Pre-order Prepuce here:

On the theme of 'The Circumcisor', the band comment: "Satisfying the urge to cut off the prepuce of infants and adults alike, this disturbed individual enjoys cutting, slicing and biting off every inch available. The disgusting slams and blood curdling gutturals are the perfect soundtrack to this ferocious fairy tale."

Atoll hit the metal community hard and fast with tons of blood and guts with their debut album The Gathering Swarm (Ghastly Music) in 2016. Their album was recorded by the late Griffin Kolinski (Knights of the Abyss) at Hourglass Studios and mastered by Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, Wretched, For Today) at The Basement Recordings NC, giving the album a highly impactful aural presence.

With the worldwide debut, The Gathering Swarm received high praise from fans and press sources all around, as well as making several top album lists. Atoll has kept up pace by supporting the release to fans with high energy live performances and earned them a slot on Las Vegas Death Fest 2017 and on Los Angeles Extermination Fest 2017.

The fast-paced energy Atoll pushed out quickly got the attention of New York based Extreme Management Group giving Atoll a home on the roster shared with bands like Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, Origin, Decrepit Birth, Athiest, Rings of Saturn, Internal Bleeding, and more.

After signing to Los Angeles based Gore House Productions the band released their sophomore album, Fallout Frenzy, in November 2017. They completed their Gore house Productions catalogue with their 3rd album, Zoopocalypse, released in November 2019. Now signed with the immeasurable Unique Leader Records, Atoll is an active force in the slam scene and undeniably in pursuit of global domination.

Irish alt.stoner trio The Last Vinci reveal new single/video 'Adding Water to the Ocean'

Irish alt.stoner trio The Last Vinci have revealed their new single and video 'Adding Water to the Ocean', taken from their forthcoming LP The Revolution is Made Together, due 4th March via Narrow Door Records.

Watch: https://youtu.be/sFw7aaXs7Mo
Stream: https://linktr.ee/thelastvinci

The Last Vinci, from Cork, Ireland, are led by Alex Vinci. Despite the pandemic impacting all music-makers across the globe, The Last Vinci have been working nonstop since the beginning of 2020.

'Adding Water to the Ocean' is another glimpse of the band's new material, having entered the studio in April 2021 with Liverpool producer Tom Peters (Alpha Male Tea Party, Bicurious, God Alone). The new single is one of the most ambitious songs from The Last Vinci's new album; the song which best represents the collaborative processes which underpin The Revolution is Made Together. Vocal duties are shared by Brasko and Alex, with a brass ensemble led by John Naylor from A Burial At Sea, and a guest vocal feature from Tosin Bankole of Toshín.

The Last Vinci and Alex Vinci are well-known for their punishing low frequencies through a three amps set-up and their “give-all-you-have” energetic attitude, larger-than-life stage presence.

Their debut self-titled album was released in 2014, and swiftly followed by The Last Vinci - Live from the Studio, a full live performance recorded at Station Studios, Dublin. The albums were supported by an extensive tour around Ireland, Italy, the UK, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe.

The Last Vinci then released their 2019 EP The World, Enda Kenny, the Devil, the Vegans and all the Millennials shit on Narrow Door Records, again successfully touring across Europe. Aiming to immediately return to the studio, the band's plans were interrupted by the pandemic. Not content to rest, The Last Vinci ended up building The Narrow Studio, a space that became key to working on their new material throughout Covid-19.

The Oklahoma Kid release video for new single 'Come Undone'

Modern metal quintet The Oklahoma Kid have released a video for their brand new single 'Come Undone', taken from their upcoming full-length release, Tangerine Tragic, due out 3rd June 2022 via Arising Empire.

Check out the visualiser for 'Come Undone' here: https://youtu.be/SUFR1IAkQdw

Stream/purchase 'Come Undone' here: https://theoklahomakid.lnk.to/comeundone

Known for their unique blend of genres, the avant-garde five-piece continue to push boundaries and break old conventions. 'Come Undone' follows the first single 'Pale Tongue', a disturbing trip with psychedelic visuals and heavy rhythms, deeply influenced by early millennial industrial music and Neue Deutsche Härte, and their second single 'Melt Into You', with its melodic heaviness bursting at the seams.

Pre-order Tangerine Tragic here: https://arisingempire.com/tangerinetragic

Following the success of debut album Solarray (2019) The Oklahoma Kid set their focus on writing new music with one simple goal in mind, to better themselves and create something that fans will truly crave, resulting in new album Tangerine Tragic. Built on the strengths of Solarra, Tangerine Tragic experiments with new ideas and concepts that are as gentle as a breeze and also strike hard as a wrecking ball. The album was recorded and produced by Jan Kerscher (Ghost City Recordings), and mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Dealer), giving the production its full blown punch.

