Instead, the band focuses on overturning and overcoming these moments - an attitude that will surely resonate with fans.

Progressive metal giants Jinjer announce Slipknot support tour and headline dates

Release limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl

Wallflowers out now via Napalm Records, purchase here

Progressive metal giants Jinjer have unveiled a string of US headline dates this coming March. The headline tour surrounds the band's supporting slot opening up for Slipknot on their Knotfest Roadshow, alongside In This Moment.

Beginning in North Dakota on 16th March and ending in Vancouver on 17th April, the Knotfest run will take in 20 dates across North America, with Jinjer's headline shows filling out 9 off-date slots, resulting in a 29-date total run.

Jinjer's Eugene Abdukhanov says about their upcoming North American tour:
"20 years ago or so, Slipknot shocked the world, along with four Ukrainian kids who would later become Jinjer. There was nobody like them. This band proved that you didn't need to get pop radio to get big. Their sound revolutionised heavy music. Joey's drumming changed the game! Thomson and Root's riffs are what we learned to play the guitar with. In many ways, Slipknot became role models to us, and we followed in their footsteps. For this reason and many more, being able to tour with this monster of a band means so much to us! We cannot wait to get out there on Knotfest Roadshow 2022. See you there."

Since announcing Wallflowers, the band have graced numerous renowned international magazine covers, booked the biggest stories, sold out countless tour dates and their first two new singles, 'Vortex' and 'Mediator', both cracked the multi-million stream mark in no time. The new album not only presents a methodical and premeditated next step in the band's already imposing career, but moreover, it mirrors the personal adversities they’ve faced due to the worldwide events of the last year. Wallflowers is not only an upgrade to the progressive groove metal sound that all Jinjer fans crave, but also a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship, emotional fury and an intense soundtrack befitting the harrowing state of the world today. Hailing from the conflict-ridden Ukrainian region of Donetsk but now calling Kiev their home base, Jinjer truly do not mince words – or riffs – on Wallflowers.

Unique Leader sign Crown Magnetar; announce new EP details

Alone In Death EP out 25th March via Unique Leader Records

Unique Leader has announced the signing of American modern deathcore juggernaut Crown Magnetar. Their forthcoming EP Alone In Death will be released on 25th March.

Crown Magnetar commented: "While as a band we’ve always been about incredibly fast, incredibly jarring deathcore with a lot of death metal influence, Alone In Death was written with speed and captivation in mind the whole time, on top of our go-to writing styles. At the same time, we’ve added an emphasis on emotional depth, making sure the riffs and beats were as memorable as they were extreme. Everyone goes through varying degrees of hardship, pain and isolation. Alone in Death reflects that both lyrically and emotionally."

With a compelling combination of tech, core and death elements,Crown Magnetar emerged in 2017 showcasing technical riffs, relentless blast beats and crushing yet dynamic vocals. Releasing The Prophet of Disgust EP in 2018, the band followed up with their critically acclaimed debut full-length entitled The Codex Of Flesh on 30th April, 2021 which they supported with a US tour alongside Lorna Shore.

Drag Me Out (ex-Asking Alexandria / Down & Dirty) stream new single and announce album

'Bullets In My Teeth' video streaming now

Demons Away album out 6th May via Lödereih Music

Eastern European emotional metalcore upstarts Drag Me Out are back! Lead by Denis Stoff, the charismatic frontman and former singer for Make Me Famous and Asking Alexandria, Drag Me Out have released their brand new single and video for 'Bullets In My Teeth', as well as pre-orders for their highly anticipated second album Demons Away, out 6th May via their own label imprint Lödereih Music.

Watch the video to 'Bullets In My Teeth' here: https://youtu.be/7j7xVIy35jg

Pre-order Demons Away here: https://www.Dragmeout.lnk.to/BIMT

'Bullets In My Teeth' is an anthem for the heartbroken and the insecure state of mind that many people find themselves in today.

Stoff comments on the new single: “'B.I.M.T.' not only marks our return to the heavy metal fray after splitting with our long time label Sumerian Records, but it is also a very personal song for me… Relationships of any kind, whether they be with your partner, band mates or with your fans- it is no easy task. It can make you or break you… when I wrote this song I was definitely breaking down. I hope it will help someone get back up like it did for me.”

The upcoming album Demons Away is part one of a three part concept album and starts off where their previous release Pressure left off. 12 new songs filled with huge chunky riffs and punchy rhythms rushing over tight grooves with just enough soaring melodies and infectious hooks to start a mosh pit on the dance floor or in your living room.

Stoff on the new album Demons Away: “It is soaked in the paranormal vibes. Your spiritual journey begins here and now. Our main purpose is to shed the light on the things that really make you feel bad, anxious, weak or wrong. It is our call for you to face the pain and explore it at its energetic core as the truth lies deeper than it might seem. My demons truly showed me that they are in fact always standing somewhere in between my perception of life and the ultimate truth about our world.”

