New Miserable Experience (ft. members of Revocation, Rosetta, Rivers of Nihil) release new single

New Miserable Experience, featuring an all-star cast with members of Rosetta, RevocationModel Prisoner and Rivers of Nihil, return with new single - the hard-hitting 'Payback from God', streaming now via Pelagic Records.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/S0sUIhMnYeE
Stream: https://orcd.co/newmiserableexperience

True to their signature energy and rich tones, drenched in tension and melancholy, 'Payback from God' dives to the heart of the moment, questioning and reflective of turbulent times.

It's the first glimpse of the band's new album, coming 23rd January via Pelagic Records. Pre-orders will be available 19th November.

New Miserable Experience are a Philadelphia-rooted collective that reshapes heavy-music rigour into expansive, melody-forward songs through alternative synth-rock. What started as a file-trading collaboration between vocalist/bassist David Grossman (ex-Rosetta) and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Mahesh Kost (Model Prisoner) expanded into a full band that now includes Rosetta drummer Bruce “B.J.” McMurtrie Jr., technical-metal bassist Brett Bamberger (Revocation), and guitarist Brody Uttley (Rivers of Nihil).

Each member of New Miserable Experience contributes a distinctive sonic fingerprint. The vocals act as the emotional centre, delivering lines that feel confessional and immediate; synths and guitars are constructed with shimmering arpeggios and decisive motifs; percussion and production choices blend groove and tension within electronic nuance; and bass work often functions as a countermelody, lifting refrains and anchoring transitions. Together the five players emphasise careful craft over spectacle, shaping a song that rewards patient listening.

New Miserable Experience are:
Josh Kost, Brody Uttley, Brett Bamberger, David Grossman and BJ McMurtrie

Allt present digital deluxe edition of debut album From the New World including new acoustic versions & instrumentals

Progressive metalcore alchemists Allt release a digital deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed debut album From The New World via Century Media Records.

The deluxe edition features 22 tracks in total: It contains the original album, instrumentals as well as 3 new and unreleased acoustic versions of singles 'Aquila', 'Echoes' and 'Remnant'.

The band comment on the release of the deluxe edition: "With the deluxe edition we feel like we’re closing the post apocalyptic chapter of From The New World. The story we set out to tell was one of collapse, but also of survival, and in the aftermath, we now see nature recovering, and with it comes a cautious sense of hope. The acoustic songs reflect that same shift. We stripped away everything usually associated with our sound. There is no heavy production, no layers, no perfect takes, just the raw essence of who we are. It’s a way for us to invite listeners closer, to share something fragile, unpolished, and human."

Since their inception, Allt have toured extensively across Europe and the UK, sharing the stage with bands like Bleed from Within and Animals As Leaders. Earlier this year, Allt completed their first EU headline tour, which saw sold out shows across the board. Right after, the band embarked on a month-long North America tour to support Silent Planet and Invent Animate.

Now, Allt are confirmed for a few major European festivals in summer 2026, including Wacken Open Air & Reload Festival in Germany:

06/28 - TUSKA, FI
01/08 - WACKEN, DE
07/08 - BRUTAL ASSAULT, CZ
13/08 - RELOAD FESTIVAL, DE
14/08 - ROCK THE LAKES, CH

From The New World was released on 4th Oct 2024 via Century Media Records and manifested Allt as one of the most promising acts in the metal sphere

Known for their audiovisual storytelling, the band shared a same-titled album video stream via YouTube

CONJURER release third album Unself and reveal 'All Apart' video

British metal heavyweights CONJURER today release their incredible third album, Unself, via Nuclear Blast Records. In celebration of the day, the quartet have also revealed the video for focus track 'All Apart'.

Watch the video for 'All Apart' here: https://youtu.be/Dky47KMpCWQ
Order Unself here: https://conjurer.bfan.link/unself

CONJURER's co-vocalist and guitarist Dani Nightingale states: "I approached this song with the idea in mind of the first bricks that make up the metaphorical wall someone might put (or find) between them and their surroundings, the world they inhabit, both physical and metaphysical. For many people in a similar or comparable position to mine, those initial instances of disassociation and alienation begin at school, when one is first integrated into a social and educational environment with their peers and those who watch over them.

