bonfire' and 'She’s Casual', followed by their explosive debut album, 100, in 2016, which secured their first top 20 record, reaching number 13 on the UK album chart.

Bolstered by global fan support, the band swiftly earned major festival slots, including headlining the Festival Republic Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival and performing a secret set that attracted one of the largest crowds to date. They also performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, All Points East, and festivals across Europe and North America, alongside their own sold-out tours.

Between 2017 and 2018, the band’s second album, Dare, climbed to number 12 on the UK album chart, sparking a sold-out tour in Australia and further sold-out shows across the UK and Europe. Notable achievements included selling out Brixton Academy three times, as well as Camden Roundhouse, Rock City, Manchester Apollo, and other prominent venues. In the US, they achieved success with multiple sold-out performances at iconic venues like The Troubadour in Los Angeles, Mercury Lounge, and Webster Hall in New York.

For their third album, I’d Rather Die Than Let You In, The Hunna collaborated with renowned producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Goldfinger, Twenty One Pilots, All Time Low) in Calabasas, working alongside artists such as Travis Barker (Blink-182), Josh Dun (Twenty One Pilots), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Phem, and others. The trio followed this in 2022 with their self-titled album The Hunna, partnering with Grammy Award-winning producer Gil Norton. Adored by their loyal fanbase of nearly a decade, this album marked a significant new chapter for the band.

Now, in 2025, after a few years without new music, The Hunna return with renewed energy and their signature powerful sound, with new EP blue transitions.

CONJURER will be joined by Frail Body across Europe. Full dates can be found at https://www.conjureruk.com/live

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.

Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary.

These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.

Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense.

A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before.

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

Swedish metalcore heavyweights ADEPT reveal new single 'Parting Ways'

Photo Credit: Pontus Gustavsson & Martin Öberg

Nine years after their last album, Swedish metalcore legends ADEPT are back stronger than ever, unleashing another new single from their long-awaited fifth album, Blood Covenant, which is released 24th October 2025 via Napalm Records. 'Parting Ways' is a cathartic anthem built upon pummelling chugs, and serene, soaring melodies, putting their virtuosic songwriting command on full display. Arriving soon before their next string of European festival appearances at Reload, Summer Breeze Open Air and Rock The Lakes, 'Parting Ways' holds no punches, and neither do ADEPT.

'Parting Ways' follows ADEPT's previous explosive singles, 'Ignore The Sun', 'Heaven' and 'You'.

Stream the singles here: https://lnk.to/Adept-Blood-Covenant
Pre-order the album here: https://lnk.to/Adept-Blood-Covenant/napalmrecords

Of 'Parting Ways', the band comment: "‘Parting Ways’ is hard and melodic, blending new elements with the core sound that defines us. It’s a track that allowed us to push our boundaries while staying true to who we are, and we’re genuinely proud of how it turned out. We can’t wait to share it."

Formed in the early 2000s in Trosa, Sweden, ADEPT helped shape the early European metalcore landscape, rising to prominence through passionate songwriting, high-octane shows, and raw emotional energy. Following their fiery comeback at Core Fest 2024 and numerous explosive festival performances, the band now unveils Blood Covenant, redefining their sound with sharpened aggression, cinematic scope, and lyrical depth.

