'Vittring' is the Swedish word for scent but also weathering depending on how it is used, and the video (directed by RIIVATA Visuals) is a spin on that. Like a predator that smells its prey. The narrative explores using drugs to push limits and expand horizons, but then falling prey to a bigger force. That force could be a dark side within oneself, or brought out by someone else.
The band have also announced that drummer Klas Blomgren has joined the band. Klas commented: "Having known Buster for over a decade now, I’ve been following HUMANITY'S LAST BREATH since the start. Constantly evolving into what I think is the heaviest and darkest music I’ve ever heard. From a drumming perspective, this will surely be a challenge as it is not only technical but fast as well. I can’t describe the feeling of getting to play in one of your favourite bands, along with extremely talented guys Filip, Calle and Buster. I'm beyond excited to share the stage with these great dudes."

The celebrations come in the same week that Kerrang! included the band in their '13 Greatest Black Metal Albums of the 21st Century' feature, further cementing WINTERFYLLETH's position as bastions of the Black Metal movement and one of the darkest and most powerful bands to come from UK shores.
"When I think about the ever moving train ride of being in a band, it can sometimes be difficult to stop, put your foot on the brake and look backwards at where you have been on the journey to get you to the now," comments guitarist/vocalist Chris Naughton. "Often you become so focused on what is happening now, and where you are headed creatively, that you don’t pause and think to celebrate your victories along the way. For me, it’s nice to now do that with The Mercian Sphere Ten Year Anniversary Edition, which is, in lots of ways, the album that signified our arrival as a band on the bigger stage; and one that I look back on with the fondest of memories and a great deal of pride.
Many of our fans still consider this to be their favourite of our albums, and with songs like 'The Wayfarer (Trilogy)', 'The Fields of Reckoning', 'A Valley Thick With Oaks' and 'Defending The Realm' all becoming mainstays in our live set, this one really became the standard that all of our future albums would have to live up to. Self-described as a protest-rock project CATALAN! has already started becoming known for his danceable meld of forward-thinking indie, post-rock, and post-punk.
Aiming to spark lively debate around everything from environmental catastrophe to social media deluge, Ewen's stream of consciousness and reference-heavy lyrics are irresistibly melded to a backdrop of infectious rhythms, fizzy guitars, and synthy bass grooves.
A wide range of inspirations informs CATALAN!’s soundworld – elements of world music, post-everything, and even hip-hop. Ewen by day is a touring crewmember for a range of other bands (Frnk Iero, Laura Jane Grace, Thursday, among others) and is also a trained tour guide of his home on the north coast of Ireland. Veritas was written during Ewen's travels around Europe - and a sense of worldly curiosity permeates the record.
CATALAN!'s combined experiences helped shape Veritas, recorded on the remote North Coast of Northern Ireland. As Ewen comments "it took all the touring and travel to write the CATALAN! record, but it took coming home to record it", in an isolated location with no internet, phone signal, or outside contact. It’s a mixture of local history, news, a novel and politics all combined to create a release full of engaging emotive depth – formed via a stream-of-consciousness approach.
Using the stream-of-consciousness, Veritas asks the question: how are we expected to approach the way we consume world news today, given that there’s such a range of it?
CATALAN!’s uniquely engaging approach has already helped turn many heads at the BBC, The Line of Best Fit, supporting Jamie Lenman and And So I Watch You From Afar, among others. Ewen’s also known from his time in local post-hardcore heroes Axis Of.

'Pagans' is an aggressive retaliation to the rise of the far right in the UK, and the band have no issue with taking the law into their own hands if need be. To quote the lyrics: "Believe we'll roll deep on every Nazi, we're straight busting beaks. F*ck up them mans peace".

BRIGHT FALLS is the project of Thurles, Ireland singer-songwriter Eddie McCormack, who blends Americana with alternative rock, while taking a narrative approach to songwriting in the vein of acts such as The War on Drugs, The Killers, and Bruce Springsteen.
‘The Widows Homes’ is a heartbreaking tale that is both musically and lyrically refined, recounting the aftermath of a love lost. The verses detail the house in which the couple once shared together, which has now become derelict, symbolic of the relationship that the two share. The chorus sees the protagonist long for a reconciliation of the relationship which they know will never return, providing a singalong hook among the hopeless desperation the protagonist endures. This story of anguish and torment is underlined by the lyric in the chorus: “I’d lay that old hourglass, on its side, so time stands still”.
Shortly after the release of debut EP Logging, BRIGHT FALLS, with a full band, were invited to open Feile ‘19 in Semple Stadium alongside Sinead O’Connor & The Stunning. Since then BRIGHT FALLS has supported The Frank & Walters, Ryan Sheridan and David Keenan.

NO LIFE ON EARTH started under quarantine with the collaboration of Alan Wallace of Eminence and Jay Arriaga from Scattered Storm. From there PJ from pop super group Jota Quest joined on bass and Andre Acosta on vocals from Hereafter The Wave.
Together they wrote Nothing Is Real - a no-holds-barred groove metal bludgeoning, with tasteful melodic depth and some high profile guest spots.
Each song features stunning solos from Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Cesar Soto (Ministry), Hector Camarena (Hereafter the Wave) & the producer Tue Madsen.

But as humanity struggles to cope with the effects of this pandemic, the fact remains that we’re teetering upon the precipice of something far, far worse. Never a band to shy away from the inconvenient truth, guitarist Mark Byrne is ready to drag the waters - and reveal the inspiration behind the track:
"The environmental catastrophe that is headed our way will cause more deaths than COVID-19 and the solution will be far more complicated than a simple vaccine. We are all losing our sh*t at this pandemic, but what’s coming next is so fu*ked up, we won’t know what hit us. We are simply not ready for this. It’s not as bad as you think – it’s much, MUCH worse. Up until now, the scientific, political and even public discourse has focused on increasing temperatures – degrees Celsius. In the next few years, we will talk about it in terms of meters of sea level rise. Life as we know it, will not be the same, and we are just letting it play out in front of our very own eyes. That depresses me beyond belief, so I had to write about it. We are sinking in a deep blue hell. Many of the people and places we know and love, will be dragged out to the sea. Sit back and enjoy the horror show, because it’s your apocalypse, and you f*cking paid for it. Hop on for the ride."
