The Hunna's vocalist Ryan Potter comments: "'tough love' finds itself in the middle of the blue transitions EP & poignantly signifying the gritty part to a relationship. From connection to disconnection, clarity to doubt. Trying to find the right pieces that fit the puzzle again."

About the EP, he continues: "Our first ever EP blue transitions is a set of powerful, melancholic songs taking a deeper look into the transformations & changes that occur naturally in life between two individuals. The transitional moments & mechanisms that can play out all underlined by different complexions of blue signifying sadness yet also grace in the face of such difficult moments."

The news of blue transitions follows The Hunna's triumphant return with their singles 'hide & seek' and 'bloom', as well as mainstage appearances at 2000trees and Y Not? festivals. You can next watch The Hunna live supporting Palaye Royale.

The Hunna, formed by Jack Metcalfe, Ryan Potter, and Daniel Dorney, burst onto the scene in 2015 with standout singles 'Bonfire' and 'She’s Casual', followed by their explosive debut album, 100, in 2016, which secured their first top 20 record, reaching number 13 on the UK album chart.

Bolstered by global fan support, the band swiftly earned major festival slots, including headlining the Festival Republic Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival and performing a secret set that attracted one of the largest crowds to date. They also performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, All Points East, and festivals across Europe and North America, alongside their own sold-out tours.

Between 2017 and 2018, the band’s second album, Dare, climbed to number 12 on the UK album chart, sparking a sold-out tour in Australia and further sold-out shows across the UK and Europe. Notable achievements included selling out Brixton Academy three times, as well as Camden Roundhouse, Rock City, Manchester Apollo, and other prominent venues. In the US, they achieved success with multiple sold-out performances at iconic venues like The Troubadour in Los Angeles, Mercury Lounge, and Webster Hall in New York.

For their third album, I’d Rather Die Than Let You In, The Hunna collaborated with renowned producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Goldfinger, Twenty One Pilots, All Time Low) in Calabasas, working alongside artists such as Travis Barker (Blink-182), Josh Dun (Twenty One Pilots), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Phem, and others. The trio followed this in 2022 with their self-titled album The Hunna, partnering with Grammy Award-winning producer Gil Norton. Adored by their loyal fanbase of nearly a decade, this album marked a significant new chapter for the band.

Now, in 2025, after a few years without new music, The Hunna return with renewed energy and their signature powerful sound, with new EP blue transitions.

US hard rock rising stars S8NT ELEKTRIC unveil new single 'PEACE OF MYSELF'

LA hard rockers S8NT ELEKTRIC have released new single 'PEACE OF MYSELF', the third track from their debut album OFF THE EDGE which will be released in the autumn of 2025.

Watch the video to "PEACE OF MYSELF" here: https://youtu.be/IpSha5YkRq8

Stream the single here: https://s8ntelektric.lnk.to/peaceofmyself

S8NT ELEKTRIC comment: "'PEACE OF MYSELF' is a song about finally saying what you really feel. We can become victims to people-pleasing, and in the process of trying to make everyone like us, we completely lose ourselves. There’s a breaking point you reach when you’ve tried so hard to keep the peace, only to realize that it will never be enough. For us, this song is that exact moment. The moment that you refuse to make yourself small enough to fit into someone else’s world and learn to embrace your true self, even if people don’t like it."

S8NT ELEKTRIC have quickly become a force in the heavy music scene, not just for their innovative rock sound – a collision of crushing riffs and infectious pop hooks – but for their commitment to truly living "OFF THE EDGE." This isn't just a motto; it's a lifestyle, demonstrated by their death-defying stunts including being circled by drift cars and skydiving. Founded on the bold vision of singer Bri Carbajal and lead guitarist Niko Tsangaris, and brought to life by the talents of Trey Baker (drums), Sinner (guitar), and Harrison Forsythe (bass), S8NT ELEKTRIC uses their adrenaline junkie attitude and honest songwriting to inspire listeners to confront their fears and chase their dreams.

The band has toured Europe every summer, opening for artists like WolfmotherMammoth WVHMC5Dirty Honey, and WARGASM, as well as playing huge festivals such as BottlerockRockvillePrague Rocks, and Azkena Rocks.

Irish dance-driven math/noise rock collective GOD ALONE release new single/video - 'Pink Himalayan'

Irish dance-driven math/noise rock collective GOD ALONE, currently on tour with And So I Watch You From Afar, have dropped their explosive new single 'Pink Himalayan'. The track is lifted from their forthcoming album The Beep Test, due 10th October via Prosthetic Records.

Praised by Kerrang! for their “twisted noise, glacial beauty... a duality that’s instantly moving, and sets them apart,” GOD ALONE lean into that contrast more than ever on 'Pink Himalayan'. The track is a frenetic dance–mosh anthem, channeling the chaotic brilliance of The Armed and Black Midi. With its chant-ready chorus, flashing guitars, swaggering drums and euphoric climax, punctuated by the declaration, "We’re going out tonight; it’s party time", the single cements GOD ALONE’s reputation as masters of controlled chaos.

