“I love Metal For Good and what they stand for. Once I was told they were doing a merch auction for their cause, I was more than happy to contribute. Going through some drawers at home and finding some classic merch pieces from years gone by, it felt good to know these were going to put to good use!” Andy Copping

All money raised will go to fund UK based community projects that use music to improve mental health, unlock young potential, and amplify underrepresented voices - because metal is more than music, it’s a movement.

Tallah unleash sci-fi concept album Primeval: Obsession // Detachment with new video

Genre-defiant nu-core disruptors Tallah have today released their most ambitious work to date, Primeval: Obsession // Detachment,  a fully live-tracked, sci-fi concept album that pulls listeners into a world of collapsing morality, split identities and sonic chaos. Released via Earache Records, the band have also dropped a brand new music video for focus track 'depleted', one of the album’s strangest and most textural songs.

Shot among rusted rebar and yellow-jacket swarms, the 'depleted' video captures the dystopian atmosphere of the record’s second act - wild, decaying and haunted. Sharing more on the experience, frontman Justin Bonitz shares:

“Despite all the dust, yellow jackets, and rusty rebar, this was one of the coolest locations we have ever shot at. There was so much to explore, and it really captured the vibe/aesthetic we saw in our heads when listening to the song. Derek Rathbun (director) made everything so easy and streamlined, so the shoot felt a lot shorter than it actually was. ‘depleted’ is one of the weirdest songs on the album, and we were hoping the video would match the same energy. Have fun listening!”

Watch the video to 'depleted' here: https://youtu.be/Zv-QnSjy5T8

Listen here: earache.lnk.to/Primeval

Order Primeval: Obsession // Detachment here: earache.com/tallah

The track itself maintains the raw, unedited approach that defines Primeval: Obsession // Detachment. The album was recorded live in Michigan with producer Josh Schroeder using no clicks, no edits, and no safety nets. Like its four predecessors, 'What we know', 'A primeval detachment', 'augmented' and 'as fate undoes', 'depleted' also ties directly into the album’s layered sci-fi narrative. The concept follows two characters, Ana and Sheelah, on a morally destructive journey across an alien world. Fans can dive deeper into the lore through The Primeval Game, a playable story-world that’s updated monthly with new clues, song teasers, and narrative expansions. Explore the game, built in collaboration with Enzo Interactive at primevalgame.com

Primeval: Obsession // Detachment stands as Tallah's most ambitious and uncompromising work to date. Weaving sci-fi storytelling together with deliberately imperfect performances, Tallah prove that human instinct still has power in an increasingly artificial landscape.

Tracklisting:

1. 05:01
2. What We Know
3. augmented
4. as fate undoes
5. my primeval obsession
6. _la|cuna_
7. A primeval detachment
8. undone by fate
9. depleted
10. what we want

Emerging from Pennsylvania in 2018, Tallah fuse the percussive force of second-generation drummer-turned-bassist Max Portnoy with the unpredictable dexterity of vocalist and viral phenom Justin Bonitz and the phenomenal guitarist duo of Derrick Schneider and Alex Snowden to form a sound that’s part brutalist nu-metal, part theatrical meltdown, and entirely their own. What began as a raw homage to the early-2000s metal they were raised on—Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park—has since evolved into something far stranger and far more singular.

After making waves with their 2020 debut Matriphagy, a twisted concept album soaked in trauma and noise, the band were hailed by Knotfest as delivering “one of the best metal releases of the year” and by Metal Hammer as “leading the charge on the new wave of nu-metal.” The follow-up, The Generation Of Danger (2022), saw them push their hybrid sound further into chaos—earning millions of streams, high-profile festival slots, and nominations at both the Heavy Music Awards and AIM Independent Music Awards.

But it’s on album three, Primeval: Obsession // Detachment (out 5th September 2025 via Earache Records), that Tallah truly shatter what’s left of the mould. Decamping to Michigan to record the entire project live with longtime producer Josh Schroeder, the band abandoned edits, clicks, backing tracks, and rules. What remains is pure instinct—feral, volatile, and unrelentingly human.

To date, Tallah have clocked up 29.7 million Spotify streams and 6 million YouTube views.