Guitarist Andreas Reinhard comments:

“We are always trying to get different influences into our music, that’s why we were looking for a producer outside our genre, to get some new input. When we first met up with Jan, we knew he was a perfect match to record and produce our new material.”

Formed in 2012, The Oklahoma Kid have consistently pushed boundaries with their breathtaking modern metal, bridging the gap between technical intricacy and energising rhythms. The band's 2014 debut EP Fortuneteller established their position within the German metal scene with their signature blend of genres.

In 2015 they revealed their sophomore EP Doppelganger, working with renowned producer Aljoscha Sieg (Eskimo Callboy, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Nasty) to deliver their signature bouncing grooves and futuristic synthesisers, complete with catchy hooks and singalongs. The band's unique video for 'Scharlatan', which was directed by Pavel Trebukhin (Alazka, Stick To Your Guns, Annisokay), also won the national PopFish Music Video Award.

2017 saw The Oklahoma Kid enter the studio to work on their debut album Solarray, a release that displayed the band's full sonic scope and capabilities - ranging from huge wall-of-sound arrangements to fragile melodies.

The Oklahoma Kid have electrified crowds with their passionate, relentless performance, touring with Stick To Your Guns, Carnifex, Evergreen Terrace and Hatebreed.

The quintet are no long an insider tip, they are a force to be reckoned with. Whether you experience them live at a festival or on record in your living room, The Oklahoma Kid will change your perception of what metal is capable of.

Greek prog-psych quartet Naxatras unveil new video

Greek quartet Naxatras, forerunners of global psych rock, have released a stunning, evocative new video for their single 'Omega Madness'.

Directed by Sam Kristofski, you can now watch ‘Omega Madness’ here: https://youtu.be/WVlr2gP5jas

Of the single, Naxatras state: "In the creative process, you often find yourself not remembering the exact moment when an idea was born. It’s very much like a stream-of-thought or a dream. 'Omega Madness' is one of those songs, all the parts coming together like they were always there. The music video follows the same dream logic. The images, the transitions and the symbols follow a subconscious path, like the minds of the band and the director are connected in an invisible web."

The new song is taken from the band's highly-anticipated new record IV, released 25th February 2022.

Pre-order IV here: https://orcd.co/naxatras_iv

IV is the band at their creative peak, with all their experience put to use, demonstrated on their singles 'Omega Madness', and 'Journey to Narahmon'.

It’s been almost a decade now since Naxatras first set out from the Greek north to carve out the path fate had set for them.

Since 2012, the group have been honing the rough edges of psychedelic rock, combining heavy riffs, heady soundscapes, astral melodies and a deep appreciation for groove.

Naxatras now return, with their beautiful, powerful new record IV.

IV is - fittingly - the first new music to showcase Naxatras as a quartet. It is a significant departure for the group, already celebrated across Europe for their jamming-based approach to psychedelia. The focus with IV is now more directly on songwriting, musicianship and composition - drawing magic from early 70s prog rock and master songwriters of esoterica.

The new album has gaps that only a keyboard can fill, so Naxatras welcome a new member to the clan: Pantelis Kargas. The whole operation of the band has changed - the previously trademark analogue sound has shifted to a more surgically precise approach, the orchestration multileveled and powerful.

Naxatras' musical imprint began in 2015, with their first album I. Recorded in a single day, the record was a best-selling underground sensation and welcomed with critical acclaim.

Shortly after the band went on their first tour, with live shows in Greece and five neighbouring Balkan countries. The second album - II - followed in 2016, with the same attitude in live performance, live recording, and fully analogue mentality.

However the road proved to be the band's calling - summer 2016 led to Naxatras' first full European tour, sowing the seeds of high anticipation.

An established act with the release of III, 40 more European dates followed, with a firm fanbase in every city on the continent. The album release show in Athens was to more than 1,000 devotees, a sold-out spectacle, and the subsequent tours included performances at Desertfest, Rock Im Waid, Duna Jam, Ozora and a series of appearances in Australia.