“I wrote the riff and vocal melody a while ago, and we put some synths around it,” recalls guitarist/vocalist Jake O’Driscoll.

“It came to life in the rehearsal room,” adds drummer Jack O’Hanlon. "It’s the first song really with a clean vocal hook. You know it’s party time when you hear it.”

GOD ALONE charge through styles and vibes with the velocity of a high-speed bullet train, barreling forward at a breakneck pace, busting boundaries, and beckoning listeners to hold on for dear life. The Cork, Ireland quintet mash together math rock virtuosity, metal intensity, pop hooks, techno textures, and dancefloor-ready grooves equally at home under the glow of a disco ball or in the center of the mosh pit. This is what happens when you invite a cohort of highly skilled music nerds with all of their amps and gear beyond the velvet rope and into the V.I.P. section of the club. This is controlled chaos converted into a catchy collage of sounds. This is GOD ALONE.

Watch GOD ALONE's previously released video for the record’s title track HERE.

GOD ALONE initially surfaced back in 2016. They evolved in real-time with the likes of the Intivim EP (2016), Poll na mBrón (2018), God Alone EP (2019), and ETC (2022). Distorted Sound rated the latter “9-out-of-10,” going on to attest, “A must for any experimental rock and metal fan, GOD ALONE should be one of Ireland’s most talked about bands, and definitely one you should keep on your radar.Nine Circles concurred, “It can’t be overstated how much ETC breaks away from the pack and does something that is so incredibly creative, and risky while they’re at it.”

Beyond packing venues in Ireland, the group lit up UK festivals such as ArcTangent, Portals, Strange Forms, Focus Wales, and more. The musicians parlayed this momentum into the creative process, co-producing The Beep Test alongside Joe Clayton of Pijn. Under the influence of everyone from LCD Soundsystem and Tears For Fears to Turnstile and Dillinger Escape Plan, the sessions maintained a D.I.Y. spirit.

“The only thing we recorded in a professional studio was the drums,” recalls O’Hanlon. “We did everything else at home – which was new for us. However, it really allowed us to experiment with tones, because nobody is telling you to hurry up or play better. We were able to take our time and make the music the best it could be.”

GOD ALONE are:

Jake O’Driscoll – guitar, vocals
Cian Mullane – bass, vocals
Jack O’Hanlon – drums
Dylan Kelly – synthesizer
Seán Thompson – guitar

New band PREYRS reveal second single 'Zeros, Ones & Lies'

PREYRS, a visceral new force in alternative rock and metal, reveal their second ever single, 'Zeros, Ones & Lies', out now via Pelagic Records.

Watch the live session video here: https://youtu.be/UdX6RSt-3Uo
Stream: https://orcd.co/preyrs

PREYRS is the brainchild of Belfast rock artist Amy Montgomery and drummer/producer Michael Mormecha. Fusing raw alternative rock energy with the weight of metal, the quartet's music is an electrifying clash of aggression and euphoria, darkness and uplift, chaos and control. Elements of artists as disparate as Nine Inch Nails, Chelsea Wolfe, Sonic Youth, and Julie Christmas combine to delirious and heady effect.

New single, the high-octane ‘Zeros, Ones & Lies’, wrestles with the spiritual toll of being fed constant footage of atrocity and catastrophe by a media that accepts no responsibility for their part in the global race to the bottom. The track bursts into furious life with urgent, double-time drums met by guitars distorted to the brink of destruction before the song all but caves in on itself as Amy quietly asks of us “Can you feel it? / like a river / it flows so silently / it flows so violently”.

Busking on the streets of Belfast from the age of 15, Amy Montgomery met multi-instrumentalist Michael Mormecha a few years later and they’ve been working together ever since. Both songwriters in their own right, Michael fronted renowned Irish post-hardcore outfit Mojo Fury and worked as a producer for artists including The BonnevillesMojo Fury and Joshua Burnside. They're joined as PREYRS by longtime guitarist Nolan Donelly and new bass player Ciarán McGreevy.

Known for electrifying live performances, PREYRS made their UK festival debut at Bloodstock Open Air this August, as well as appearing at Stendhal Festival in Ireland. Nominated as 'Best Live Act' and 'Best Artist' at the Northern Ireland Music Prize, Amy’s undeniably fierce and captivating frontperson energy has been her secret weapon often described as ‘otherworldly’ or ‘a force of nature’. For those seeking the epic, the healing, the aggressive and the unrelenting pulse of alternative rock and metal, PREYRS is it.

Tallah unleash sci-fi concept album Primeval: Obsession // Detachment with new video

Genre-defiant nu-core disruptors Tallah have today released their most ambitious work to date, Primeval: Obsession // Detachment,  a fully live-tracked, sci-fi concept album that pulls listeners into a world of collapsing morality, split identities and sonic chaos. Released via Earache Records, the band have also dropped a brand new music video for focus track 'depleted', one of the album’s strangest and most textural songs.