"I can’t describe what it’s like to be vilified for behaviours and traits that are just normal and natural to you, but because no-one understands you – not even yourself – you’re forced to adhere to things you don’t understand and become something you’re not."

CONJURER will be touring Unself across the UK and Europe in November. UK dates will be supported by Pijn and Death Goals.

UK dates:

Nov 09 - Damnation Festival, Manchester (CONJURER only)

Nov 6 - Doornroosje - Nijmegen (Netherlands)

Full dates can be found at https://www.conjureruk.com/live

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.

Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary.

These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.

Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense.

A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before.

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

Swedish metalcore heavyweights ADEPT unveil 'Blood Covenant' video

Photo Credit: Pontus Gustavsson & Martin Öberg

Today, ADEPT unveil their latest video 'Blood Covenant', further stoking the metal scene’s excitement for the eponymous Blood Covenant, their long awaited fifth studio album out 24th October, 2025, via Napalm Records. The title track and album opener shows ADEPT wielding spacey, dancing guitar leads that bring you into the emotionally captivating world of Blood Covenant. Arriving nine years after their most recent album, metalcore pioneers ADEPT keep their sound diverse, making sure their triumphant comeback will have been well worth the wait.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/hYjN-MlxXWY

Formed in the early 2000s in Trosa, Sweden, ADEPT helped shape the early European metalcore landscape, rising to prominence through passionate songwriting, high-octane live shows, and raw emotional energy, touring with genre mainstays like Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, and A Day To Remember. Following their fiery comeback at Core Fest 2024 and numerous explosive festival performances, the band will hit the road for an anniversary headlining tour through Europe, celebrating Blood Covenant and two decades of ADEPT. You can find a complete list of dates below.

The 'Blood Covenant' video follows ADEPT's previous explosive singles, 'Ignore The Sun', 'Heaven' and 'You'.

Pre-order the album here: https://lnk.to/Adept-Blood-Covenant/napalmrecords

Drenched in vivid hues of red, Blood Covenant is a raw, unflinching reflection on scars carried, battles fought, and the hunger to feel something genuine. Opening with the intense title track 'Blood Covenant', the album sets a brooding tone that echoes through the record. 'Heaven', drags the listener through a storm of guilt and fast-paced riffs, while the hard-hitting 'Define Me' follows with an imposing attitude and snapping aggression, underlining its uncompromising message of self-reclamation. Both tracks are marked by ADEPT’s signature blend of emotional intensity and unrelenting breakdowns. 'YOU' dives deep into the emotional wreckage of love lost, with swelling, cathartic guitar leads and honest, bleeding heart lyricism. 'Time Is a Destroyer' pulses with urgency and existential dread, unfolding over a haunting acoustic backdrop accented by swelling strings, while 'Parting Ways' channels melodic death metal energy, shifting seamlessly between soaring clean vocals and anguished shouts, capturing a moment of vulnerability wrapped in restrained heaviness and reflection. 'Filthy Tongue' dives headfirst into brooding industrial terrain, fusing harsh textures and hypnotic rhythms into a raw, relentless beast. Tracks like 'Ignore the Sun' lean into darker, more cinematic territory, introducing eerie ambient layers and post-metal textures that enhance the record’s emotional complexity. 'The Rapture of Dust', the album’s closer, collapses the record into a final, sweeping moment of reflection - crushing and beautiful in equal measure.

With a legacy spanning two decades, ADEPT are currently crushing stages at massive festivals across Europe like Nova Rock and Summer Breeze Open Air. The Swedish heavyweights indisputably stand at the threshold of their most vital chapter yet. As they prepare to embark on their massive 20-Year Anniversary Tour this winter, Blood Covenant doesn’t just mark a comeback. It redefines the band - scarred but unshaken, and more inspired than ever.

Produced by Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects) together with guitarist Gustav Lithammer and vocalist Robert Ljung at Henrik Udd Recording, the album boasts a sonically expansive and emotionally intimate production. Mixed by Henrik Udd and mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson (Soilwork, Dynazty) at The Panic Room, Blood Covenant wields immense weight and clarity without sacrificing any of its raw energy.