Drenched in vivid hues of red, Blood Covenant is a raw, unflinching reflection on scars carried, battles fought, and the hunger to feel something genuine. Opening with the intense title track 'Blood Covenant', the album sets a brooding tone that echoes through the record. 'Heaven', drags the listener through a storm of guilt and fast-paced riffs, while the hard-hitting 'Define Me' follows with an imposing attitude and snapping aggression, underlining its uncompromising message of self-reclamation. Both tracks are marked by ADEPT’s signature blend of emotional intensity and unrelenting breakdowns. 'YOU' dives deep into the emotional wreckage of love lost, with swelling, cathartic guitar leads and honest, bleeding heart lyricism. 'Time Is a Destroyer' pulses with urgency and existential dread, unfolding over a haunting acoustic backdrop accented by swelling strings, while 'Parting Ways' channels melodic death metal energy, shifting seamlessly between soaring clean vocals and anguished shouts, capturing a moment of vulnerability wrapped in restrained heaviness and reflection. 'Filthy Tongue' dives headfirst into brooding industrial terrain, fusing harsh textures and hypnotic rhythms into a raw, relentless beast. Tracks like 'Ignore the Sun' lean into darker, more cinematic territory, introducing eerie ambient layers and post-metal textures that enhance the record’s emotional complexity. 'The Rapture of Dust', the album’s closer, collapses the record into a final, sweeping moment of reflection - crushing and beautiful in equal measure.

With a legacy spanning two decades, ADEPT are currently crushing stages at massive festivals across Europe like Nova Rock and Summer Breeze Open Air. The Swedish heavyweights indisputably stand at the threshold of their most vital chapter yet. As they prepare to embark on their massive 20-Year Anniversary Tour this winter, Blood Covenant doesn’t just mark a comeback. It redefines the band - scarred but unshaken, and more inspired than ever.

We've been trying to get back over for a while now, and I know it's frustrating to have seen us playing all over North America and places like Australia and Japan, but we got a taste again this summer at Radar Festival in Manchester, and we are SO ready to be back. This tour also includes an appearance at Euroblast which I'm really stoked omn. We'll be playing a healthy amount of tunes from Memory Palace, as well as Circadian, and a ton of other music from the catalogue. I can't wait for these shows!"

Through the progressive, instrumental rock project, INTERVALSAaron Marshall has long been considered an innovator. He’s built a career on trusting his instincts, even when that intuition has led him down a road that is decidedly less travelled. That may mean tearing down genre norms, finding creative ways to interact with fans, or a commitment to self-releasing music even when label opportunities are readily available to him. Marshall has bet on himself continuously, and backed that gamble up with hard work, unparalleled creativity, and an uncompromising desire to make each INTERVALS release a pivotal moment in the lineage of instrumental rock. On INTERVALS’ latest record, memory palaceMarshall continues to push the limit at every turn, resulting in arguably the most dynamic record in the band’s highly-revered catalogue.

German modern metal outfit Unprocessed announce new album Angel

German metal outfit Unprocessed are back with a statement of intent with their upcoming album Angel,  which is due for release on Halloween 2025 (31st October).

The brand new video/single 'Solara', featuring Zelli of Paleface Swiss, combines a fresh industrial yet electronic approach with the signature Unprocessed downtuned riffage. The combined vocal performances of Manuel and Zelli create one of the album’s most striking moments. The track gives Zelli space to explore a different side of his vocal approach, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that is sure to turn heads.

Watch the video for 'Solara' here: https://youtu.be/1wANMBPc0Vk
Stream 'Solara' here: https://ffm.to/unprocessed-solara
Pre-order Angel here:  https:ffm.to/unprocessed-angel

Unprocessed comment on 'Solara' and the collaboration with Zelli: "With 'Solara' we were able to bring worlds together, leaning more into metalcore while maintaining our core essence, bringing in drum and bass influences for the first time. This track also features one of our absolute favourite vocalists of the scene- Zelli. His flow, timbre and lyricism is nothing short of amazing and we’re proud to present it to the world!"

Zelli adds: "I love Unprocessed, the boys and their music. What I enjoyed most about this project was that we worked on it hand in hand. It wasn’t just a matter of sending files back and forth; it was a true collaboration. I love that we were able to blend two genres in a way no one really had before. And the best part? I got to put my vocals on music I’d never worked with before. That’s always the most exciting part of a feature. Shooting the music video in the Swiss Alps made this whole project even better."

This announcement comes ahead of the the band's performance at Arctangent Festival on Saturday 17th August.

Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.

The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: "This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany - it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of "Angel" in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we've ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.