Shot among rusted rebar and yellow-jacket swarms, the 'depleted' video captures the dystopian atmosphere of the record’s second act - wild, decaying and haunted. Sharing more on the experience, frontman Justin Bonitz shares:

“Despite all the dust, yellow jackets, and rusty rebar, this was one of the coolest locations we have ever shot at. There was so much to explore, and it really captured the vibe/aesthetic we saw in our heads when listening to the song. Derek Rathbun (director) made everything so easy and streamlined, so the shoot felt a lot shorter than it actually was. ‘depleted’ is one of the weirdest songs on the album, and we were hoping the video would match the same energy. Have fun listening!”

Watch the video to 'depleted' here: https://youtu.be/Zv-QnSjy5T8

Listen here: earache.lnk.to/Primeval

Order Primeval: Obsession // Detachment here: earache.com/tallah

The track itself maintains the raw, unedited approach that defines Primeval: Obsession // Detachment. The album was recorded live in Michigan with producer Josh Schroeder using no clicks, no edits, and no safety nets. Like its four predecessors, 'What we know', 'A primeval detachment', 'augmented' and 'as fate undoes', 'depleted' also ties directly into the album’s layered sci-fi narrative. The concept follows two characters, Ana and Sheelah, on a morally destructive journey across an alien world. Fans can dive deeper into the lore through The Primeval Game, a playable story-world that’s updated monthly with new clues, song teasers, and narrative expansions. Explore the game, built in collaboration with Enzo Interactive at primevalgame.com

Primeval: Obsession // Detachment stands as Tallah's most ambitious and uncompromising work to date. Weaving sci-fi storytelling together with deliberately imperfect performances, Tallah prove that human instinct still has power in an increasingly artificial landscape.

Tracklisting:

1. 05:01
2. What We Know
3. augmented
4. as fate undoes
5. my primeval obsession
6. _la|cuna_
7. A primeval detachment

Emerging from Pennsylvania in 2018, Tallah fuse the percussive force of second-generation drummer-turned-bassist Max Portnoy with the unpredictable dexterity of vocalist and viral phenom Justin Bonitz and the phenomenal guitarist duo of Derrick Schneider and Alex Snowden to form a sound that’s part brutalist nu-metal, part theatrical meltdown, and entirely their own. What began as a raw homage to the early-2000s metal they were raised on—Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park—has since evolved into something far stranger and far more singular.

After making waves with their 2020 debut Matriphagy, a twisted concept album soaked in trauma and noise, the band were hailed by Knotfest as delivering “one of the best metal releases of the year” and by Metal Hammer as “leading the charge on the new wave of nu-metal.” The follow-up, The Generation Of Danger (2022), saw them push their hybrid sound further into chaos—earning millions of streams, high-profile festival slots, and nominations at both the Heavy Music Awards and AIM Independent Music Awards.

But it’s on album three, Primeval: Obsession // Detachment (out 5th September 2025 via Earache Records), that Tallah truly shatter what’s left of the mould. Decamping to Michigan to record the entire project live with longtime producer Josh Schroeder, the band abandoned edits, clicks, backing tracks, and rules. What remains is pure instinct—feral, volatile, and unrelentingly human.

To date, Tallah have clocked up 29.7 million Spotify streams and 6 million YouTube views.

We got to play together a couple of times in the past and it has always been a blast hanging out with them. Also, it's such a big honour to have Textures on the tour aswell being the djent poineers they are. They influenced us and our music heavily and we're more than ready to conquer Europe with them! With our new album 'Angel' being released just a few months before the tour, this will be the first time you'll get to see us with our new songs!”

Also announced are Dutch tech metal pioneers Textures. This will be the first full European tour for the band since their reunion and that they will be presenting fresh songs from their first new album in 10 years.

Textures commented: “We’re more than excited to join Jinjer and Unprocessed on the European Duél tour running from January 23rd until March 2nd in 2025. This will be our first extensive five week tour since our last run back in 2016, so we are looking forward to heading out there once more and see all of you out there!”

27 Jan: SWG3, Glasgow
28 Jan: 3Olympia, Dublin
29 Jan: O2 Ritz, Manchester
30 Jan: O2 Institute, Birmingham
31 Jan: O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

Pre-order Angel here:  https:ffm.to/unprocessed-angel

Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.

The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: "This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany - it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of "Angel" in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we've ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.

The band’s previous album, ...and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).

In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Their collaborative work with Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on ...and everything in between highlighted  the potential Unprocessed continues to exhibit amongst the scene’s most exciting guitar focused acts.

Central to Unprocessed’s identity is guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose playing has garnered international attention across online platforms and beyond. His partnership with Ibanez, including a signature model, and his ongoing guitar clinics around the world, reflect his growing status as one of the leading voices in modern metal guitar.

Unprocessed continue to push their sound forward with each release. Angel presents their most focused and dynamic material to date, offering a deeper look into the extremes of human experience without losing the technical foundations that first set them apart.