Naxatras will tour Europe in April 2022. Dates are as follows:

31.03. - Sofia (BG), "Mixtape 5"
01.04. - Novi Sad (RS), SKCNS Fabrika

Heavy hard rockers Daxx & Roxane release cover of Sammy Hagar's 'Heavy Metal'

London-based heavy hard rockers Daxx & Roxane have revealed their new single, a thumping cover of Sammy Hagar's classic 'Heavy Metal. The track is taken from the band's upcoming covers EP, DROP, due for release 25th March 2022.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/YR2L-ABJlMw

The band comment on the release of the new single: "Sammy Hagar's 'Heavy Metal' has always been a song that's close to our hearts, having watched the classic movie Heavy Metal 1981 so many times growing up. During the pandemic we decided to experiment with home recording by working on a covers EP. 'Heavy Metal' was the first song we all agreed on and the first to get the D&R treatment in our new home studio. It is as punchy and heavy as the original one. Really makes you want to sing the chorus out loud!".

"'Heavy Metal' follows Daxx & Roxane's previous releases: covers of Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' and Téléphone's legendary track 'Argent Trop Cher', the first ever to be translated into English."

'Heavy Metal' follows Daxx & Roxane's previous releases: covers of Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' and Téléphone's legendary track 'Argent Trop Cher', the first ever to be translated into English. Of the upcoming EP drummer Luca Senaldi explains: "This EP is our creative release in between albums. It's a way for us to exercise the music that inspired us and also to experiment with new recording techniques at our home studio. We didn't want to go for any obvious covers so we learned more than a 100 songs and ended with these four tracks that really stood out in our style."

The quartet started off as a thrash metal band and eventually found their sound in the New Wave of Classic Rock scene with their debut EP 4X4 (2016)first full-length album Ticket to Rock (2017), and the swaggering self-titled follow-up in 2020. Garnering support and attention from Planet Rock, Emerging Rock Bands and more, the band have also shared their explosive live performances on stages at Bloodstock FestivalHard Rock HellMontreux Jazz FestivalRockin' the Bowl, and have supported the likes of HIMBiters, and Bad Touch.

Progressive metallers Fall Europa release reflective new single 'Dolos (The Second Self)'

Progressive metal act Fall Europa have released their reflective new single, 'Dolos (The Second Self)'. The music video explores the shallow viewpoints of TV shows and their disregard of mental health, and is taken from their upcoming EP, King Pariah, due 13th May 2022.

Check out the video for 'Dolos (The Second Self)' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjG2Ex02IP8

Vocalist Taylor Ludlow comments on the inspiration for the single:

"The song is about understanding and accepting the fact that we are all fighters battling our own internal struggles. Sometimes for me it almost feels as if I am sharing my mind with an enemy. In Greek mythology Dolos is the spirit of trickery, so I settled on that name for the trespasser in my mind. One of my close family members was about to take her own life and was talked out of it, so there's a lot of pain in this song. I see beautiful people hating themselves and it hurts my heart; one of our songs was eventually going to be about this, I see it so much.
I want it to guide people to the idea that even though this war is never ending, you will never give up and to take pride in what we are; fighters. Understand that some of us are better at fighting than others and there is much we can learn from one another. I see this song as one of many weapons in this never ending war against what I call, the second self."

Fall Europa are a progressive metal band from Dallas, TX, formed in 2018. Consisting of guitarists Travis Taylor and Jackson Snowden, drummer Trey Herod, bassist Matthias Bowen, and vocalist Taylor Ludlow, the quintet have released two EPs, Fall Europa (2018) and The Collection: 1 (2019), and are set to release their latest EP, King Pariah, in May 2022.

The band's sound draws heavy influence from artists like The Contortionist, The Safety Fire, and Misery Signals. Since their formation they’ve opened for national acts such as Between the Buried and Me, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, Erra, Slaughter to Prevail and many more. Fall Europa also opened up the national festival The Summer Slaughter Tour in 2018.

US deathcore group Bodysnatcher announce new album, stream new single

Photo Credit: Toddi BabuHotly-tipped US deathcore group Bodysnatcher will release their long anticipated album, Bleed-Abide, on 22nd April via MNRK Heavy.

The band today reveal the record's artwork, tracklisting, and new single 'E.D.A.'.

Stream 'E.D.A.' here: https://youtu.be/eyNBXQVGaSc

Pre-order Bleed-Abide here: https://www.bleed-abide.com

An epically unashamed demonstration of aggression, Bodysnatcher's music is dark, furious, and threatening. It’s a sound born from the burden of struggle and an unwavering commitment to continued survival against all obstacles.

Bodysnatcher put the 'core' back in deathcore. Bleed-Abide, the Florida band's third album, crackles with rage and power.