The band’s previous album, ...and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).

In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Their collaborative work with Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on ...and everything in between highlighted  the potential Unprocessed continues to exhibit amongst the scene’s most exciting guitar focused acts.

Central to Unprocessed’s identity is guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose playing has garnered international attention across online platforms and beyond. His partnership with Ibanez, including a signature model, and his ongoing guitar clinics around the world, reflect his growing status as one of the leading voices in modern metal guitar.

Unprocessed continue to push their sound forward with each release. Angel presents their most focused and dynamic material to date, offering a deeper look into the extremes of human experience without losing the technical foundations that first set them apart.

Christoph Schultz - Guitars

LIV SIN release new single 'Louder' to mark release of their powerful album Close Your Eyes

Swedish modern metal force LIV SIN celebrate the release of their new album, Close Your Eyes, with the launch of a powerful new single, 'Louder'. Out today via Seek & Strike, the album has already garnered critical acclaim, with Metal Gods Meltdown praising it as “an impressive blend of sonic breadth and emotional depth.”

Fronted by the formidable Liv Jagrell (ex-Sister Sin), LIV SIN deliver a fierce fusion of aggressive, riff-heavy intensity and soaring melodies, steadily carving out their unique place on the global metal stage. Close Your Eyes showcases the band’s growth and command, balancing raw power with emotional resonance.

The newly released single 'Louder' is described by the band as their “most straightforward metal-rock song,” designed to be an anthem fans can easily sing and scream along to. Tackling themes of betrayal and resilience, the track invites listeners to drown out negativity by cranking up their favourite music and losing themselves in the moment.

Watch the video for 'Louder' here: https://youtu.be/DEiPFepIO8g?list=RDDEiPFepIO8g

Order the new album here: https://orcd.co/livsincye

LIV SIN comments: "This is our most straightforward metal-rock song. We wanted to make a song that you could sing/scream along easily with, and with a theme that the most of us can feel and relate to. The song is about when someone you think is your friend, suddenly turns his or her back on you and starts to slander you. What is better to do than crank up your favorite music and silence the world around you for just a while.

We then had the idea of inviting our fans and other random metal people into the video to make a performance video that could share the true feeling of being on a LiV SiN live show. We invite you all to sing, scream, have a great time and jump along!"

A dynamic five-piece born from the ashes of Sister Sin, LIV SIN deliver a sound steeped in modern metal, melodic hooks and uncompromising intensity. Since their formation, the band has built a reputation for soul-stirring live shows and an authentic connection with fans.

Alongside Liv Jagrell (vocals) are Per Bjevoluk (drums), Daniel Skoglund (bass), Sonny Larsson (lead guitar) and Ante Mäkelä (rhythm guitar), each bringing unique musical influences and personal passions to the table, from painting and folk music to animal rescue, yoga and music education. Their collective energy is channeled into creating cathartic anthems for a global audience.

Rooted deeply in Swedish culture, several members of LIV SIN are dedicated to preserving the nation’s rich tradition of folk music, community art and craftsmanship. Sonny is an accomplished folk guitarist and painter, while Ante works in cultural education, championing the music and arts institutions that have helped define “the Swedish music wonder". Their love for traditional sounds and storytelling often seeps into their songwriting and creative aesthetic.

The new album began to reveal its dark heart earlier this year with the release of the powerful title track, 'Close Your Eyes'. Confronting the grim realities of human trafficking, the track features a striking guest vocal performance from Lars Palmqvist of Scar Symmetry. Following that, the band unveiled the intense single 'Run', inspired by a harrowing real-life cult story, further building anticipation for the full release. Mixed by acclaimed producer Tue Madsen (Babymetal, Meshuggah), Close Your Eyes promises a heavy, unflinching sonic journey.

Driven by purpose and powered by riffs, LIV SIN are not only forging new paths in heavy music, they’re carrying pieces of Sweden’s cultural soul with them along the way.
