As you know, there is war raging through the streets and cities of Ukraine right now. Many people have little or no food or water and are very afraid of what tomorrow may bring. Together with Napalm Records, we’re releasing two new T-Shirt designs to raise funds to be donated to various charities throughout Ukraine to help with medical and food supplies, water and so on. If you cannot donate then please share this or any news related to what's really happening here. Each sale may save somebody’s life in Ukraine. Thank you."
- Eugene Abdukhanov

100% of proceeds earned from these T-Shirts will be distributed directly to charity organizations of JINJER‘s choosing and the band will update you on social media.

You can get both T-Shirts HERE: https://linktr.ee/JinjerOfficialMERCH

Swedish symphonic metal heavyweights Tungsten release new riff-heavy single

'March Along' streaming now

Bliss LP released 17th June via Arising Empire

Swedish symphonic metal quartet Tungsten have released their new riff-heavy single 'March Along', taken from their third album, Bliss, due for release 17th June via Arising Empire.

Watch the video to 'March Along' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbLYidUnpGk
Pre-order Bliss here: https://tungsten.lnk.to/bliss

On the new single, drummer Anders Johansson comments: "This song is one of my personal favourites, even though I love them all. The groove in 'March Along' is really nice and creates an urge to headbang."

The quartet's third offering is their heaviest and darkest album to date, with the typical ingredients that define Tungsten's music also breaking new ground and exploring fresh territories. The hooklines are stronger and more dynamic, with lyrics taking a darker turn whilst still focusing on relatable themes.

Andersson continues: "It all came naturally. Creating and recording this album truly put us in touch with the feeling of bliss. Nick and Karl, who wrote the music, have really shown their skills and musical talents. Bliss explores new musical ideas but is still based in the genre that we established in the band from the beginning."

Bliss was recorded at Harm Studios, Trelleborg (Sweden). Nick Johansson once again took care of the mixing, mastering and production duties with the albums artwork taken care of by Andreas Marschall.

Bassist Karl Johansson states: "We really hope that Bliss will reach an even broader fanbase than before. So much pain, sweat and love has been put into this album so we're truly excited to introduce Bliss to the world".

Anders Johansson agrees; "This album might be one of the hardest ones I've had to record. Nick is close to a perfectionist at the production helm, so if I can find something that has been good about the pandemic it might be the fact I could spend many more hours in the drum studio just to practise and develop my technique".

Tungsten are ready to enter the live scene in 2022 and are already confirmed for Oslo Metal Winter fest in Norway as well as Sabaton Open Air in August, 2022.

Tungsten were formed in 2016 when drummer Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, Yngwie J. Malmsteen’s Rising Force, Manowar) asked his sons Nick Johansson (guitars) and Karl Johansson (bass) if they were interested in starting a brand new band with him.

Tungsten's music has become synonymous with melodies, industrial power metal, and hints of Northern Folk music. Tungsten's first album, We Will Rise, was released in September 2019 with the track 'The Fairies Dance' close to passing 3 million streams on Spotify alone.

A year later, in November 2020, Tungsten released their second album, called Tundra. The song 'King of Shadows' was chosen as the first single, and has since gone on to become an anthem for Tungsten when performing live on stage.

Mike Andersson | Vocals
Karl Johansson | Bass & Screams
Nick Johansson | Guitar
Anders Johansson | Drums

Deathcore heavyweights Crown Magnetar release merciless new single/video 'God Is My Enemy'

Alone In Death EP out 25th March via Unique Leader Records

Modern deathcore juggernauts Crown Magnetar have issued a new single from their forthcoming EP, Alone In Death, which arrives on 25 March via Unique Leader Records. The merciless new track, 'God Is My Enemy', showcases the full might of Chicago based Crown Magnetar's relentless ferocity that takes a scorched earth approach to all in their path.

Pre-order the EP and stream the new single here: https://orcd.co/aloneindeath

Watch the new video here: https://youtu.be/tC4Swuv6Q3M

Crown Magnetar commented: "When something is pushed onto you, you can develop intense contempt and resentment for whatever that may be. I am free. I am sane. I have morals. God is my enemy."