Comments vocalist Kyle Medina, Bleed-Abide is the ultimate culmination of what the band has been building for years, and I believe the best material to date. The instrumentals have matured and become heavier hitting and the lyrics dig deeper personally and more relatable than even This Heavy Void. There is something for everyone in this album: slam riffs, breakdowns, two steps, choruses that stick…”

“This album means more to me than any album I have ever been involved in,”
adds drummer Chris Whited. “We all love [last album] This Heavy Void, but we weren’t the well-oiled machine that we are now. We know exactly how we all write together and what we are capable of now, and this album fully shows it. Every one of us put hours upon hours into this album throughout the pandemic. Hearing it all come together as one cohesive piece is amazing. I’m so proud of my brothers. This is the album I have always wanted to put out.”

Today the band unleash their new single 'E.D.A.'. “The song is about the feelings I dealt with from my mom's passing,” elaborates guitarist Kyle Carter. “It talks about how I felt robbed and didn’t even know the real person she was because I was only twelve when she died. It talks about how it feels like her death has defined who I am in so many ways, but I don’t even remember her fully. It’s a tough subject for me even still, and it’s very frustrating and confusing. I feel very strongly about this song, and I hope it helps anyone who might feel a similar way.”

Coinciding with the release of Bleed-Abide, Bodysnatcher will join Dying Fetus for a month-long Spring tour across North America, with Chelsea Grin, Frozen Soul, and Undeath.

Bodysnatcher will support Ingested on their UK tour. Dates as follows:

18.03.22 UK Birmingham @ Asylum 2
19.03.22 UK Manchester @ Rebellion
20.03.22 UK Glasgow @ Audio
21.03.22 UK Newcastle @ Think Tank
22.03.22 UK Leeds @ The Key Club
23.03.22 UK Bristol @ The Exchange
24.03.22 UK Southampton @ The Joiners
25.03.22 UK London @ The Underworld

About Bodysnatcher:

Kyle Medina (vocals), Kyle Carter (guitar), Kyle Shope (bass), and Chris Whited (drums) embody the hardcore spirit and cut their teeth in their tight-knit Florida community, home of death metal and pioneering punk, hardcore, and power-violence bands. Bodysnatcher are monikered after the nickname of one of history’s most notorious serial killers, Ed Gein, and represented by a triangular symbol steeped in alchemy and the occult. But Bodysnatcher lyrics owe more to the horrors of domestic strife than the gore of their Florida-based forebearers in Cannibal Corpse.

The inception point came with the purest of intentions. “I was around seventeen,” Medina explains. “We were just going to be a band that was basically a ‘breakdown band’ for my friends to mosh to.” Eventually stabilisng with a line-up that overlapped at various points with beloved groups like King Conquer and Dealey Plaza, Bodysnatcher released a quick succession of albums and EPs, most notably Abandonment (2015), Death Of Me (2017), and the utterly crushing This Heavy Void (2020). Combined with a blistering live show, this led to a deal with the MNRK Heavy label.

Bleed-Abide is the darkest offering yet from Bodysnatcher, burning with an intensity derived from a further focus on sonic pummeling and truth-telling narratives. “Even as a pissed-off teenager, the first songs I wrote were about personal experiences and people who did me wrong,” Medina says. “The musicianship is more mature; there are still a lot of breakdowns but done in a much smarter way. It’s definitely still Bodysnatcher. It’s like Bodysnatcher on steroids.”

All of the guys contribute to the lyrics, resulting in multiple points of view and diverse insights anchored by common themes of catharsis and resistance. 'Absolved Of The Strings And Stone' is a battle cry against the gaslighting and emotional abuse of toxic people. 'Hollow Shell' delves into strained familial dynamics, where some family members live as virtual prisoners to others. 'Wired For Destruction' confronts death anxiety. “It’s about the fear of the unknown, how all of us will move on,” says Medina. “Are we just going to return to dust? Are we just forgotten?” Even amidst the uncertainty and darkness, there’s an underlying positivity to be mined within. 'Value Through Suffering' takes a proactive stance on hardship, a way to rebuild from the wreckage. Too many bands resist genre classification in an aloof effort to distinguish themselves from every other band, inadvertently consigning themselves to talking points that sound like everyone else. Bodysnatcher is, without apology, a deathcore band. There is no compromise in the cards. “Deathcore kicks ass. A lot of bands shy away from labels they don’t deem ‘cool’ enough. But we don’t give a f*ck,” Medina says proudly. “We like what we like, and we play what we play. We all love hardcore and metal, so we’re going to play hardcore, play metal, and play breakdowns. And that’s how the band is going to be, forever.”