Unprocessed and Textures announced as support for Jinjer UK/EU tour

German modern metal mavericks Unprocessed have been announced as main support to Jinjer on their upcoming tour, which will follow the release of their new album, Angel, out 31st October.

Check out Unprocessed's latest single 'Solara', taken from the upcoming album here: https://youtu.be/1wANMBPc0Vk

Unprocessed bassist David John Levy commented: "To say we are stoked to join Jinjer on their upcoming tour would be an understatement - we're pumped to get on the road with them, one of the best bands in the scene and lovely people! We got to play together a couple of times in the past and it has always been a blast hanging out with them. Also, it's such a big honour to have Textures on the tour aswell being the djent poineers they are. They influenced us and our music heavily and we're more than ready to conquer Europe with them! With our new album 'Angel' being released just a few months before the tour, this will be the first time you'll get to see us with our new songs!”

Also announced are Dutch tech metal pioneers Textures. This will be the first full European tour for the band since their reunion and that they will be presenting fresh songs from their first new album in 10 years.

Textures commented: “We’re more than excited to join Jinjer and Unprocessed on the European Duél tour running from January 23rd until March 2nd in 2025. This will be our first extensive five week tour since our last run back in 2016, so we are looking forward to heading out there once more and see all of you out there!”

2026 UK / IE dates:
27 Jan: SWG3, Glasgow
28 Jan: 3Olympia, Dublin
29 Jan: O2 Ritz, Manchester
30 Jan: O2 Institute, Birmingham
31 Jan: O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

Pre-order Angel here:  https:ffm.to/unprocessed-angel

Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.

The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: "This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany - it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of "Angel" in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we've ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.

The band’s previous album, ...and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).

In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Their collaborative work with Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on ...and everything in between highlighted  the potential Unprocessed continues to exhibit amongst the scene’s most exciting guitar focused acts.

Central to Unprocessed’s identity is guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose playing has garnered international attention across online platforms and beyond. His partnership with Ibanez, including a signature model, and his ongoing guitar clinics around the world, reflect his growing status as one of the leading voices in modern metal guitar.

Unprocessed continue to push their sound forward with each release. Angel presents their most focused and dynamic material to date, offering a deeper look into the extremes of human experience without losing the technical foundations that first set them apart.

Canadian progressive death metal band Omnivide unveil new EP; release first single and video

Canadian progressive metal band Omnivide return with their most ambitious work to date. The band have announced their upcoming EP Arise is set for release on 10th October via Seek & Strike.

Leading the charge is the breathtaking first single, 'Void', ushered in by a striking performance video, weaving the band’s onstage intensity with intricate, hand-drawn animations that mirror the track’s dramatic interplay of light and dark.

Watch the video for 'Void' here: https://youtu.be/3i5XlIYBpOY

Pre-save here: https://orcd.co/omnividearise

Omnivide state: "Our first single, ‘Void,' was the first song that began to take shape at the beginning of the writing process for the EP, so it has a lot of the foundational characteristics that inspired the rest of the songs. It has technical riffs, a contrast of high intensity and laid-back sections, orchestral arrangements, a mix of harsh and clean vocals and a crushing guitar solo. Overall, it encapsulates our intentions with the music for this EP, which is why we choose it as a lead single. It also has the most direct link to the lyrical theme of the EP, being about overcoming inner limitations and external adversity in life's most dire situations. It vividly expresses the desperation felt in times of seemingly insurmountable struggle, the refusal to give up no matter how badly the odds are stacked against us and the growth that takes place when one chooses to face such challenges."

With Arise, Omnivide elevate the sonic palette laid out in their 2024 debut album A Tale of Fire. That record, self-produced and refined over years, fused progressive, melodic, death and symphonic metal to critical acclaim and launched the band’s rise, featuring an extensive tour across Canada and resulting in nominations for Music NB Awards in 'Breakthrough Artist' and 'Song of the Year' categories. Their signing with Seek & Strike later that year signalled their growing international momentum.

Now with Arise, the group raise the stakes, pushing deeper into progressive and symphonic territory while maintaining the technical edge that has become their signature. Drawing influence from acts such as Between The Buried and Me, Opeth and TesseracT, Omnivide fuse brutality and beauty in equal measure.