With a compelling combination of tech, core and death elements, Crown Magnetar emerged in 2017 showcasing technical riffs, relentless blast beats and crushing yet dynamic vocals. Releasing The Prophet of Disgust EP in 2018, the band followed up with their critically acclaimed debut full-length entitled The Codex Of Flesh on 30th April, 2021 which they supported with a US tour alongside the formidable Lorna Shore

Of the new EP Crown Magnetar adds, "While as a band we’ve always been about incredibly fast, incredibly jarring deathcore with a lot of death metal influence, Alone In Death was written with speed and captivation in mind the whole time, on top of our go-to writing styles. At the same time, we’ve added an emphasis on emotional depth, making sure the riffs and beats were as memorable as they were extreme. Everyone goes through varying degrees of hardship, pain and isolation. Alone in Death reflects that both lyrically and emotionally."

Alone In Deathdemonstrates a band not f*cking around, showcasing a captivating display of precision, musicianship and relentless savagery across six blistering tracks, determined to claw their way to the very top of the deathcore pile.

Melodic death metallers Railgun stream new single / video for 'No Machine'

Canada-based melodeath band, Railgun, have released a new music video for their single 'No Machine', streaming now.

Check out the video for 'No Machine', directed by Mike Hjorth, here: https://youtu.be/OU7TeVIqrBk

On the new single, Railgun state:

"Instrumentally, 'No Machine' was written to be a bare bones, no bells and whistles banger. It’s catchy, heavy, and straight to the point. We wanted to really boil down on the songwriting and production on this song so it would translate well into a live setting.

Lyrically, it touches upon a few different subjects, but broadly speaking it’s about forging your own way, towing the line between darkness and light. We definitely think people will relate to this song for a multitude of reasons."

Formed in 2009, Railgun's style is deeply influenced by the metalcore pioneers of the late 1990s and early 2000s. As time went on, and line ups changed, the band naturally transformed into something that was far more eclectic and versatile. Their debut full-length release, Tension (2018), firmly drives this point home when measured up against their previous works. Throughout the album, Railgun flaunt their ability to bridge the gap between crushing heavy riffs and beautiful melodic lines, a juxtaposition that has a unique way of drawing upon the deeply rooted emotions of the listener. Tension is a clear indication of Railgun’s unwavering dedication to make a name for themselves in metal.

To set down blueprints for their future, the band will be releasing a series of singles which will continue to grow and evolve not only the sound, but what Railgun is as an artistic endeavour. The previous and first single, 'Doom Town', is a testament to the band’s willingness to push past what people expect from them and tread into uncharted territory.

Railgun are:
Zack Kangas-Sinsbury | Vocals
Mike Henderson | Bass
Jake Pechiwa | Drums
Ray Milton | Guitars

Los Angeles, California's Nekrogoblikon are melodic hard rock pranksters who deploy gnarly death metal earworms filled with crafty hooks, claw-pumping choruses, lightning-fast riffs, and over the top, EDM-style keyboard flourishes. With their ostentatious goblin hypeman John Goblikon, the band takes cues from hyperbolic horror-metal enthusiasts like GWAR, Finntroll, and Dethklok, while maintaining an affable, self-referential sense of humour. The group's early outings, like 2007's Goblin Island, were largely low-fidelity affairs, but by the early 2010s, Nekrogoblikon were operating at a far higher technical level, and employing a rotating cast of talented players.

Founded in 2006, Nekrogoblikon self-produced their debut album, the relatively lo-fi Goblin Island, in a basement. The LP was released in 2007, and an expanded line-up was quickly assembled to help flesh out the fledgling group's audacious live shows. The more technically proficient Stench arrived in 2011, and included the single 'No One Survives' — the video written and directed by Brandon Dermer (Panic At The Disco, Every Time I Die, Diplo, Dillon Francis) became a viral hit, and landed the band festival slots at Download Festival in the UK and Rock Im Park/Rock Am Ring in Germany. The Power EP was issued the following year, and in 2014 the band joined Limp Bizkit on the Kerrang! Tour. In 2015 they released the concept LP Heavy Meta via their own Mystery Box label, and in 2018, Nekrogoblikon issued their fourth studio long-player, Welcome to Bonkers, which was followed by extensive touring including performing on the entirety of the final cross-country Vans Warped Tour and Summer Slaughter. In between touring stints, the band (along with Brandon Dermer and writer/actor Dave Rispoli) released three seasons of RIGHT NOW, a comedic talk show starring band mascot John Goblikon. The series features a wide array of high profile guests including comedian Bobby Lee, The Used, Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die, Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit, and Joe Trohman from Fallout Boy.