Greek prog-psych quartet Naxatras unveil new single 'Omega Madness'

IV LP released 25th February 2022

Greek quartet Naxatras, forerunners of global psych rock, are proud to unveil their stunning new single 'Omega Madness'.

Stream here: https://orcd.co/naxatras_omegamadness

Of the single, Naxatras state: "'Omega Madness' was born out of a desire to capture a certain futuristic essence. The first part of the song is built on a proto-heavy riff and a charged-up groove, while the second part revolves around a 5/4 riff, where robotic sounds merge with one another. In this chapter, a vortex opens up in the sky and the hero of our story gets transferred to another dimension to face a vicious foe in reality-melting arena."

The new song is taken from the band's highly-anticipated new record IV, released 25th February 2022.

Pre-order IV here: https://orcd.co/naxatras_iv

IV is the band at their creative peak, with all their experience put to use, and you can hear the first glimpse of the record with the exquisite new single 'Journey to Narahmon'. An expansive, mesmerising six-minute journey, with nods to Pink Floyd, Elder, Steven Wilson, the new track's wordless vocalisations, by guest vocalist Eva Seitanidou, demonstrate the power of Naxatras at its fullest.

It’s been almost a decade now since Naxatras first set out from the Greek north to carve out the path fate had set for them.

Since 2012, the group have been honing the rough edges of psychedelic rock, combining heavy riffs, heady soundscapes, astral melodies and a deep appreciation for groove.

Naxatras now return. The band have today revealed the tracklisting and awe-inspiring cover art, created by Chris RW, which you can view below.

IV is - fittingly - the first new music to showcase Naxatras as a quartet. It is a significant departure for the group, already celebrated across Europe for their jamming-based approach to psychedelia. The focus with IV is now more directly on songwriting, musicianship and composition - drawing magic from early 70s prog rock and master songwriters of esoterica.

The new album has gaps that only a keyboard can fill, so Naxatras welcome a new member to the clan: Pantelis Kargas. The whole operation of the band has changed - the previously trademark analogue sound has shifted to a more surgically precise approach, the orchestration multileveled and powerful.

Naxatras' musical imprint began in 2015, with their first album I. Recorded in a single day, the record was a best-selling underground sensation and welcomed with critical acclaim.

Shortly after the band went on their first tour, with live shows in Greece and five neighbouring Balkan countries. The second album - II - followed in 2016, with the same attitude in live performance, live recording, and fully analogue mentality.

However the road proved to be the band's calling - summer 2016 led to Naxatras' first full European tour, sowing the seeds of high anticipation.

An established act with the release of III, 40 more European dates followed, with a firm fanbase in every city on the continent. The album release show in Athens was to more than 1,000 devotees, a sold-out spectacle, and the subsequent tours included performances at Desertfest, Rock Im Waid, Duna Jam, Ozora and a series of appearances in Australia.

Naxatras will tour Europe in April 2022. Dates are as follows:

31.03. - Sofia (BG), "Mixtape 5"
01.04. - Novi Sad (RS), SKCNS Fabrika

Norwegian powerpop quartet Beachheads release new single 'Change'

Beachheads II due 4th March 2022

'Catchy as f*ck' - Stereogum
'Resiliently heart-heavy' - Rolling Stone

Norwegian powerpop quartet Beachheads are back with their shimmering new single 'Change', taken from their forthcoming second album, the aptly titled Beachheads II, due 4th March 2022.

Stream 'Change' here: https://ffm.to/b_change

Pre-order: https://shop.fysiskformat.no/releases/852767-beachheads

Of the single, the band comment: "This is one of the first songs we wrote after our debut was out. 'Change' was originally a working title, but in the end it fitted well with the new elements in the band's sound – as well as the life-changing events described by lyricist Børild. To keep the jangly and ragged feel of the original demo we didn’t rehearse this song before playing it live in the studio, and it is that first take that ended up on the album. We dubbed the guitars with a high-strung acoustic guitar, and Øystein Frantzvåg and Frode Strømstad added synth and vocal harmonies. It’s sort of a follow up to 'Give Me Some Love' from our first album and the closest we’ve come to writing a ballad."

Power-pop with punk urgency that is both "Catchy as f*ck" (Stereogum) and "Resiliently heart-heavy" (Rolling Stone), Beachheads features two members of renowned metal band Kvelertak in an entirely different guise. Beachheads' second album might as well be described as Love with a couple of punk records under their belt – or as a post-punk version of early Oasis, where innocence and romance goes hand in hand with social realism and dystopia.

Produced by Frode Strømstad of I Was A King, Beachheads II is an exploration of a good melody behind the hardships of life. It is the soundtrack of everyday life, a textbook of utter joy and an acceptance of life as it is.

Vidar Landa - Guitar / backing vocals
Marvin Nygaard - Bass / backing vocals