The band add: “Arise is a major evolution from our debut album A Tale of Fire. We took the elements we loved most from that first release and cranked them up another level. We really wanted to outdo ourselves on this one and we all felt ready to make something better in a shorter time frame. People can expect more techy riffs, bigger orchestral arrangements, more progressive song structures and more clean singing to complement the harsh vocals. The EP also has a lot of ups and downs in intensity, going from all-out brutal riffs to chilled-out, subdued clean sections throughout each song."

With Arise, Omnivide push themselves further than ever, delivering a thrilling balance of technicality, melody and emotional depth. The EP cements their reputation as one of the most exciting rising forces in modern progressive metal.

Inventive metalcore act Vianova surprise drop debut album after leaking it on ONLY FANS

Berlin metalcore eccentrics Vianova have today surprise dropped their debut album HIT IT along with a wild music video for new single 'Squier Talk' via Arising Empire, following a week of leaking material themselves via ONLY FANS. The quartet's lack of convention and creative appoach has rapidly catapulted them to becoming one of the fastest growing acts in modern metalcore, and their accention to the top is about to be realised with the release of one of the most brilliant and quirky metal albums of 2025.

Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBu89Oo01RI

Stream 'HIT IT' here: https://arisingempire.com/vianova

Vocalist Alex commented: "It’s only once in a lifetime you get to drop your debut album and we couldn’t be more exited about releasing HIT IT!, our loveletter to the past, the present and the future of music.

"Throughout the record's story, told through our music videos and social media 'minisodes' we have played on crazy gameshows, swapped our gender and were stripped of our identities. 'Squier Talk' concludes this visual odyssey with us arriving at the headquarters of the "biggest record label in the world", Intergalactic Records, where we are confronted with the harsh surreality of the music industry.
It’s also the records opening track, launching you into the sonic rollercoaster that is HIT IT!.
If you like tight poppy song structures, polished commercial metalcore, and lyrics that talk about „being pulled into the abyss/ getting stabbed in the back“ this album is… not for you. HIT IT!"

New video 'Squier Talk' is also the latest installment of the Vianova soap opera, told across episodic social media reels, shortform video and a series of creative music videos accompanying the album’s singles.

The story has follows the surreal rise of a caricatured version of the band from studio grind and quirky side hustles into full-blown, Kill Your Friends-esque chaos. The band hustle on a wild gameshow, cruise through night-time Berlin in a vintage Mustang, and even swap genders in a dreamlike twist. After shooting with metalcore’s top director, they’re shockingly replaced by doppelgängers, only to be scooped up by the fictional Intergalactic Records. In the penultimate chapter of the story, in true Vianova fashion, they leaked clips of their own album on OnlyFans, turning the music industry inside out with a mix of satire, spectacle, and raw creativity.

‘Squier Talk’ sees the conclusion of the story (for now), as Vianova’s expectations of “making it” and the stark realities of the music business collide with comedy and poignancy in equal measure.

Vianova have already gained traction in the UK as shown by their sold out their London headliner at 229 in August, and being hailed as one of the highlights of Arctangent festival.

Catch the band live:
17.09.25 – Hamburg, Reeperbahn Festival (DE)
19.09.25 – Helsinki, On The Rocks (FI)
27.09.25 – Köln, Euroblast Festival (DE)
13.11.25 – Leipzig, Neues Schauspiel (DE)
14.11.25 – Berlin, Badehaus (DE)
15.11.25 – Hamburg, Bahnhof Pauli (DE)
21.11.25 – Vienna, Chelsea (AT)
22.11.25 – Munich, Backstage (DE)

Following the viral momentum of their recent singles ‘Más Rápido’, ‘Melanchronic’ ‘Whatever,
Alright ’, and ‘Uh, Yaya’, which were praised by top-tier influencers/reactors like Nik Nocturnal,
METALBIRB, bogdanhxc, and several prominent YouTube channels, Berlin’s Vianova have
quickly emerged as one of most exciting new heavy acts on the scene.

Blending the bounce of nu-metal, the snarling punch of metalcore, and the melodic dramatics of
post-hardcore with a no-f***s-given crossover energy, Vianova aren’t just knocking on the door –
they’re kicking it down. Armed with razor-sharp riffs, pounding grooves, jazz shifts, funk breaks, and a visual aesthetic that’s as unhinged as it is unforgettable, Vianova embrace the absurd and
the aggressive in equal measure. They are chaotic, catchy, and grab attention like a steel chair to
the face.