Legendary heavy metal vocalist Dee Snider was recently interviewed as part of a powerful new REELZ documentary detailing the aftermath of one of the most horrific tragedies in music history, The Station nightclub fire, entitled America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List. Featured in the documentaries soundtrack is one of the most heartfelt, moving songs from Dee's latest album, Leave A Scar, entitled 'Stand'. Today, in honour of the lives lost, Dee Snider and The Guest List director/producer David Bellino proudly unveil a brand new music video for 'Stand', featuring unforgettable footage from the documentary itself.

Dee Snider says about the 'Stand' music video:
"While I didn't write 'Stand' for The Station nightclub fire documentary, America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List, it is a perfect fit. The full tragedy of that horrific night was the despicable lack of support shown for a community in desperate need. 'Stand' speaks to the importance for us all to recognise these moments of desperation and do something about them. 'Don't leave your mark... leave a scar!'"

REELZ original documentary America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List premiered this past Sunday, 20th February, presenting the deeply personal stories of lives forever altered by the tragic Station nightclub fire that left 100 people dead, more than 200 injured, and devastated the tight-knit community of West Warwick, Rhode Island. Dee Snider has performed at The Station nightclub numerous times throughout his career and was instrumental in bringing together fellow recording artists for a fundraising concert for survivors and victims’ families.

Dee Snider adds:
“Nobody should have to die because they want to see a band and listen to the music they love. Nobody should be scarred for life, be crippled or have their children orphaned because of their love for rock n' roll. This documentary not only serves as a reminder of this incredible tragedy, but it shines a light on an amazing group of people who overcame unfathomable loss, and survived, even thrived in the aftermath.”

Dee Snider’s latest album, Leave A Scar, is an illuminating plentitude of angst etched in time, serving as a musical refuge and expressive output for Dee. But in turn, this auditory time capsule, written to express the anger, unease and pain, emerges as not only crushingly heavy, but relentlessly powerful. Each of the 12 tracks on Leave A Scar not only further bolster Dee Snider's position as one of the most celebrated frontmen of all time, showcasing that his vocal delivery and commanding swagger is as strong as ever, but that he is nowhere near stopping.

Nu-Metal newcomers Sicksense announce debut EP and release title track single / video

Kings Today EP due 22nd April

Hard-hitting and melodic; pissed off and groovy; energetic and catchy: Sicksense are here to make you bounce and sing your heart out with their exciting and refreshing brand of groove metal. The band - Killer V (Vicky Psarakis of The Agonist) and Rob The Ripper (Robby J. Fonts of Stuck Mojo), with guitarist Breakdown Bran (Bran Panic), drummer The Trve Cody Taylor (Cody Taylor) and bassist Spot-On Sam/SOS (Samuel Bedard) - have announced the release of their debut EP Kings Today on 22nd April and have unveiled a brilliantly entertaining video for the title-track.

Pre-order Kings Today here: https://soundescapeagency.com/sicksense/kingstoday

Following the release of debut video 'Make Believe' new single / video 'Kings Today' serves as a fun and hard-hitting introduction to the band and is an exciting taste of what can be expected from the EP. Directed by Chris Kells, who is also the bassist from The Agonist, the concept of a visual food fight was one he'd been wanting to create for some time, and 'Kings Today' turned out to be the perfect fit.

On the single Killer V comments: "The song is about moving forward together by having a willingness to understand others and that it’s okay to disagree and challenge ideas. At the end of the day, I believe we’re all more alike as people than we are different. The music is dark and moody and sets a serious tone, which creates a beautiful visual contrast with the food flying everywhere and us yelling at each other. Plus, we got a cool bear sitting at the dinner table with us.”

From the opening riffs of 'Kings Today' to the closing growls of "Heart Of Stone," Sicksense are dedicated to their mission of making fans bounce and sing their hearts out through thought-provoking lyrics, rage-fuelled raps and powerful melodies, supported with low-tuned stomping nu-metal riffs and grooves.

Having both performed a range of styles in numerous heavy bands, Killer V and Rob The Ripper (who are married) wanted to return to a genre that’s close to their hearts, but also make music that is specifically written for two vocalists. Written with dual vocal interplay from a male / female perspective, their performance reflects a personal and fun side of them as people, but also tackles social and societal issues in the world today. Sicksense were born out of the band’s desire to share their upbeat and fun message with the world.

Kings Today was recorded, mixed & mastered by Christian Donaldson. The artwork for the EP was created by Aleksandra Panic.