Armed with their debut album HIT IT!Vianova push their sound even further. This new chapter
aims for a raw, fierce, and dynamic approach in both mixing and songwriting. Enigmatically
embracing influence from soul, jazz, R&B, and 80s synths, Vianova are unapologetically
themselves, the album a reflection of the quartet’s commitment to not just breaking but entirely
ignoring genre boundaries. Accompanying this sonic evolution is a vibrant visual transformation
and some ever-evolving lore, told through an ongoing series of energetic and charismatic music
videos.

Born from the union of heavy metal and unapologetic sensuality, Dogma is less a band and more an exorcism. Their performances bleed theatrics and throb with tension — an altar where riffs reign, inhibitions collapse, and every beat is a confession.

In their church, there is no shame — only truth.
No penance — only passion.
No gods — only Dogma.
Kneel if you must... but it is not to pray.

US doom outfit FRAYLE unveil sultry third single 'Heretic'

Following recent sonic gifts of grimness 'Walking Wounded' and 'Summertime Sadness' (Lana Del Rey cover) – both of which saw rabid response from acclaimed media and fans alike – FRAYLE return fresh off of their European tour, including a standout performance at Bloodstock festival, with a third single, the slinking, doom-rocking 'Heretic'. The track appears on the band's upcoming third full length album, Heretics & Lullabies, out 10th October 2025 via Napalm Records.

Watch the video for 'Heretic' here: https://youtu.be/h0XTrxOmZPA

Pre-order Heretics & Lullabies here: https://lnk.to/Frayle-HereticsandLullabies/napalmrecords

Standout single 'Heretic' injects heavy rock edge and arena-ready drums into the album's doom-laden procession, adding to its multi-faceted nature. The track arrives alongside another beautifully cinematic music video.

FRAYLE commmented on the single: "'Heretic' explores the nature of heresy, spiritual struggle and the rejection of religious dogma. Just because we reject spiritual conformity and societal norms, does this, in and of itself, make us a "bad person"? Is god a supreme being, the collective subconscious, or simply an ideal? We believe that relying on yourself and your own morals can ultimately evolve into being your own savior. We are all gods."

FRAYLE have been lauded as one of the fastest-rising, most haunting currently active modern doom metal outfits of late, infusing their sound with eclectic elements and now reinventing their trademark spectral sonic profile. Merging the heaviness of occult-driven doom and blackgaze with frontwoman Gwyn Strang's distinctively eerie vocal stylings and the crushing guitars of Sean Bilovecky, the band has fully realized their "lullabies of chaos" musical vision with Heretics & Lullabies.

Recorded by FRAYLE and produced, mixed and mastered by Aaron Chaparian at Iron Audio (Bleeding Through, Harms Way), Heretics & Lullabies is a must-listen for any fan of doom, post-metal or atmosphere-heavy alt-rock, but also a pristinely phantomic journey for any heavy music fan as it maintains its accessible edge throughout.

The album kicks off with first single 'Walking Wounded', a whispering wall-of-sound that crushes with spine-tingling stacks of harmony. The deeply punishing atmosphere continues into second track “Summertime Sadness”, an entirely reworked doom-laden cover of the Lana Del Rey hit. Airy anthem 'Boo' injects mid-tempo flavour and multifaceted vocal balance into the album as crushing weight lands alongside each hook, with bending guitar tone and dark, sparkling atmosphere swirling amid pounding percussion. Mid-album cuts such as 'Demons' and 'Glass Blown Heart' flirt with threateningly macabre lyrical poetry and otherworldly melody, while glacially-paced anthems 'Souvenirs Of Your Betrayal' – described as a deeply personal look at the depths of despair after a painful deception – and 'Run' double down on the aggressive, suffocatingly beautiful ambience and Gwyn Strang's shimmering, beckoning vocal timbre. Hair-raising 'Hymn For The Living' and standout single 'Heretic' inject heavy rock edge and arena-ready drums into the mix, before the album concludes with droning melodic masterpiece 'Only Just Once' – an unforgettable closer to this colossal modern doom compendium.
